Dear Santa, I know I'm a little too old to be asking for gifts from you, but I've had my eye on something special for quite some time now. Something so close, yet so far away. I don't ask for much, but this--this is something I would love to have under my tree when the sun rises on that snowy Christmas morning. In fact, I believe this is the only thing I've ever asked from you, year after year. I've been nice, I've been good, and if you check that list of yours, you will see I'm telling the truth. I do need you to know, though, if you can't get it for me this time, I WILL get it myself. Sincerely, Me.

A deliciously twisted story! Clay was a good boy all year and good boys deserve to get what they want for Christmas. But sometimes they want something truly extraordinary and when Santa refuses to deliver, they just have to go and get it themselves. I knew something sinister was brewing from the very first chapter, but I never imagined the extent of Clay’s “festive mood” and his resolve to honor his family’s “holiday tradition.” Sick and twisted in the best way, “Xmas” is a perfect choice for all fans of the dark fic genre.

Not my thing at all. I don't particularly like stories of men torturing women and that alone even if it just meant to be creepy. I thought it was just going to be a creepy romance with badly paced writing and a MC that is terrible but the author doesn't notice but I was wrong...

Hmm

Well when I started this short story that is not how I saw it going. That was a twist that surprised me and had me say what the! Haha If you’re looking for a cherry cozy Christmas story this is not it! This is the opposite! If you love mystery and horror this is for you!

Totally went in blind to this book and didn't realize that this was not a happy fun Christmas book. He was giving off creepy vibes from the beginning and I was like, where is this going.

I mistakenly went into this blind thinking it was gonna be a short dark Christmas romance. It was torture porn and only reason I kept reading was I was thinking it would end with him getting caught.

It's gonna be a yikes for me.
