The 31-Day Prayer Powered Entrepreneur is an experience you want to take over and over. The first time I went through the 31-day challenge on-line, it was eye opening. The second time through the on-line challenge coincided with the publishing of the book. Just a day or two into the challenge, the Holy Spirit moved me personally to see the desperate need I had in my own life and business to make this an operating system in my life. We are meeting now in the community to bring like minds together to grow our businesses as we glow through God's agenda vs our own. Love, love, love this book. Transformative, over and over again.

I was in Kim’s first 31-day Prayer Powered Entrepreneur challenge and was a bit of a fish out of water. It was a great experience and made me realize an area of growth that was sorely missing in my life. The challenge was great. Seeing all the people who joined was great. And, mostly feeling and getting connected to God and other like-minded people was amazing.

Now that the book it out, and I am in the midst of a second 31-day challenge, I couldn’t help but want a local, in-person group to go through ans join arms with each other and God to building our connection to him and LET HIM LEAD.

I love the book and look forward to the many, many layers it is taking me through. Looking forward to the community growing across the globe. Thanks Kim!

A business changing book that I will read over and over again! As a Christian entrepreneur I'm leaning in and listening to where God is leading. The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur helped me focus in on prayer for my business. Each day points towards God's promise and a guide to start my prayerful conversation with the Lord. I especially love how Kim shares her personal story and stories of other business owners that is rich with wisdom and encouragement. Amazing! It is one of those rare finds, you know one of those go to books that you have on your desktop and every time you need to do a project, or research some thing, or you are struggling to write or finish a task that you reach for it. This book will be a forever go to for me to help me focus, to build my business with clarity and hope, and when I write I want what I say to help others find their meaning and hope just like this book helps me. Reading this outloud first thing in the morning is like making a declaration that I believe that God will reveal to me what His will is for my life and business. As He answers the specific bold prayers I pray, with the guidance of Kim Avery in this book, I then want to shout praises outloud with a Thank Offering back to God! This is the best book I have found for Entrepreneurs and business owners. As Christian entrepreneurs, we have a tendency to put ourselves on the back burner as we serve others all day. The Prayer-Powered Entrepreneur explains the importance of not only praying for our clients and our businesses, but for ourselves too as the manager of the business. I remember one chapter describing Jesus as the CEO, and I have never looked back after making him the HEAD of my business. I am excited about possibly doing a book study with my friends with this book, it is THAT good! Thank you Kim for your obedience to God in writing this. It's an amazing resource for every christian business owner.

Reading The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur and doing the 31 Day prayer challenge has created a huge shift in the way I see my business and how I connect to God. It seems obvious, but I just didn’t think to pray for specific outcomes in my business or in me as the business owner. My prayers tended to be more general... bless this person, bless me, etc. This book is changing that and I am amazed by the results! I now have a new way that I approach each day. I highly recommended this book to any entrepreneur who is ready to up level their business and themselves!

This book was a game-changer for me. i am currently reading this book, if you are an entrepreneur and you are a believer you need to read this book. this book is a true reflection of what it is to believe in God and own a business. without faith you are unable to do so, and if you don't have faith after attempting to walk the path of entrepreneurship FAITH will be added to your christian tool box. Kim continues to reiterate that Christ is the CEO of everything including your business. Great read

I just finished reading this now and it is beyond amazing! I LOVE how Kim focuses every day, every concept on what God says in His Word! This was a great book for a specific audience. As a new business owner, a Christian, and desiring to do well in my marketplace, I sadly did not feel it was targeted toward me. It seems targeted for Christians that have some sort of ministry as a business and that is not what I have. I do plan to print the prayer prompts and use them for a month. Maybe for me, that will be what I needed from it.

Highly recommend for Christian business owners who do some sort of ministry.

The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur and the 31 day FB on line challenge helped me daily on praying in a focused way that benefited both in my relationship with God and how He is involved in my business. I read it several times as well as completing each daily prayer starter. I also use it as a reference when I feel stuck or just need inspiration. During the summer months, I read this book. For a person who coaches believers into connecting with their calling, this book was ideal.

I purchased this book thinking that I was going to learn more about praying for my business. Instead, I’ve learned about me, my relationship with God, my relationship with the business and my relationship with others which all combine into learning about my walk with Christ. Am I or am I not committed to God and what He has called me to do?

The simplicity of the daily reading made it easy to absorb, but at times, hard to swallow. There were days the Holy Spirit was leading me to stay on one word for two days, instead of the recommended one word a day. I didn’t feel like I was behind but changed by the moments of reflections during the Prayer Starters that forced me to pray purposefully.

The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur is well worth 31 days of your time. I believe Kim Avery did much praying over this book. It is truly a business persons’ transformation from man’s mindset to applying God’s wisdom.

This book ought not be necessary, but it is. All too often we try to separate our business life from our Christianity, when our business life ought be wrapped within our Christianity. We strive and struggle in business because we try to do it all ourselves when it is God who said to bring our burdens to Him and let Him carry them because He cares for us. Why do we get the idea God doesn't care about our businesses? (BTW, it isn't just business people who need this message! It is applicable to every walk in life. Avery's focus is just on business owners/operators.)

Kim Avery artfully lays out the importance of putting our business life into our prayer life and putting the right priorities on our activities. She does not leave it on a theoretical level, but incorporates prayer prompts and space for the reader to write areas of need for their prayers. Importantly, she does not just give it all to us in one lump sum, but breaks it down into daily segments that can be put into action a day at the time.

I highlighted a number of things that jumped out and grabbed my attention as I read--things that I will want to pay attention to when I reread the book. I'm sharing just a few of them here:

From the very beginning of the book: "I want to warn you that God's invitations often come in difficult disguises." From a lifetime of business, I can assure you this is so true! Those same invitations can be so rich, though difficult.

From a section dealing with making God the CEO of our businesses comes this quote: "God wasn't asking me to stop doing business and replace my daily work with prayer. He was inviting me to run my business through the power of prayer. Once I allowed him to be the CEO of every area of my business, everything changed."

A key scripture: "Thus says the Lord, 'Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows me.'" (Jeremiah 9:23-24 NIV)

These are just three of many points that grabbed me as I read. You will find others as you read this excellent guide to life-changing prayer in a businessperson's life.

If you choose to accept the 31 Day Challenge presented by Kim Avery, weekly, she will very skillfully and carefully guide you to examine your relationships, thoughts, ideas, and to-do lists—as you talk to God. She delicately uncovers every negative thought that you might encounter, that is designed to hinder you from moving forward. You will learn that it is “a good thing, to not be enough; because we know the God who is.”
Daily, you will begin with an enlightening thought, and end with a Promise from God and a Prayer Starter. Every page will not only encourage you to spend time talking with God about the things that matter most…they will also free you from self-reliance and help you to develop a healthy spiritual habit of continual prayer for a lifetime.
The Prayer Powered Entrepreneur is a book that I will keep close at hand and will read more than once.
