Surely not…..it can’t be! Not Cully.

Legendary bounty hunter Samuel “Cully” McCullough returns to Cheyenne, Wyoming in hopes of finding the love and peace he has been deprived of for many years.

Instead, he finds himself facing off with a dangerous man who will stop at nothing to see the West buckle beneath his iron fist. Walter “The Savage” Pratt is as wicked as they come. He's nearly untouchable when it comes to the law. Can Cully set things right in Cheyenne? Or will the pressure send him over the edge?

Maria Rodriguez has seen more pain in her life than most people. She's strong and fierce, a woman of worth who knows her heart. When Cully rides back into town, Maria must choose between letting down the walls she has built around her emotions and letting go of the man who broke her heart. Cully seems different, but Maria is not the same woman she was before she was kidnapped. Can two damaged souls find love in the midst of fear?

With the help of the Rodriguez siblings and a group of liberators and farmers, Cully sets out to battle his deadliest foe ever.

This book has it all….classic western suspense with a touch of good ol’ fashion romance.

Note: Each book in the Cully the Bounty Hunter series is a standalone story that can be read out of order.

Outlaws Revenge!

Leaving the reader totally unsuspecting of an incomplete book. Is the end of Cully? I would assume that there is a follow up coming starting where this book ended. The story was about average for Mr. Slate but he should stick to cowboy books and not love stories. I just can't see Cully saying darlin to anyone including Maria. I hope that our hero survives this and returns to being a gun toten bounty hunter.

The 10 book collected ends with Cully dead (or missing?). I've purchased books #11 and #12 of the series so obviously Cully does return. You just can't kill a good character.

Just an unbelievably outstanding western masterpiece. Cully as always, is a force to be reckoned with. Definitely a tear jerker at times, and the ending is a whiz bang journey that touches any reader's heartstrings!

Never read a story by Mr. Slade that wasn't five stars worthy, but this one certainly exceeds that by plenty more. Cully, Mateo and crew go above and beyond in their quest for justice. The camaraderie of the good guys was very heartwarming, and impressive, as they banded together to bring peace and tranquility to their town! Plenty of gunplay and the compassionate storylines successfully portrays their desire to return love and fellowship for everyone. Too, the character selections were outstandingly selected for their assignments!
This heartwarming story is so factually realistic that the reader becomes part of the action. I was hooked immediately with the author's outstanding descriptiveness of each and every exciting adventure unable to put the book aside until finished. The ending is definitely devastating, and I have read all of the Cully series, but probably would not have read this one if I had known the end results.
Definitely recommend this compassionately outstanding western masterpiece to all readers, especially all of you western fanatics, as you will enjoy the exciting gunfights. You non-western readers will definitely enjoy this compassionately western and heartwarming western folklore adventure, and I assure you, you will not be disappointed in this masterpiece of excitement!😀

Cully: His Last Gunfight: (Cully the Bounty Hunter-Book 10)

Cully was the best at what he did, some think bounty hunters were no better than hired guns with no morals compass that led them to chose who they went after. Cully was the one who always was on the side of the ones who had no one to turn to for help. There were always men who felt that the were entitled and would rather steal, terrorize, rape , and murder to acquire more land and wealth than work for it like the settlers who moved to the west to make better lives. These were the people that Cully would fight for, every time, to make a difference for the people who needed help. His stories have always been great reads, and this one was too.

Cully the Bounty Hunter books 1-10

I have read all 10 of the Cully books and have found that each one was as riveting as the last, so much so that I can honestly say that Orris Slade has kept me awake at nights just to finish the book I was reading. I found that unlike some series of novels each one was a fantastic story in its own right and would love for the series to continue but the author must decide if it will or not. Well written and exciting to read I can only say thank you for such a great read.

Seems a bit rushed to include past story lines possibly wrapping the Cully series, however, as a fan of foreshadowing, ......no body found, "villian" still at large, Samson would know and never leave his best friend. If this is finale for Cully, not the feel good I would have looked for but not all books/authors choose a "happily ever after" ending. Sooooooo, please bring him back! ;)

An OS. Western Action Adventure (C) (HLG) (CTBHB - 10)

OS. has penned a western action adventure that begins with SC. returning to Cheyenne with the intent to marry Maria. He is in love with her and she with him. He is asked by the local ranchers to assist them in fighting off a mad killer who is trying to own all of Wyoming. The two sides engage in a few gun rights and they father evidence on the mad man. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Cully returns to Cheyenne to court and marry the love of his life. Walter Pratt is a ruthless ranch who doesn't mind stealing and murdering to get more land. When his men try to burn down La Rosa, tho warm Cully, he went to far. All the action and suspense you have come to expect from a Cully book with a shocking ending. Or is it the end?

Hated this book

I hope there is a #11 book showing Cully didn’t die. I was terribly disappointed in the ending. So awful.
