This was a combination of in-your-face sexual experimentation, surprising self-discovery for both of the main characters, and a plotline that touched on the morals and ethics of our political players.

Sawyer Bennett has the "chops" to write almost anything well. The idea of an intense erotic series with a sex club as a location and all of the characters being part of it one way or another was handled with her guidance and skill. She did not dance around from explicit descriptions or fantasies... no, she dived right in. This was full of serious interaction between all of the sexes with at times many partners.

The blurb is right-on in the description. Our main gal Sloane is working for a Washington DC political magazine hell-bent on digging up dirt from a lead. There could be a Governor who has ties to a sex club in Wyoming and his daughter may be the link. The goal is to research the club, daughter, governor, or all of the above. She just needs to figure out a way in. She goes to Wyoming, gets a job, and starts hanging out at the Wicked Horse. Spotting the hunky Security Guy, she figures out a way to attract him and use his connections to discover the information she needs about the sex club.

Cain is the target and what a vision... all women want to play with him and are very willing to take what they can get from him. His looks border on the mean and brooding coupled with the bit of handsome too. As an Ex-Marine, the body is beyond fantasy and his equipment has its own well-deserved reputation. Although he is the head of security at the bar and club, he also works the ranch and does "fantasy work"...

Yes, I said Fantasy Work...because with the membership of this secret sex club...All your fantasies can come true... as long as all the participants are willing, consensual, and of age. Cain takes on the Fantasy work because the bonuses are tied to members requesting and wanting repeat experiences...Cain as part of the perks of his Security work...has his own full membership and getting off while participating in one of these scenes does the same trick as him just getting off with one of his many admirers... so it is no harm no foul and he can use the extra bonuses.

We are given these two people... both with hidden agendas and secrets... and we have the fun of each point of view and a front-row seat to their emotional and sexual awakenings for both.

So, you may be asking yourself... When the hell is she going to get to the good stuff... and is there any in this book...

Hell yeah, there is...I am talking about stuff that might surprise some of the Sawyer Bennett readers but not the Tiffany Reitz readers. Bennett rolls her sleeves up and gets down with the sex club agenda...like a duck taking to water...It is detailed, explicit...and all you could want - no judgments.

This series is just ramping up. It has multiple characters who will make you want more... like a book for them more... and Bennett has already planted many a seed. Look for more coming soon...no pun intended.. :DDD

Cain is the head of security at Wicked Horse as does a bit of work at Double J he needs as much money as poss cause his Ex left with so much debt an was actually a total bitch so Cain asnt had a been in a relationship since he as slept with a lot of woman an he actually does care where he takes them but he never takes them home an he never sleeps with them more than once but he as had his eye on a stunning blonde that's caught his eye over a few nites when he sees her she never looks away she keeps eye contact but he won't do anything once he's workin so when he gets his nite off he wants a piece of this blonde there is something that draws her to him



Sloan is working undercover she has heard that Governor Hayes as something to do with a sexy club an this is what as lead her to the Wicked Horse she as heard from her source that three is a Silo that is a sex club so she needs to get close to someone an she sets her eyes on Cain the security guard he is so hot an sexy an as heard so good rumours about his package an how he uses it this is just a plus to the job she is doin but after a serious hot sex session with Cain she is hopin for more but she now's she is bein untrustworthy but he comes back wantin more which she wanted but who is goin to get hurt



I really enjoyed this Wicked Fall was a hard book to follow I luvd it but have to say this was really good an just as good Cain is 1 sexy beast I really luv his character he did mess up but he's a man they al do ;) his kinky side is super hot this book is full of hot sex in loads of different ways it's just smoking I think I needed a few cold showers while readin it haha but the story was good I luvd how Cain got over his Ex an found that he could trust Sloan an I have to say Sloan put herself in situations were she had to trust Cain with a lot it was great to see how he couldn't get enough of her an her him to



I can't wait for more of this series it's 1 of my fave I 've luvd al of Sawyer Bennett books there so good but I m these to books had just been great from the story to the sexy time the characters r just brilliant but I m gutted Bridgers books isn't next I m just dyin for his book I know it's goin to super sexy I m not sayin I m not dyin for Rands book cause after the epilogue I so am but there is something about Bridger that's just so sexy an the way he had to give Cain a bit of a kick up the ass an the way he looks after Sloan just made me luv him more

However the secrets they harbor aren’t going away no matter how much they get caught up in their combustible chemistry, can their hearts overcome them?

I started this book cautiously detached after getting a first person account of Cain’s more interesting job duties. I was a lot shocked and little bit disturbed while reading the epilogue for Wicked Fall (book #1 in the Wicked Horse series) when Cain is requested as a fantasy maker to act out a decidedly violent fantasy for a couple celebrating a wedding anniversary.

This not only pushed my limits it also made me doubt I could like reading about a man that willingly made this a part of his life and reveled in it. I’m sorry I judged... to each his own, consenting adults and all that. The good news is that I’ve also read a lot of Sawyer Bennett books, loved all of them and know she always delivers an engaging, smooth flowing , fast paced story with wonderful characters and I’m really glad a jumped into Cain and Sloane’s book.

Besides the incredibly well executed eroticism and suspenseful story, I liked the witty banter between Cain and Sloan and how their relationship flourished. He pushed and she pushed right back. I also really enjoyed how they helped each other in their mutual emotional and sexual self-discovery.

