Storyline kept me reading as the main characters kept the drama going and ended up being closer than they could have imagined. Hoping the best for Perc and Merci. Lucky was definitely the one for Blessyn as his efforts and actions proved it. Ending was surprising and has me ready to read next part. Good beginning to series

Great Read
This is my first read by this author, but not my last. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters and I couldn't put it down. It flowed really well and held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. I really liked Syn and Lucky together, they way their relationship blossomed and their chemistry. Now, Merci and Perv were crazy for each other, but I felt Merci needed time to grow. She needed to love herself before she could love anyone else. I see Lex and their father being a problem later on. All the couples got issues with their father.. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. On the the next installment. Good job Jenica Johnson.

This is my first time reading a book by this author... I must say that as far as the storyline... There is definitely talent there... Because little secrets and twist kept coming up... However, there are so many errors and a lot of contradicting information that it would get confusing and made me get frustrated a lot... One part that really got me was a chapter that was labeled Merci but it was really Lucky... But I had to figure that out on my own because this chapter was mislabeled... Other than that I can say that even when I would get frustrated while reading... The storyline was strong enough for me to not put the book down... I felt the need to keep reading... I just had to know what happened next... I feel that this book definitely has a lot if potential to be an amazing read...
Blessyn man what can I say about her... She dealt with a lot but look at her still standing... Of course with the help of her sister Merci... But Blessyn is about her business... She feels like she does not need a man... But all she does is work... But that is her way of escaping the reality of losing her man and her son... But as time goes on the real deal about her man just kept coming out... One night on the town with her sister and boom her thinking starts to change... Her heart starts to open up and she my finally be able to allow happiness to enter... But because she is holding a big secret... Will this cause her to lose everything that she finally opened herself to...
Now with Lucky... I really like him... He is a man about his business... Yes he was in the streets rough... But as of now he is on the legal side of business... He has not quit walked all the way away from the game because he has to make sure his brother Perc is okay... But he is all the way in the background... He is single with no kids and is a great catch... Well let's just say that he treats women the way they present themselves to him... so for him, one night on the town and he may have just met his future... The crazy part is that he was not even looking... And who would have thought that a one night stand could bring him the happiness that he deserves...
Blessyn presented herself different from any woman that Lucky ever met... She actually demanded respect and she made him chase her... She kept pushing him away but it was like this only intrigued him more... And this the chase was on...
Merci was a wild one... Of course as time goes on we find out why she is the way that she is... I felt sorry for her because to me I felt like she was lost... It took for her finally to hit rock bottom and end up with absolutely no one in her corner for her to get that wake up call that she needed...
As for Perc... he had a dramatic life with his baby momma Lex... All because he did not want to be with her... Whenever he tried to build something with someone else she would show her butt... but now he had his eyes set on Merci... They are both feeling eachother but man the obstacles might just be to much for them...
Now to get into part 2 to see how everything will play out... With Blessyn will she end up in the place she was before because of her decision not to disclose important information... Will Lucky stick by her side with or will he shut down seeing how he is dealing with his own issues in his family... Is it to late for Perc... Is Merci finally over him... Will Merci stay in the right track... Let's find out where part 2 will take us...

Yeeessss. She Strikes Again!!
Jenica really pulled the okie doke this time. I love these characters. I mean I loved everything about them. First off Lucky is everything you look for in book bae. He got his stuff together and he smooth as can be. Perc is the wild card but he funny and everything about him screams roughneck. Merci got some serious issues but you can't help but to feel for because she still young and got a lot of living and learning to do. She surprised me towards the end but it made me proud of her. Blessyn is like the big sister everyone wants. Yeah she came off strong on a few occassions but it's out of love. I think with the way things happened a little more mad at her than I am at Lucky. A lot of the struggle could've been avoided but keeping secrets has a way of turning your whole world upside down. Jenica delivered as always and got me over her trying to wait patiently on the next installment. This storyline is lit, the characters are bomb, and everything flows like water.

