BIG SPOILER- don’t read further if you don’t want to know!!!
I know I’ve said this in the last Dark Prince’s book but I believe it bares repeating: I absolutely adore Lokan and Carol. Even when Lokan first appeared in Ella’s story I liked Logan’s character. Now with Carol it just so much fun to read no - devour it. Dark Prince’s Dilemma has so many beautiful moments like Sissi and Kian oh my heavens so exciting!! The little tid bit that Carol dropped while showering with Lokan! Annanni and her missing Khainn must mean we’ll be getting more of them and a reunion story. I can’t wait for that one. I’m excited to see how Lokan finally fits into the clan, I mean come on Kian you can’t keep him locked up forever!! The mission in the next book is going to keep me on the edge of my set I just know it!!! Absolutely fantastic and amazing!!
Dark Prince’s Dilemma (The Children of The Gods Paranormal Romance Series Book 30) - I.T. Lucas
This whole series from Book 1 “Dark Stranger The Dream” to “Dark Prince’s Dilemma” Book 30 is an amazing ride through the addictive world the author has created. The series is filled with adventure, hot romance, intrigue action, danger, God’s too attractive to be real, and other immortals (awesome characters each getting their own stories woven into the series). This is the second book in Carol and Lokan’s story. Their storyline is so original, creative, intense and has me counting the days till the third book in their story releases. How will Carol’s plan play out? Are Carol and Lokan fated mates and can they find their HEA? Will they find Areana and can she be rescued? The secondary stories serve to intensify and move the whole series forward. It’s phenomenal to have so many books already released in the series with more coming. Start with book one, reading in order is highly suggested. Enjoy this paranormal world it’s an amazing ride.
This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. The storyline just gets better as you read each chapter. With each book the story only gets better and you can still keep up with the other characters also.
There are a lot of high points in this book. Along with great revelations. I’m excited to see their plan unravel in the next book. We are so close to Carols departure of the island.
The internal battle of heart and mind. The build up to the next phase in their love story. What will be the dark prince's ultimate sacrifice for true love.
Carol is so determined to infiltrate the Doomers Island. She is willing to die twice to do it. She realizes that she wants to be looked at as someone strong and capable other than being tortured by the sadist and surviving. Lokan is conflicted about loving Carol and believing in true love mates. Since he has never loved or been loved I totally understand him questioning what is real or not. He seems like a decent guy, but I find it hard to trust him after him manipulating Ella the way he did. Annani is so full of hope of finding her sister Areana that she is willing to accept Lokan as her nephew even though he doesn't know who is mother truly is. I have a feeling that Areana may be the bad one. I have a feeling that she is the one in charge and not Navuh. I can just imagine the fight between Annani and Areana. We shall see what plays out. Overall, another good on in this series. Carol deserves a happy ending with her true love mate. I do hope Lokan and her are truly mated and Lokan will be accepted in the clan if all goes well with the mission. Looking forward to seeing how this mission plays out.
The Dark Prince’s Dilemma KU 299 pgs **** 7/23/21 Lokan & Carol
4 stars. I love Lokan and Carol together, they really just fit. He is so much different than I expected he would be. Neither are sure about the true mates thing and it’s a constant self-battle in their heads of conspiracy theories about the other one. They grow closer and closer. Arwel makes some of the scenes with them funny and I’m not sure that he tries to! The Doomer Island plan moves ahead with so many different plans. Annani meets Lokan and reveals so much that is a shock to them all. Kian is there for a lot of the meetings and meets with Lokan quite a bit. Syssi and Kian continue to take Merlin’s potions to see if it helps Immortal fertility. Good story, flows well, some filler but not bad
Every book I.T. Lucas releases in this series pulls me in more and more! Love how it keeps up with all the characters. So much going on in this installment that I couldn't put it down. Cannot wait to dive into the next book to see what happens next with Carol and Lokan as well as the other storylines!
This book was pure filler. I think the author needs all her couples to have three books to themselves and decided to drag this book out by including mundane crap that should have been edited out.
Every single thought was thrown in the plan to get Carol onto the island and it was agonizing to follow.
All this time I had been wondering why Lokan had visit Losham before he started his plan to kidnap Ella and her mother and the reason was barely mentioned. I suppose he was just trying to feel him out to see if he would join him in rebelling against Navuh. Oh well.
Nothing much to say. See my notes and highlights on Goodreads. Happy reading.
The story of Carol and Lokan is touching. The love they have for each other is inspiring and the fact that Carol is willing to risk her life to save his mother is admirable. Book after book is hard to put down once you start reading. Thank you Ms. Lucas, you have quite the story of immortals and love.
I did get a bit tired of the rather silly and unlikely plans and the constant self doubt in this installment but the story moved at a fast pace and we are finally getting some answers to questions asked long ago.
I have read the series from Book One (Dark Stranger) through book 46! This is the best paranormal romance series I have ever read. Even better than the Shade series by B. Forrest! I read them all since the beginning of the summer till Oct 27 2021
If you love someone, will you set them free? Can Carol get to the island? Can Lokan keep her safe? Another great book. Heading to the next one! Just can't get enough of this series.
Dark Prince’s Dilemma (Children Of The Gods Book 30) by I T Lucas. Vivian and Ella transition at the same time and the plans to get carol on the Doomers island are taking shape.
There is something so loveable about Lokan. Like with Dahlu I am rooting for his happy ending and for him to be allowed to remain in the village or be the catalyst for a new way of life for the doomers
Oohhh! Lokan is a bad bad man. How did this happen? His end game is so unknown! And Carol? What is she thinking? And why is Kian and Ananni ok with this?