It’s really appealing when writers fully commit to the genre they’re writing. Sawyer Bennett knows how to write sexy on a normal basis, and these erotic novels are scorching hot. I love that she doesn’t shy away from writing debased kinky fuckery in her erotic romances most likely knowing she’s going to surprise more than a few readers.

While the story was bookended with a brow raising prologue and an introduction to the next couple in the series in the epilogue (as opposed to a hearts and flowers with the current hero and heroine) I can’t wait to read her next story in this series and the build up to read about the decidedly intriguing Bridger is making me feel his story will be of epic proportions.

Wicked Lust is the second book in the Wicked Horse series by Sawyer Bennett. It is a standalone, full-length, erotic romance filled with wickedly hot explicit scenes (female with multiple male partners, voyeurism, exhibitionism), and sweet tender moments. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending.

Cain Bonham is pure sex on a stick. Sinfully delicious & the head of security at the Wicked Horse. A former Marine with a lot of debt to pay off, Cain also works two part-time jobs at the Double J Ranch & at the Silo, the private sex club on the Double J's property. At the Silo he often plays in fantasies & helps to protect the secrecy of the club.



Cain finds himself looking for a stunning blonde woman each night at work. She caught his eye & he can't get her out of his mind. He usually doesn't take such an interest in any one woman, but can't quit lusting over this one. He has no clue she has a personal agenda, & hooks up with her. He quickly becomes addicted to her, & Sloane finds herself obsessed with a man that is completely out of her comfort zone. She is excited by him & everything he does to her body, but suddenly she is having feelings for Cain.



They develop an intense bond & connection neither can deny. All the sudden trying to gain information for her career takes a back seat to feelings for Cain. As she's immersed into his kinky world & also his heart, she just wants more. He's crazy about her to, but when he finds out her ulterior motives we get some angst & drama. I really loved this book! It was on fire hot & omg please please give Bridger a book next! I need some Bridger!!! :D



-My lust for Sloane is centered on this burning desire to show her all the depraved things that can make her feel so good.

-I cannot wait to show her my world and maybe dirty her up a bit.

-"This is so different from anything I've had before. I want more of it, and I'll do what it takes to keep it."

That's what this book will do for you, then surely it make you horny, because it describes some of the boldest and most dirty and naughty fantasies that you can think of, ever. So hot, so intense, so sinful.

About the plot: Sloane Preston is a reporter of Revealed magazine, who came to Jackson as undercover to discover the link between sex club to the Governor Hayes. For her, it's not just a job but a form of revenge against the unscrupulous politicians. She hangs out in The Wicked Horse bar and looking for a way to uncover hidden the sex club. She observes handsome Cain Bonham, the head of security in The Wicked Horse. And though she convinced herself that this is just a job, wouldn't mind to spend with him a hot nights. So will do everything to drew his attention.

Cain notices sweet blond woman on the first day. When he decided to make a move, is ready to pass another girl. But the mysterious Sloane intrigued him, and he can not help but to come back for more and get dirty a little bit of her innocence. Hot and naughty nights turn into feelings that will be destroyed when the trust is lost.

“You have the softest lips. I’ve wanted to kiss them all night, but I got too caught up in the need to fuck you.”

Final thoughts: I'm not sure whether in a book like this any morality exists. One big debauchery without taboos. And I enjoy it completely. If you are looking of sweet romance, it certainly is not the book for you. Be sure it's erotica in full swing. A lot of different kinds of scenes, it can often be even disturbing. And if I thought about the story, it is interesting, but still predictable. But it goes well with all the sensual scenes and adds emotions to the book. In this way, is not only jump from hot scene to even hotter. Secrets and growing feelings always give an explosive mixture at the end. But I do not think you will be fully able to enjoy this book if so large dose of eroticism surpasses you. For my horny girlfriends I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

I'm not sure if this can be read as a standalone. Probably yes, but still I would recommend reading one after the other. You firstly get to know the characters and their history from the first part, and secondly the plot of this part follows from that what has happened in the Wicked Fall. Besides, Mrs. Sawyer Bennett writes really good books, so it will not be lost time.

Ms. Bennett seriously wrote one wickedly sexy erotic BDSM that will leave you combusting at your seams and having your lady bits dripping wet. So if you like your books naughty, wicked, dirty, and scorching hot then prepare yourself for Cain Bonham, because this man will fulfill and grant your wicked fantasies.



Fantasies. I'm talking sexual fantasies because Cain Bonham is not only head of security at the Silo of the Wicked Horse but he is also a fantasy maker. So whatever your dirty fantasy might be, he will grant them. Of course, he has some few exceptions but everything else is fair game. Cain is the quintessential bad boy who LOVES his KINK.

All I got to say is Wicked Lust was SCORCHING HOT!!!! Well more like a blazing inferno!!! It was naughty, kinky, sinful, dirty and steamy. It is definitely a book that you won't want to put down. While this book has LOTS OF SEX, Ms. Bennett didn't lose site of the main storyline of Cain and Sloane. She was able to showcase character growth of both Cain and Sloane. We get to see a whole new side to their characters as they discover this uncharted territory of love. Also, we get to see Sloane explore her sexual fantasy and experiment new pleasures. While this is not your standard romance of hearts and flowers, the love and attraction that Sloane and Cain had for each other is just as deep and tangible as any couple. They just happen to have a VERY STRONG sexual appetite and kink.

