Loads of practical exercises which if you practice work. Love the science to back it up and simplicity of writing style.

We've all felt it -- that feeling that at any minute someone is going to figure out that we're faking it. Imposter Syndrome is real.

In her book, Josa explains the science behind IS, how our brains and the neurochemicals can play tricks on us. It's actually comforting to know that much of our behavior comes from our caveman days.

Where this book excels is in the practical exercises to help understand yourself better and to remove the masks you've acquired to hide from IS.

This is a little on the long side. I feel it could have used a bit more editing so the arguments were more succinct. But overall it's an immensely informative and illuminating work that everyone should read.

Exactly what I hoped for, and needed

What a wonderful book indeed! Practical, but with enough theory to help you understand why the steps work. Holistic, without becoming overly esoteric. Awesome, in a very understated British way. One of the best self-help books I’ve read. Helped me tie together The Miracle Morning, Atomic Habits, Getting Things Done, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by helping me become who I need to be to really make use of those books.
