Mama says: we are so happy to finally get this one, it is been on hold forever because we were waiting for the library to order it. We have now read all the A-Z mysteries to date and I am so glad the series got better and better as it went along because it was definitely easier to read when the mysteries were a little bit more mysterious.

In this, the twelfth book in the series, good friends Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose travel to Florida to spend time with the aunt of Wallis Wallace, an author of mysteries. Aunt Alice is friendly and quite welcoming, and the youngsters have the chance to explore a space shuttle and space museum. They also solve the mystery behind a plot to frighten Alice into selling her property. This is a fast read featuring observant youngsters who foil some dastardly individuals. Once I finished the book, I thought to myself about how hard it is to know whom you can trust these days. There's a hidden message in the book, which will add to its appeal for youngsters.

Poor Ron Roy wrote this before the coronavirus pandemic, and the book explicitly takes place in April, 2020. So we've got Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose in vacation in Florida, and don't we all wish we were on vacation too!

This one wasn't all that memorable, and the mystery wasn't particularly high-stakes. Wallis Wallace's aunt owns a space museum and someone is trying to con her out of it. Five-year-old and I were interested but not intrigued.

Nice book. Loved it. Dink Josh and Ruth rose are amazing detectives. 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️ But I think Kenny and Hannah ,should, have just told Alice that we like the property and we would like to have it. And of course she would say no. But th a thats the right thing to do.Well they both betrayed alice and lost her trust. But Howie was good. Without him there is no property for Alice.

I stopped reading this after chapter 4. The kids are staying with a woman while in Florida and are permitted to bunk all together in the barn. Call me old fashion, but the girls and boys are permitted to sleep in the same room and I don’t think this is a wise choice for any child or adult who is not married. Therefore, I cannot recommend this as a children’s book.
