This book is fabulous. It is an amazing story of an older man younger woman story. It is fast pace, well written and interesting – before you know it you are at the end wanting more.

This story just didn’t capture my interest in any way. I didn’t even have any highlights which is very telling for me. Maybe it’s because I’m not a huge fan of MC romances, or maybe I just didn’t connect with the characters for whatever reason. If it hadn’t of been so short I probably would have DNFed it.

This is the 3rd book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Yevgeni is a biker trying to find out what happened to his brother. While at a biker bar he spots Carlie, who is being bothered by two other bikers while she is trying to find someone to help her with her car. Yevgeni steps in to help her and sparks fly. This is a fast-paced insta-love read with loads of drama and steamy chemistry. I was hooked from beginning to end. I really liked it.

Bad Russian book 3. Yevgeni is on his mission to find his brother's killer. Carlie is on the run from evil family members. She seems to make bad decisions that lands her in terrible situations and he rescues her from some bad bikers and their friends. They connect and the sparks fly. It's fast paced, short and sexy. Lots of drama and even touches of today issues but far from preachy.

This is the third story in the Bad Russian series. Each story is a stand alone with each one having one thing in common. These are older Russian men who have had checkered pasts that are looking for their One to live the rest of their lives with and have lots of babies.
This story is about Yevgeni who has recently lost his father and his brother, each in different instances. He didn't grieve for his father's death, but he will find out who killed his brother. Both he and his brother may have come from bad stock, but they both had a good moral compass. He knows that his brother wasn't involved in anything bad, most likely trying to come to some innocent's rescue. He follows some clues and goes to the MC club that his brother had been to last. While there a beautiful woman, quite young, maybe 20 years old, comes into the biker bar with a skimpy shirt, no bra and skin tight shorts, asking if anyone can help with her car that broke down. Two sleaze balls volunteer making all sorts of sexual innuendos on what they want to do to her. Between these two bozos and the guy named Grease, he feels that all the guys in this club are poor excuses of humans. He goes out to help the girl before she is raped right on her car. He then takes her to a garage to get help for her car, now there are seven guys who are about to rape her for 'services to be rendered' on her car. After he sets them straight, using his fists again, he takes her on his bike to a hotel for her to spend the night, since the garage is supposed to have her car fixed in the morning. He gives her money for the hotel and then rides off to finish his investigation. He comes back when the hotel clerk is about to put her in the room next to the office and take advantage of her. He shows up in time to pay for two rooms where he wants and tells the clerk to put any other customers in the other side of the motel. When the two guys from the first club and a couple guys from the garage show up and try to break into her room, he again has to protect her with his fists. Afterwards, well you need to read the story yourself, you will be glad you did. You will see how they feel about each other, what happened to his brother and what he was doing to get himself killed.

Ms. Ball's creativity and imagination sucks you right in to her publications and her latest release, Yevgeni, is just as addictive. The Bad Russian series is incredible. In each book, from the series, we are introduced to gorgeous and desisive men that know what they want and the women that tame them.
Yevgeni, a nomad biker, has come to this town seeking vengeance and what he discovers is his one and only... Carlie. His own personal fireball that is sure to keep him on his toes. Yevgeni gave up searching for his would be wife long ago. Discovering that this young and beautiful woman, that needs constant protection, is the one is shocking. Carlie has escaped her horrid home life to take her chances on the run; God forbid that her Father or 'Uncle Mike' locate her. Her car breaking down was definitely not something she planned or has time for. Walking into a biker bar with $4 in her pocket, being hopeful for help was the wrong move. Discovering a huge Russian nomad sitting at the bar is most likely the best thing she could of hoped for; too bad he ignores her existence, or does he? I encourage all fans of superbly crafted romance (with a side of danger) to devour this release ASAP. I couldn't put it down, nor can I wait for the next Bad Russian release.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Yevgeni in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion. I could not recommend this book or this series more.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Bad Russian series. In this book, Yevgeni is a nomad biker who is looking for answers about what happened to his brother. Yevgeni is visiting a biker bar when Carlie walks in looking for help with her car. Carlie is running away for home and her father because she knows he is into bad things with bad people and something told her to run before it is too late. When her car broke down, she went into the bar hoping for help, but two bikers thought she was going to be their fun for the night. Yevgeni rescues Carlie from the men and offered to take her to a garage to see about getting her car fixed. The mechanics at the garage also tried to attack Carlie and Yevgeni once again came to help her. Yevgeni knew Carlie was trouble, but he was too attracted to her not to help her. Yevgeni also knew he needed answers about his brother. I really liked this book. I thought Yevgeni was a good guy and he really wanted to protect Carlie, he also knew she was going to be his. Carlie seemed to get into trouble without trying and they had more in common than they thought. I like this series about strong alphas who want to protect their women.

