Um mich auf meinen bald stattfindenden Besuch im Museum d'Orsay vorzubereiten, habe ich dieses Bildband erworben. Es hat sich gelohnt! Ich konnte so eine Vorauswahl treffen und mir meine persönliche Besichtigungsroute zusammenstellen. Nun freue ich mich noch mehr auf den Besuch...
Die beschriebenen Bilder sind teils seitengross und von guter Druckqualität! Die beschrieben Bilder sind nach Kunstrichtungen geordnet und da im Museum d'Orsay Bilder von 1850-1920 hängen, werden die Bilder des Expressionismus und Post-Expressionismus wohl meinen Besuch optimieren!!

I love this kind of book and can't give it less than 4*, but I would definitely rate it 5* if the text was better. There was at least one situation in which the titles of two paintings were interchanged and there was a painting which title was correct in all languages except one. However, this book is a great opportunity to get to know lots of pieces from musee d'orsay with great image quality.