As always, Ms. Bennett never fails to deliver a HOT book!!! As one of my favorite authors, she has definitely has me coming back for more and devouring all her books in one sitting with her wicked and gorgeous prose. So if you are in the mood to read an extra HOT, kinky, and dirty erotica then I highly recommend you to check out Wicked Lust. All I know is that I can't wait for Rand's story.

What to say ? Oh my… Sawyer you sure upscales the steam with the Wicked series ! Talking about hot and sizzling attraction ! Cain & Sloane are two hot pieces ! They are ON and UNDER each other pratically all the time !!





I knew the Wicked series would be different from what Sawyer Bennett had already wrote. She showed us what she was capable of in her others books but here it’s another level. The fact the main action is happening in a sex club is of course a huge insentive.

Here we have Cain who’s the head of the security for The Wicked Horse, a bar and who’s got his entry in the sex club, The Silo which is next door. He’s also what he calls a Fantasy Maker meaning he participate in fantasies that others have.
It’s been several days that he caught the eyes of a blond girl seating at the bar but as he’s pretty strict, he separates his private job from his job.

Sloane will have to wait for him to get time off to grab his attention… From there, their attraction is out of control and the sex is off the chart !!!

“Sorry, babe. But God gifted us women with the ability to have multiple orgasms, and I’m not about to waste that gift.”



They goes at it like bunnies ! And you know what it never gets boring. The author knows how to write sex, dirty sex that will leave you horny. She exceed herself scenes after scenes. If you thought the threesome scene in Wicked Fall was hot, wait for the fourthsome there’s in here ! Yep I said it, there’s a fourthsome



But I can’t summarize Wicked Lust with just the steam level because what’s good and what I lack with Wicked Fall was the story behind and the connection both characters have.
While Cain is only attracted to Sloane, she is not a damsel in detress. She has a real purpose in connecting with him. She has a mission, one she wants to accomplish.
But things start to be more complicated when feelings interfere in the situation.

I loved the fact this story was absolutely drama free ! They are no bitter surprise. Cain&Sloane are two consenting adults, they both acts from their action especially Sloane, she can be sweet and loving but she is though and she doesn’t look for an excuse with what she does.

Their relation grows quickly but it’s believable. Cain doesn’t look for something to last but he can’t deny his interest for a girl who rocks his world. The development of both characters is done marvellously. We have all the information we need to make their relationship works for us as readers.

This feeling… like my world is tilting just a little and I’m venturing into unchartered territory—it feels almost dangerous… it all makes me feel alive. She puts me off balance in a good way, and I like this feeling.

Once again this book is a huge tease for Bridger ! OMG when will I get this man and his story ? I was already convinced in book one but one more time we get to discover side of him I only want to know more about. The guy is totally wicked, naughty, filtthy and I want his story asap !

Unfortunately since the epilogue is not about him I guess I’ll have to wait. But I’m more than happy to know that Sawyer Bennett has other books in this series because characters like Logan or Rand are without a doubt man I want too. Can I hope for an M/M scene in the next book ?

Sloane, an undercover reporter, got a tip that Governor Hayes is involved in an underground sex club and is sent to find out the true story. Her plan is to get close to Cain, the head of security at the Wicked Horse, hoping that he knows something about the club.

Cain is not only the security guy at The Wicked Horse, he's also a "fantasy makes" for The Silo, the underground club his buddy Bridger owns. He doesn't have time for relationships and is only looking for one night from women. But when he see's a girl kick some guy in the crotch for touching her on the dance floor of the bar, everything changes. Sloane makes him want more than one night, but they both have secrets that may ruin everything.

I loved Cain so much! He was so sexy and adventurous, and his character definitely did it for me ;) I loved how much of a workaholic he was and took responsibility for something that wasn't even his fault. Did I mention sexy? Ugh I can't get over how dirty he was in this book. This series is turning out to be one of my favorites of Sawyer Bennett's because of how out there it is, sexy wise. I'm loving the fantasies that are shown and am dying to see what else SB can come up.


Sloane had a hard job of trying to find something she can report on and at the same time try to keep her emotions in check. But Cain is a hard guy to ignore and soon her job was the last thing on her mind. The ending of this book is really what made me love Sloane's character and I had nothing but respect for her once she made her decision. I really liked how open she was and was willing to try anything Cain asked her to.



Overall, I absolutely loved this story and I already want to go back and re-read it. It was a little frustrating that Cain was so stubborn at the end but that didn't make me stop loving him at all. “Wicked Lust” is the second book in the “The Wicked Horse” series. I haven’t read the first book yet and have to solve that real soon!

I won’t reveal too much in this review. The story is about a young woman acting on her own personal situation, wanting to bring down corrupt politicians for the political magazine she works for. This was just supposed to be a job… infiltrate a secret sex club, connect it to a governor and write a story. Now she has to make a difficult decision! She never thought to get feelings for hot, kinky Cain. She has a beautiful friendship to lose? She has to think about her mother’s sanity. No matter what she decides, people will get hurt and she has a lot to lose.

The author warns us that this series is different than her other books. This series has sex, lots of sex … dirty sex! I’m rather open minded in what I read and I do love ‘kinky fuckery’ in books. The author did a terrific job! I loved this sexy ride…

I also loved her writing style, character development and secondary characters.