First time reader
So I seen this author in another book by one of my favorite authors. I don't really read synopsis cause sometimes I forget, I didn't read this one until I started reading the book. I am really glad I read this book from this author. She did a really good job and the flow was effortless. Each couple is made for each other. Lucky and Syn were just super cute. They flow of their relationship didn't seem rushed to me, it's like everything happened when it was supposed to. Now Perc and Merci are crazy but I love them as well. I believe Merci needed to grow up and really love herself before she can fully be in a relationship with Perc but I believe he still has some ways to go as well. If he can get Lex under control I believe everything will fall into place. They all have daddy issues from one person and that's just crazy but hopefully they can work them out. Great read!!!

A Must Read
Blessyn took a helluva loss. I understood why she was so closed off and just focused on her business as well as making sure her little sister Merci stayed out of trouble. It wasn't hard figuring out what Lucky nightmares was about. It just going to be heartbreaking when the truth comes out if Lucky was behind it. Merci need to grow up. This child has put herself in situations where she could of gotten hurt but the dysfunction she grew up it. Explains her behavior. Perc is a hot head but his love for Merci is clear. He just need to get a hold of his silly acting baby momma Lex because she be doing too much. The way this ended I hope really hope Lucky is not behind the pain and suffering that Blessyn had endured.

I hope the wait isn't long for book 2
Jennnniiiiccccaaaaaa girrrrlll I knew this book was going to be good but dang I didn't expect for you to throw all this juiciness in it. Lucky 😍😍😍 is book bae for sure Lord bless it be. I need somebody to do to me what he did to Blessyn in the restaurant. Then Perv and Merci just all kinds of nice-nasty is going on and then this cliffhanger I knew it was coming I just didn't know it was going to be this big like fr fr. I need to know how Lucky knows these people and has never meet Blessyn. The question in my head is already running wild like how you know baby boy

I like the relationship dynamics between Lucky and Blessyn and I hope their marriage succeeds after she finds out that he knew her son and that he finds out that Kason was her son when she told him previously that she didn't have any kids. I wonder was his death the reason why Lucky be having nightmares. I hope Perc and Merci get it together and that Lex sits down somewhere and stop all the baby momma drama. I think it was Lucky and Perc's dad who killed their mother. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Lucky in Love!!
Blessyn was really blessed to find love with a one night stand. Lucky was all that and then some. This storyline is so amazing. I just want more. This book is like getting two stories in one. Merci and Perc story is so deeply entwined with Lucky and Blessyn. It just left me with my heart pounding and palms sweating. I can hardly wait for part 2. Great writing and an amazing story.

Good read but a little rushed
This was a great read once again but it could have been wrapped up as two books. Syn started to annoy me and merci is definitely immature. It felt like the book was rushed and almost became predictable. At some parts, it seemed like each character had different amounts of time passing as their chapter came but would still be talking about something the previous character experienced. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Outstanding!!!
I loved Blessyn and Merci!! Percy was my boy but I loved Lucky and now this cliffhanger got me like 😳😳😳..Please don’t let it be what I think it is !!! This was a great book and I can’t wait until part 2..I don’t like that daddy and I hope the truth doesn’t ruin the happiness the sisters and brothers are building!!

You always give us your best...I had already figured out that Lucky had something to do with he son being killed...I honestly don't think it was on purpose...but we will see...I love all the characters....I can't wait to see what becomes of Blessyn and Lucky's relationship and Perc and Merci....don't keep me waiting too long...Great job again!!!! This book was entertaining but very absurd....like how are you married and pregnant in three months to someone who murdered your child and its father? Also, there was way too many subplots, and it wasn't clear at who's story it was anymore. All I kept saying throughout the whole book was "make it make sense" while laughing at its absurdity. Smh lol

I love this series thus far. Lucky’s father has a lot going on. Merci is quite the character, being she is pregnant, seems she would want to change her ways, don’t seem like that’s going to happen. Perc has some interesting taste in woman. I hope Lucky and Blessyn stand the test of time. I look forward to next installment.

I love Lucky and Syn! I couldn't even work today, lol, I was reading. Mercy and Perc have worked my nerves. That same Daddy, I knew something wasn't right. I'm glad I waited to read Part 1 until I knew Part 2 was out because I'm stuck right now. Great job.

This book was 🔥🔥🔥. I truly hope that book 2 is just as good. I hope Merci continues to stay on the right path. Perc and Lex 😂😂, they are something else. Lucky daddy sure had some secrets come out 👀👀. I am hoping that Syn will get the closure she needs.
