It was the opportunity of a lifetime, a chance to compete for a position to write a television miniseries. Tiana Pryce was sure that she would be shortlisted until she found out that the show-runner for the miniseries was her former high school English teacher, James Dalton.James had been her obsession when she was his student. She had stalked and hounded him until he was fired from his job because of her inappropriate behavior. But that’s all in the past, right? If she won a spot on his writing team, they would be meeting as adults. She could atone for her youthful sins against him, and he would see that she had changed for the better. After all, she was a newly engaged, mature woman, and what she felt for James in the past was a fluke or was it?

I have this book 3 stars because the story line was very predictable and drawn out. Tiana and James' story is nice and things definitely came full circle for them. However we learned most of what was happening with them in book 1 of The Pryce Sisters. It was hard to stay engaged throughout.
So very glad that by the end of this story “The Pryce Was right” A wonderful it example of everything in our lives has a time and a season. Beautiful love story yet it left me with unanswered questions about another Pryce that was the reason for the four stars Perhaps my unanswered questions will come in the last book of this series
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Tiana had a huge crush on her teacher James back in High school. Her aggressive behavior caused him to lose him job and a fiancée. Now, years later they are reconnected through a script writing competition. There are a few twist, but James and Tiana’s will discover their love is true.
Wow this family has many twists and hidden history. I guessed the story about Krista's character however I would have never guessed about Cole's character. Ghana shows that one should never give up in professional endeavors, love and hopefully friends. I enjoy this author's writing, easy to read.
This book was fun, romantic & exciting Like the nice description of the characters that help my mind make them more alive & real I loved the pure love and think anyone searching for a good pure love would love this book
This story really kept me flipping the pages. I’ve read all the books of the Pryce sisters and have had the same experience with each book...unable to put them down.
Wow! Sometimes you just can’t get that one true love out of your system. I’m glad that James and Tiana finally got together. It really got me heated that Aymara was a “so called best friend “ and kept important information from Tiana. Can’t wait to read book three
Fun read with enough twist to keep me turning the pages but left hanging with Krista Pryce. James finally ended up with the right Pryce Tiana at the right time!
I'm not going to say anything about likes or dislike. Just know when you have a true Friend or not. When needed. But only received betrayal. Love her books
James and Tiana both were attracted to each other when she was in student in high school but he knew he couldn't act on it and he tried to resist all her advances towards him. One day she just kissed him out of the blue and it altered his life course with him getting fired, evicted, dumped by his fiancé, and a different career path that made them cross paths later in life. Krista is James's bitter ex-fiancé who wants him back but feels as though Tiana is in the way again. Tiana tried to date her bestfriend's, Yara, brother Cole for two years but she never developed feelings of love for him and later she found out why she couldn't ever connect with him on that level. James and Tiana got to have a second chance at love after establishing a courting friendship while working together. If I was Tiana, I wouldn't accept Yara back into my life as a friend because of the way she betrayed her for withholding her brother's sexual preferences of sexing men on the down low. I'm glad that Krista possibly found out who her father is which is Tiana's nephew Arnold who is Caroline's son. I hate Elsa got fired but I can't wait to see what happens next with her and Mason Magnus. I understand Mason's reasons for going after Theodore(Toddy) so hard when he explained them to Tiana. I'm glad that Pete and Giselle are still happily married.
The Pryce series is an excellent read. I did not like how book 2 abruptly ended. I wanted the story to delve into the summer after Tiana’s breakup, beginning of her writing career and new/old time love affair. I would have loved the in between. I was just really getting into her an James’ life then bam the end. It was is heartening not to know. Overall good storyline just needed less abruptness.
This was a great book. Tiana seemed to know what she wanted and was finally able to have the love she longed for with James. The Pryce family seems to growing at every turn. I did see that coming about Cole but it added a great twist to the story.
The heart will always knows what’s best for you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️. Love always conquer. Bless you Brenda Barrett for making the best love stories. Love you so much.
True lasting love is hard to fine. Some people never find it. However, in this novel it was find at a young age and stood the test of time. There were a ton of roadblocks, but nothing that could not be knocked down to go. Happiness!
I loved the story of Tiana and James. I also loved the suspense and intrigue in their story. I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance novels.
Another great story in the trilogy of the Pryce sisters by Brenda Barrett. Loved reading James and Tiana’s story and looking forward to reading about Elsa! This author never disappoints.