What I missed a little was an epilogue for Cain and Sloane. Their story ends to soon. But I guess they’ll pop up in the next book so I’m adding that one to my TBR list as soon as it’s available on Goodreads ;-)

The epilogue we do get in the book is for 2 characters which we already read about in this one: Rand & Catherine. I suppose the third book in this series will be their story and I’m looking forward to it and hope we’ll get some Cain & Sloane in it too… I also hope to someday read Bridger’s story!

After reading that prologue I could not wait to get back to The Wicked Horse / The Silo to get to know Cain Bonham the head of security and fantasy maker much better.

Sloane Preston has come to Wyoming with an agenda to uncover the truth about a dirty politician and find out more about the sex club. She has been spending her nights at The Wicked Horse catching the eye of a certain scary/sexy Cain she thinks he is her in into the sex club.

One night something happens and they get to spend some time together and they are soon tearing each other's clothes off. The sex and kinky fuckery between these two is SCORCHING Cain is bossy and Sloane is not shy she'll try anything Cain wants to do with her or to her as Sloane discovers when Cain makes her fantasy come true (glad I was home while I read that).

Even though this started out as just great sex what will happen when Sloane starts to care for Cain and her new friends will she be able to betray them? While reading this I could not wait for the truths to be revealed I was dying to know how they would come out, what the fallout would be and how this sexy couple would get their HEA.

I loved that we get more Bridger and that he is always involved in the fantasies I bet Sawyer is going to make us wait until the last book in The WIcked Horse series for his story.

As always with Sawyer Bennet Wicked Lust was full of great characters, lots and lots of dirty hot sex, romance and some suspense thrown in, Sawyer cannot do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.

Man oh man oh man...I just don't know where to begin or what to say! I finished this 10 days ago and I'm still at a loss for words...

Sawyer Bennett is one of my must-read/can't miss authors. I will read anything she writes. She writes hot contemporaries and sports romances like no other. She could probably set an historical romance on its ear if she tried, and no doubt could do the same with a paranormal. But with an erotic romance? I think that's where she excels like so few have. So many erotic romances are all about the sex scene, and leave the romance and story behind. But not Ms. Bennett. She lets it all hang out with the sex scenes, but she also has the knack of including a good story with it, and fully develops her characters so that you feel something for them! And that is what she did with Wicked Lust.

The plot centers around writer Sloane Preston trying to get the scoop on what's going on at the Wicked Horse, a bar/nightclub and rumored sex club. She's got a hot tip that links the sex club to a governor by way of his daughter, and for personal reasons of her own (as well as professional reasons) she wants to break this story. But in order to find out about the secret sex club, she needs an 'in'. And she targets her 'in' as hunky ex-marine/head of security for the WH, Cain Bonham.

Oh wow, Cain....hard to describe him. Let's say he enjoys his job and its perks (a free membership to the sex club out back--The Silo) verrry much, and puts his over-endowment to good use. He notices Sloane (who is undercover as a retail clerk in town) almost immediately, as her pickup line/actions are quite unique. Of course they carry on a no-strings affair, with each using the other (this didn't always sit well with me.) Cain encourages Sloane's wicked fantasies including a 4 way menage with the most interesting character in this series _Bridger!) that had to be the first that Sawyer Bennett has ever written. Mighty steamy and not for the faint of heart.

Now, the question is--are these two going to fall for each other? And if that happens, what is more important to Sloane--getting the scoop, or protecting the man she has feelings for? if the truth comes out, is their any hope for these two? Oh my...

This has to be SB's steamiest book to date. But what I love about her is that she doesn't forget about the story. And developing her characters. I grew to love both Cain and Sloane, even though at the beginning of the story I found them a bit sleazy (in different ways, of course). SB gives plenty of background info so you can understand why her characters act the way they do. And of course you're pulling for them when their relationship hits a huge bump in the road. And didn't I love it when Bridger tried to help them along...god, I want to read his book now!

Now be warned, if you've only read this author's contemporaries (which are plenty hot themselves), this series is even hotter. She just about throws everything but the kitchen sink in it! So if reading about an over-endowed, dirty talking , over sexed hero and his equally lusty heroine is not your cuppa, them maybe this book isn't for you. But if you think you can handle it? Enjoy! It really is a kinky good time! 5 stars

Sawyer Bennett knows how to start a fire and it's with sex, sex and more hot sex. Cain Bonham is head of security at The Wicked Horse and The Silo. He is also part of the "Fantasy Team" and he will definitely make your wildest dreams come true. His life is work and hookups- serious isn't something he is looking for. Sloane Meyers appears at The Wicked Horse with an agenda- to meet Cain and use him however she needs in order to get the story she needs for work. She is a reporter for a political magazine. But what happens when using someone and having feelings for that person gets tangled together?

This story is wickedly sexy- no ifs ands or butts!!!! Sloane and Cain are physically attracted to one another and definitely have a connection. But her secrets threaten to ruin that connection. The story plays out with no extra drama. The risks and consequences are stated and played out as expected.

But I must warn you, there is sex and lots of it. Sloane and Cain don't shy away from sex. There is also a scene when Cain executes Sloane's fantasy a foursome that is wickedly sexy and hot hot hot. Wicked Lust is sexy entertainment all the way around!!

The epilogue reveals who the next book will be about. While I'm dying for Bridger's book, I think the story line coming up will be quite interesting and of course off the chart sexy.

I would recommend reading Wicked Fall first. I liked going into this story line knowing how all the characters are related. It makes the read that much more enjoyable.