Yevgeni is on a mission to find out who killed his brother and why. Meeting Carlie wasn't supposed to happen but she keeps putting herself in bad situations. But Kentucky never looked, felt, smelled and tssted so good. She dresses like shes looking for trouble but in reality she is looking to escape. Their relationship is tenuous at best, he protects her but isnt interested in nore, yeah sell me a bridge. Turns out them crossing paths leads to answers to his questions. But now he is dealing with two MC chapters. This book has some minor sexual triggers. Fighting, cussing, innuendos and emotional drama. A sex trafficking ring uncovered and stopped, some deaths, alot of explicit anger. Will Yevgeni be to late to realize how he feels about Carlie or is she going to be another victim of circumstance. What do Carlie and Yevgeni do with his homes in Russia? What about those babies he mentioned? And why is Carlie experimenting with fruits and vegetables in Yevgenis diet?

Now she was running from a bike gang as well, her only hope, the big Russian nomad and his bike. Yevgeni knew she was trouble but she did not deserve what was waiting for her, instead she followed him and the trouble he had waiting. This was an interesting story of revenge, lust and the mob. The more time he spent with Carlie the harder it was to leave her until he decided to keep her. Yevgeni was a man on a mission but the feelings that grew from the time he spent with her told him she was not only trouble she was his as well.

I felt like I was reading this story from the middle instead of from the beginning. It does explain why, when, where and how, so that's covered it's just that I felt there could have been so much more to it - there is potential for there to be. A former Russian military soldier has come to the backwoods of Ohio looking for those who murdered his brother comes across a young lady on the run from her father and "uncle" Mike who have decided to use her virginity to get themselves out of debt. It seems this young lady attracts the wrong kind of trouble, especially the biker kind and the Russian feels compelled to "save the day" each time. The story is about their interactions together while he searches for his brothers' killers, and she tries to stay ahead of her father and "uncle." I'm glad I read this book; it is a "feel good in humanity" storey with grit.

Detoured while on the run
Yevgeni Protector is Book 3 in the Bad Russian series and follows along the same basis as the previous books in that there is insta-love/lust, very possessive and protective older Alpha H, and a young and innocent h in some sort of trouble.
The story is fast-paced and filled with all the lots of sparking chemistry between Carlie and Yuvgeni. They have an interesting story with Carlie on the run from her father and "uncle" but then her car breaks down. She ends up at a bar where she is being harassed by two bikers and Yuvgeni steps in to help her. along with help her to deal with her car.
I will note that this book could use a really good editor and proofreader. But if you can get past the mistakes then it is a fun and quick book to read.

Yevgeni is a wandering biker in town for revenge. However when he sees Carlie he knows that she is the one he wants. Carlie is on the run from her father and her "uncle" Mike when her car breaks down and she has no choice but to stop. Yevgeni sees that behind Carlie's eyes the hunted look and he knows that he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. What will they do if her father comes for her? Will Yevgeni give up his quest for revenge?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read this book as part of an ARC Program on condition I provide my honest opinion. Yevgeni Protector Book 3 in the Bad Russian Series is a great read. It is fast-paced with lots of action and I just don't mean the burning action between Yevgeni and Carlie!! If you like an older man/younger girl storyline then this book will appeal to you. I enjoyed this book very much as it held my interest until the very end. Yevgeni is a great protector of Carlie, a she is a mighty distraction from his real dilemma of looking for his brother. Enjoy!!!

Well Alice May Ball took a subject from today's headlines and put her spin on it. I found some of the story predictable and other parts were not. I enjoyed this story. I found Yevgeni intriguing as much as he fought his attraction to Carlie he still wanted to protect her. As innocent as Carlie is she still has the smarts that she needs to get away. This is a fast read with an interesting storyline. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

Alice May Ball is a new author to me and I am so glad to discover her. This was the story of Yevgeni and Carlie. This was a total thrill ride. Yevgeni is a sexy Russian biker looking for information on his brother's death when he meets Carlie. The last thing he wants is a girl holding him back from his mission. But seeing Carlie in trouble he makes it his job to be her protector. Great insta-love story with plenty of twists and turns that have you reading to the last page!

My fav book in series
The thing I really like about this series is that each book is suuuuuper different. They are true standalones and yet they have the same flavors running throughout. It’s a really satisfying series this book is brilliant because the guy was the reluctant one and the hit was ready right out the gate and she was zany and needy in a not needy way it was brilliant

You know what to expect from Alice May Ball.....a consistently good, fast paced, sexy read. Yevgeni is a nomad, Russian biker out to find out who killed his brother. Carlie is a young girl in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Yevgeni thinks he can help her and be on his way, but that's not the way it works out. Fast paced, twists and turns, and a whole lot of steaminess. Solid read!

Inside to see if she could get some help to get her car started
this is where the plot really started to get real interesting.
Yevgeni was at the same club trying to get information on
his brother death. He saw two of the bikers giving her a hard time.
To find out what happens you’ll have to read it for yourself.
I definitely recommend this book if you like action and steam in your
books.
