I can always count on Kathy Griffith for sexy banter, unique characters, intelligent content, and an ironic eyebrow raised on the lifestyle of people wherever and whenever her pen dips its sassy little nib.

LOVE NOTES is a neat romantic tale tied together by short text notes among four people—a pair of lovers, a close friend of one, and a work associate of the other. Gabriel is a respected American Egyptologist—but he’s also inked, pierced, guy-lined, and gay. He meets a fellow scholar, a Brit named Jarod, whose deep secret lies in a flirty place under his tailored trousers. The secondary characters are Gabe’s friend and confidant Adrian; and Jarod’s close work associate Maria. Together, these four characters put a few new wrinkles in the old Pharaoh’s breech-cloth!

The story is a fast read, but altogether erotic and romantic, and funny too. There are elements of mystery and angst, suspense, and even esoteric snippets of scholarly lore…something for every reader who enjoys a modern romance with more than a few saucy twists and turns along the way.