Holy moly, this is by far Sawyer Bennett’s sexiest, dirtiest book yet. I am so impressed with her ability to deliver her signature fun love story, with lots of sexy times.

Cain is immediately drawn to the sexy blonde who shows up every night to the Wicked Horse. She has this innocent look about her, but always seems to find him and meet his eyes. Cain is also employed at The Silo, the secret sex club attached the Wicked Horse. He is known for his assets and ability to please women. So when I say Cain is drawn to the sexy blonde, Sloane, he is only looking for sex.



Sloane works for a magazine in DC and is in town as uncovered reporter. She was brought in to uncover Governor Hayes and any possible connections he has to the sex club. She decides to use Cain as her way in. So she is completely okay with the fact he is only after one thing, because she is too.

Cain and Sloane have this incredible sexual chemistry and eventually begin feeling more for each other. However, they have so much to overcome since their entire relationship or time together has been built on lies.



I so enjoyed the sexy aspects of the story, because believe me it was so hot. I also really enjoyed the plot and story. I liked seeing the characters develop and reveal their pasts. I liked how they both found something they were looking for in the other. My only issue is I wish there was more time for them together after everything is revealed and an epilogue. The thing I love about this series is that I know I will get to see Sloane and Cain in Rand’s book, coming next!

We all remember Cain from the first book. He's the head of security for Woolfe & Bridger's Bar THE WICKED HORSE - and their accompanying sex-club THE SILO.

I really loved Cain's story.
He's this very sexual, former soldier. All kinky and hot and scarred - a total ladies man.
And that's how he always wanted it - but now that he met Sloane - everything he always thought he wanted, doesn't seem so great anymore.
Could this tough guy become a one-woman-man over night???
It's really adorable to see Cain fall for Sloane.
But there's always her being a reporter hanging in the background, that makes us feel sorry for Cain, and for Sloane too, because we know that it won't be nice, once Cain finds out....

I really enjoyed the story - lots of extremely erotic and funny and cute and sad moments!!!
I couldn't put it down!

Apparently I'm one in 158 because literally the only reason I finished this was because i got it as an ARC from netgalley. I knew from the first few chapters that I wasn't going to enjoy this but I thought an author kind enough to provide an ARC she deserved a full read through but this was a constant struggle. I didn't like either character terribly much. I found the hero to be overly crude (even for a former Marine) and I found his lack of class to be really unappealing. Fucking random girls in alleyways, sneaking out so he didn't have to man up and own his sleaziness, making appointments to essentially be a male prostitute while he has real feelings for the heroine. All just gross and not appealing in a heroine. Then there's the way he basically physically abuses her when he finds out her secret. I don't care how made you are because she lied and especially when you have that kind of strength you should never put your hand on a woman in anger. I found it disgusting that a woman could write something like that, even have him tell us he doesn't care if he bruises her, and I don't understand how we could be expected to just get over that and I don't think he ever actually apologized for that. The heroine was conniving and a liar and a user. She had an attack of conscience that redeems her but she caved to blackmail which sort of negates that. Then she takes the hero back despite his treatment of her with little more than an "oops my bad" and even tries to take the blame for his manhandling of her. Add that to the fact that she definitely slept her way into the story and I had 0 respect for her. So the romance didn't really do much for me. The sex scenes were hot at times but then there were things like his penis being the size of salami....huh?! Why would that be an appealing thing. First of all, I don't think even porn stars are that size I think that's not even humanly possible. Second, no normal girl could fit a penis the size of hard salami into her vagina...it just wouldn't work no matter how much lube you used that's gonna be really uncomfortable if not painful. There was also the matter of having absolutely no care for the heroine in the first sex scene. He ties her up not caring about her discomfort, gives her no safe word options, then shoves into her and actually actively thrusts before making sure she's ok impaled on his salami dick even tells us "Did I hurt her? Do I care?" Ummm that's not ok. She tries to rehab it by giving them a safe word in the group sex scene but by then the damage is done. Some parts definitely were a turn on for me but there was usually something in every scene that took me out of the moment. The writing also didn't do much for me. There was nothing actively wrong with it but there was often awkward word/sentence choices...things that were just oddly phrased.

Bottom line: I don't know what everyone else saw in this book but I really can't find anything redeeming about it. I'm having really bad luck with ARC's lately.

This is what I expected from Wolffe in the first book. Cain was hot, hot, hot. And he had a fabulous journey from Fantasy Maker to Sloane's man. I love that Sloane never made excuses for what she did. The two of them were smoking together.

There are a lot of great secondary characters whose HEAs I can't wait to read. I really can't wait for Bridger's.

As always Sawyer Bennett provides a not too angsty but hot read.

Meet Cain, who works at the bar The Wicked Horse and its sex club The Silo as chief of security. He is scarred from his past but not too damaged to make this a dark read. He also has a loving family. He does, however, hold a mean grudge. And he is a fantasy maker at the sex club.

Sloane is a beautiful, sweet heroine with a heart of gold. She's the daughter of a politician who left his wife for a younger model, taking tax money to be a beach bum. Sloane works as a journalist for a magazine in DC, her boss sends her to Wyoming to uncover whether Callie's dad (we met her in the first book), a politician, is involved in the sex club The Silo run by Bridger (who we also were introduced to in the previous installment).

When these two completely different people meet we learn that Cain doesn't do repeats. He's a wham-bam-thank you-ma'am kind of guy but when he runs into Sloane in the bar he is intrigued by her innocence and curiosity to try new things between the sheets.

