This is a paranormal book. The book description was really vague. It was such a different book from what I usually read. It was extremely steamy. I was reading in the pick up line to get my kids and had to look around and make sure no one could see my kindle 😳 Really easy to read also.

Short, fast and seemingly less plot than the Afflicted zodiac. Moon's balance Lilith has been reincarnated as a succubus and sent to Venus' Hogwarts style school. From there its trick the gullible kitsune, have sex with the satyr and mess with the headmaster Chiron. I felt sorry for Chiron. He didn't get the girl last time and now he's stuck dealing with Lilith, who is more out of control than Venus. Its nice to see Saturn and the guys again, but I think I need a break. Its short but very full on.

So much fun! This is another spin-off from The Afflicted Zodiac Series exploring some of the other characters more in-depth and I loved it. This author really knows how to twist a tale for maximum impact and enjoyment.

Do yourself a favor and read this book!
Looking for a fast paced, sexy, and hilarious read? Look no further. Evanescent is filled with the witty, off the wall humor that I loved so much in the Afflicted Zodiac Series. I’m so excited that this is set in the same world. However it most definitely can be read without reading those book, so don’t let that stop you. (Although if you haven’t you should. They’re freaking awesome) Lilith is everything I was hoping she’d be and more and I’m sooooo excited Chiron is getting some spotlight! Before you start this book here’s a list of things you need to do/not do.
1. Do not drink while reading. You’ll spit it everywhere from the constant laughing fits you’ll be having.
2. Grab a fan of some sort because dannnnnng. There’s some seriously sexy scenes.
3. Be prepared for the end. You’re going to be wanting book 2 something fierce!

Laugh out loud funny
I didn’t realize that this was a spin off from this author’s Virgo series at first. So it took me a minute to sort out who exactly the characters were and their significance from the other series. It had been a while since I read it but I quickly remembered once Venus made an appearance.
This book was a little on the short side but had plenty of steam and plenty of funny moments. The forbidden relationship between headmaster and student is always a favorite of mine so I’m glad that was included in this. The twist at the end was not something I was expecting so I’m curious to see what happens in the next book.
This is definitely a fast burn which is understandable since Lilith is a succubus and she also encounters an incubus. I highly recommend this series if you want something to make you laugh.

What can I say other than Marstens has done it again and created another brilliantly hilarious read. Evanescent is an all around fast read and if you loved the Afflicted Zodiac series, it’s a no brained that you’ll love this spinoff. So what are you waiting for?!? Get this book now!

Not the best
I'm not sure how to explain this book, but i will say it wasn't the best. Kind of a bunch of rambling if you ask me, a tad bit silly borderline ridiculous. I'm giving it 3 stars since I found myself laughing a few times, but this is a rushed and unexplained at times story about God knows what.

Another LOL
God this woman is my fresh breath of air. Everytime I'm in a book slump, her books pull me out and having me LoL. And it's always over way to soon.
Amazingly written en hot as can be. Although not needed but reading Virgo Rising series is recommended because of the major players in this storyline, but not neccessary.

Always a good laugh!
What a fantastic start to a series! FMC Lilith is impulsive, sassy and horny AF which could lead to all sorts of fun since she has just been reincarnated into the human world! Engaging, great inttoduction to the characters and funnybtoo! Great read.

This book was the perfect amount of sexy. I laughed hard throughout the entire book. I LOVED this book. Can't wait for the rest of this series. I will definitely be reading more books from M.J. Marstens she is hilarious.

Ok but not my fave
I’ve read the series preceding this and Hammer Time by the same author. I really enjoyed the other books. This one just seems like too much fluff and not enough substance. I am hoping that book 2 will help the series.

Basically, imagine that Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Curse of the Gods had a book baby. That would be this series. It is ridiculously hilarious, but in a fun, unbelievable, yet entertainingly sexy kind of way.

FUCK ME SIDEWAYS AND UPSIDE DOWN.
THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. I LOVED IT TO DEATH WITH ALL THE PUNS FOR CHAPTER TITLES AND THE FUCKING PUNS IN THE BOOK WAS SO FUCKING HILARIOUS. NOT ONLY WAS I READING THIS ON THE BUS BUT I HAD TO KEEP QUIET AND STOP MYSELF FROM MOANING OUT LOUD SO I HAD TO KEEP IT ON THE DL. Hilariously Hot Reverse Harem.
Training supernatural to be more human can be problematic. Training a succubus to be human is just asking for trouble. Lilith is a succubus sent to learn to be more human. She is a quirky badass that decides to cause as much chaos as possible. She teams up with a fellow student to torment the dean. This book is hilarious. It's a book I will come back to when I need a pick me up. Oh and of course like all good books it ends in a cliffhanger.

Light on substance
This is just as over-the-top as the Zahra books. It's light on plot and character development and heavy on jokes. I like it but it's a lot like eating cotton candy. It's good for a few second and then it's gone. I feel like the author just made a Zahra 2.0 to keep writing the same character under a different name. I do recommend it but just don't expect a lot of substance.

This is first time read for me with this author and I was not disappointed. It was funny and kind of fast paced but that maid it all the better for me. It's well written and does leave on a cliffhanger but that makes want to read the next book in this series more. If you haven't read anything by this author I suggest giving it a shot I think you will enjoy it as well. And while I wait for the next book I will definitely be looking at the other books by MJ.

I absolutely loved this book, and can't wait for the next one! This series is still part of the Afflicted Zodiac family, and some of my favorite characters made an appearance. Lillith is the "daughter" of Venus, and she is everything I hoped for. This is a quick, witty and hilarious read, and I can't wait for more!

Talk about laughing in a totally wow book!! I loved this book.. Learning that Venus reaaaaally made that school, seeing poor Chiron going crazy with her antics, meeting lilith and finding she has her mom´s sense of humor... So many great things that I can not choose only one!!! Do not miss this book or you will regret it

The reason for 4 stars is because I’m new to the paranormal worlds. I liked the comedy of the characters . Lilith is a hoot and is sex craved transforming to human life. She meets some guys but one that she thinks more of vanishes for a while but when he returns he finds out something big happen to Lilith and he needs answers . A great read

This is such a great spin-off of the Afflicted Zodiac series. One of my unanswered questions from that series was - what happens to Chiron?! Well, now we find out!
The MC, Lilith, loves to get into the best kind of trouble. It makes for laugh-out-loud moments as well as some seriously hot scenes! I can't wait to see what the next book brings!