The flow of the story was lovely, the sex way hot, the way Cain treated Sloane most of the time was sweet. Altogether I loved the explosive chemistry of those two. My only problem is with the ending of the story. It felt rushed. I thought that Cain held onto his grudge too long. I wanted to kick him in his shins, pull his hair and tell him to get a grip. When he actually came around he didn't have to grovel for long. Yes, Sloane has a heart of gold but in the end she just welcomed him back into her life without so much as a short flare of temper. We also get to see more of Bridger who, I'm pretty sure, will break my heart with his story.

Again, another Sawyer Bennett winner for me, she really knows how to drag you out of a book hangover!

First of all, if you liked Wicked Fall, you will love Wicked Lust. It has a lot of the same elements--just kicked up a notch. More heat, more intensity, more suspense.

I really enjoyed Cain and Sloane’s story. Knowing that Sloane is an undercover reporter added a layer of tension to the book, from the very first page. What was unexpected, however, was the immediate connection she has with Cain. Yes, she would like to use him as a means to an end to get the juicy story, but her heart gets caught up along the way. I was totally sucked into their story and had to know what was going to happen between them.

What happens is a ton of sexual exploration, which equals a LOT of steamy sex scenes. Sloane puts off a sweet, innocent vibe, which draws Cain to her like a moth to a flame. While she may be sweet, she definitely has an adventurous streak a mile wide, which only turns Cain on even more.

Both Cain and Sloane have past heartbreaks that guide their budding relationship, but I enjoyed watching them work through their hang-ups and grow closer throughout the story. Sloane also suffers from a guilty conscience through most of the book (which, honestly, gave me whiplash a couple of times).

Bridger is once again a major feature in Wicked Lust, much like Wicked Fall. I can’t wait for his story, but I know that his isn’t the next in the series. Apparently, Sawyer Bennett is all about delayed gratification!

So, if you like your erotica with a little suspense, a little angst, and a lot of kink, Wicked Lust is right up your alley. I know I enjoyed it.

HOLY SMOKES!!! The disclaimer is no joke, take heed, I tell ya! *grins*

As I started reading this, I wanna say that I was worried. I’m not a big fan of relationships starting out with lies, which was pretty much had to happen here considering Sloane’s purpose. Those were points taken away already for Sloane, especially considering how Cain is. But I should’ve known better. This is Sawyer after all. I’ve loved her Cold Fury series, and 1 from her Legal Affairs series, so I shoulda known to just trust Sawyer’s writing.

Regardless of Sloane’s original intent, there is no denying the heat between these 2. And considering where Cain works and what he’s into… holy suuuwweeet smokin’ times!!! Some of them are even outside my comfort zone but did you think I cared? Of course not! HAH!

Cain owned his lifestyle, and gotta love him for that! He only has Sloane’s welfare in mind from the start. And I understood where he’s coming from, even at the end when things were revealed. I love how disconcerted he was by his inexplicable pull towards Sloane then seeing him reconciling all the warring feelings in his head. Sloane, as mentioned earlier, was on a disadvantage as far as I was concerned. I couldn’t muster enough sympathy at first so it did feel weird in the beginning, but sure enough, I slowly got it. By the end, I was rooting for her, cheering her on to get what she deserves.

So at the end of the day, I got a sizzling read that’s about self-discovery, acceptance and forgiveness.

I see Rand’s story is coming up next. Just like in the 1st book, the epilogue here is to give introduction to the next book in the series so we got a glimpse of what we’re in for with Rand’s story.

Lastly, I know I’m not alone when I ask when is Bridger’s story coming, Sawyer?!?! Just wondering, that’s all…

Oh, my.

This series pushes my boundaries in ways that are kind of awesome. I mean, I’m no prude. It’s just …usually I like my books heavy on the swoon and lighter on the gratuitous sex (although I like the sex to be hot as hell when it does show up). Sawyer Bennett is showing me that I can absolutely become emotionally invested in a series about a kinky as hell sex club. Even when I might sometimes be exposed to things that are not my personal favorite kinks? It’s still…kink. And it’s still sexy. And somehow, magically, Ms. Bennett also makes it emotional.

Cain is the head of security at the Wicked Horse—he takes his job very seriously. He’s all cold calculating eyes, scary looking scar, and looming, threatening muscle. So, basically, he ticks all my lust boxes. When Sloane starts turning up every night at the bar, she immediately catches Cain’s eye, but it isn’t until she slugs a potential suitor that Cain knows he’s found someone interesting. He’s not looking for a relationship, by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s more than interested in playing with the little firecracker who fell into his lap.

Sloane is on a mission—she’s a journalist looking to uncover some dirt on the Wicked Horse. She deliberately reels Cain in to get her inside scoop, but she didn’t expect that she’d find him so compelling. As Cain begins letting his walls down for Sloane, she’s drawn deeper and deeper into the emotional side of things and into his kink-filled world. As their relationship deepens and expands beyond fantasy fulfillment and mind-blowing sex, the secrets get harder to keep and the damage they may do intensifies in its potential for destruction.

This was an interesting book for me. I LIKED it. My heart was all over the place, and my panties—well, let’s just say things did not end well for my panties. However, I had a really hard time with Sloane. I feel like I never really warmed up to her, never really connected to her and sometimes actively hated her. My heart warmed to the romance and the way Sloane and Cain interacted with each other, and there were moments where I felt bursts of affinity towards her, but overall she was a tough pill for me to swallow.

I also struggled sometimes with the authenticity of their relationship. Built on a foundation of lies, it was tough for me to really invest knowing that it was all going to Hell. It sometimes felt almost clinical to me and, while I appreciated the sexiness factor, I didn’t always connect emotionally.

That said, there were times when I completely connected. My heart took the rollercoaster ride as the conflict came to a head. My heart hurt for both Sloane and Cain while they fumbled through their heartbreak and regrets. I loved their story together—how they played and experimented and defined the nature of their sexual relationship on their own terms. And let’s be clear, they are scorching hot together. Like, skip the panties (or they shall suffer the same fate as mine did) hot. Like, stock up on batteries hot. It’s no joke, the heat they bring. And in the end, that heat crept over the emotional divide I felt, and my heart was fully invested in their story.

I’m so excited to get Rand’s story and God, I’m chomping at the bit to finally get a look at what makes Bridger tick. Against all odds, my heart is wrapping itself firmly around all these sexual deviants and—I think—that probably makes me a little deviant too. That being the case, it should come as no surprise that I cannot WAIT for more of this series! ~ Shelly, 4 stars

Mmm hmm, dirty times with Cain Bonham. "Kinky fuckery" and delicious sex. Add in a touch of Sawyer Bennett's signature humor and an insightful and dominant cowboy, and you've got a recipe for success.

Well, this book was freaking hot. H. O. T. I'm still attempting to cool down from it--and I finished it a couple of days ago. Cain and Sloane certainly know how to melt one's kindle, with a generous assist from the fine folk at The Silo, of course.

This one starts with a bang. Quite literally, we get introduced to Cain's kinky world and it sets the tone for the rest of Wicked Lust. And wicked it is. This cowboy/head of security/sweet son is super fine. It's very easy to see why Sloane would be so taken with him. Scarred, sexy and with a kinky side, he's a fantasy come to life in the pages of a book. Too bad he's not a fantasy come to REAL life.

Sloane, on the other hand, was not so much of a fantasy--at least, not for me. I truly struggled to connect with this woman, and found myself frustrated and irritated with her repeatedly. Perhaps it's because I have family members in journalism--and grew up hearing their annoyance with the 'will do anything for a story' stereotype--or maybe just because insight into her past came a little too late for me to feel sympathy for her plight, but Sloane came across as lacking backbone and a moral compass. Her quest to bring down people possibly connected with The Silo was, to my mind, tenuous and I was mentally encouraging her to not just think about setting aside but actually DOING it. And while she redeemed herself by book's end, I couldn't help but think Cain deserved a little more. And that she got off very lightly.

Frustrations with our leading lady aside, I was otherwise completely charmed by this book, as I always am by this author. She has a gift for making dirty worlds come to life, and for making panties melt with her oh, oh, oh, so hot sex scenes. With the third book in the series set-up with fun intrigue, I'll definitely be back at The Wicked Horse, its secret sex club and "kinky fuckery" ASAP. ~ Beth, 4 stars

Cain’s personality wasn’t the most pleasant and Sloane was a bit of a whiny doormat. I liked them better together, and their sexy scenes were pretty hot, but it kept me wanting more. We all remember Cain from the first book. He's the head of security for Woolfe & Bridger's Bar THE WICKED HORSE - and their accompanying sex-club THE SILO.

I really loved Cain's story.
He's this very sexual, former soldier. All kinky and hot and scarred - a total ladies man.
And that's how he always wanted it - but now that he met Sloane - everything he always thought he wanted, doesn't seem so great anymore.
Could this tough guy become a one-woman-man over night???
It's really adorable to see Cain fall for Sloane.
But there's always her being a reporter hanging in the background, that makes us feel sorry for Cain, and for Sloane too, because we know that it won't be nice, once Cain finds out....

I really enjoyed the story - lots of extremely erotic and funny and cute and sad moments!!!
I couldn't put it down!

This is the story of Cain and Sloane. The prologue of this book is actually the epilogue of the previous one and it was a great idea. The plot is quite straightforward without any twists or surprises. The story moves in a good pace. However there are quite few inconsistencies that were quite annoying for me and there are the reason that I had to take stars out of my review.

The problem wasn't that for example although no money were exchanged in The Silo for legal reasons (not even for drinks and definetely no tips were given), Cain does it as if it's ok. The problem was that the book felt rushed to me. It was like Ms. Bennett wanted to reach to a point and she didn't think through the details. It felt like it didn't matter if the heroes had already lunch but because something had to happen, Sloane had to cook again. It mattered to me because it confused me. I thought that I've read it wrongly. It also annoyed me that Sloane changed her way of acting for drastically within a couple of pages. Also her thoughts were not consecutive. Sloane was angry with Cain regarding the fantasy of Amy and she thought that he didn't respect his promise to her, she won't protect him and go forward with her story. And then, I read that she had already written her letters before this event!!!!! It doesn't make sense!

This isn't the first book I read of Ms. Bennett and I was quite surprised that it wasn't so carefully thought and there wasn't so much attention paid in the details.

Sloane has a mission and she goes for it! I didn't really like her until the very end that she said the truth. I have an issue with liars and with double standards and Sloane had both.

Cain is a nice hero! Although he was stubborn, he was quite honest and straight forward about everything. I liked him for it.

Althought their interactions were steamy and intense and I really liked them, this is a book and it is supposed to say a story and the story wasn't said as it should have been.

The end felt a bit rushed as well. I was happy that it took some effort for everything to be resolved but the end was kind of fast. The story had an epilogue that had nothing to do with Cain and Sloane, but it's probably the prologue from the next book. It looked quite interesting but I am not sure I will still read it. I will definitely read the story of Bridger and that's because he is the only person in both of the books that attracts my attention and makes me want to know more of him.

This was so great! I loved every single, hot second!

Awesome characters and a really good story. Serious hotness. I mean, holy hot! Way hot! I Really enjoyed Cain and Sloan. These two had fantastic chemistry! There was a nice amount of playfulness and it was super entertaining.

I enjoyed Sloan’s story and what she was up too. Her figuring out right from wrong and getting herself together and making the right choice was great. I loved Cain and his rough exterior and really enjoyed him evolving and growing with Sloan, being sweet, and really opening up. Mixed in the with hotness there was a bit of emotion, though not super in depth, just the right amount to keep me seriously invested. I thought there was nice development to their relationship with some drama and tension along the way. There might have been a point I wants to strangle Cain but I liked how it all came together in the end.

There was more Bridger in this story and I seriously can't wait for him to get his own book (oh please! oh please! oh please!). I am so fascinated by this strong, quiet, and gruff man. He is a really great presence. I liked seeing Callie and Woolf too and liked the addition of Rand and Logan (and very sexy!). They were fun!

Great story. Entertaining and fast paced. Super hot! A nice amount of angst mixed in. A really excellent read.

As I read Wicked Fall book 1 in this series, I kept thinking I hope Bridger is next… that was until the epilogue and then I was like OMG I want Cain now!!!
Well, Wicked Lust did not disappoint! It opens with a prologue that was the epilogue to Wicked Fall, it is a great refresher and so puts you in the right frame of mind as to who Cain is when the reader connects with him again in this book.
Cain Bonham is Head of Security at the Wicked Horse. Witnessing Cain go from a top requested Fantasy Maker at The Wicked Horse, to man who had his heart stolen without even realizing it until it is almost too late, kept me glued to my kindle.
Cain’s spotting of Sloane from across the crowded bar at The Wicked Horse was well done. The reader knows from the moment Cain locks her in his cross hairs that she is different for him. Oh and the way Sloane gets his attention has me giggling and cheering her one!
This story has a wonderful use of secondary characters and not just the Wicked Horse cast or the additions to the sex scenes that turn the heat up big time. Ms. Bennett crafted a scene with Cain’s nephew that pulled at my heart while showing the depth of Cain’s.
Speaking of Cain’s heart, the backstory that broke his, will break yours; so powerful!
So if the prior book in this series has #thelick this one has #thestroke, the play between the characters in this book is no holds barred as it is a community of people who view the physical, the joy of sex and orgasms as separate from emotion. I am not sure I can be that person but oh was it fun to read!
Warning this one gets HOT and dirty….
“Trust me…. the prince didn’t want to just kiss Snow White to wake her up. He wanted to f*ck the innocence out of her.”
I snort and shake my head. “You’ve ruined that movie and my childhood for me.”
Ms. Bennett so makes it work, through all the sweaty, lust filled words, through the sex that yes goes beyond just two people, it is very clear there is a deep connection between Cain and Sloane, one others around them see and respect (yes respect, trust me it works).
Wait til you see what Cain does to elicit this line from Sloane:
"I better come hard like you promised or there will be hell to pay for what I went through today."
This one also has love that shines through:
“Can you love me?” Another whisper of his lips against mine.

“Yes,” I say with a smile. “I can totally do that.”
Did I love Sloane at first no…. do I understand why she did what she did, yes. In the end, was I pleased with the happy she brought Cain? Hell yes!
As with the first book, this one so made me want Bridger’s backstory, it made me want alone time with him, it made me want to get in his head and it has me dying to see who captures this man’s heart and soul.
But as this one comes to a close, I was so fine with Rand being next…. because yes in this one we meet two new men Logan and Rand and I am very excited to see both these men get a happy!

Dayum! That was gloriously, delightfully pervy! Wicked Lust was indeed wicked and, oh, it made me squirm! Love that!

The quick of it is that Sloan is a journalist on a mission to rid the world of corrupt politicians and her magazine has it's eyes set on one out in Wyoming with very very loose ties to a kink club. And she's...going to infiltrate and get the scoop. If she has to boff the hunky scarred head of security to get that in? So be it! She'll just have to take one for the team

Alright so right off the bat. Reporters/journalists set my teeth on edge. We all know this. So...I was a little nervous about heading into this one. But all the dirty, raunchy, kinky bits totally soothed my pervy soul and I was in! And I found I actually liked Sloan (for the most part). I didn't love her ulterior motives for coming to town and cosying up to everyone but she was friendly and adventurous and what she was doing weighed heavily on her conscience. It had me liking her more than I would expect and kept her from ending up in the typical I hate journalists list.

And Cain. Cain was all sorts of I-would-fuck-him-yummy. Scarred and a bit scary and definitely alpha. He loves his kink and is all about sullying up Sloan who is maybe a little innocent when it comes to kink. I really loved everything about him.

I've had a hard-on practically all day since I left her in that bathroom with a plug in her ass. I practically jumped on her when her car pulled in front of her apartment as I was already waiting there for her. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was immensely relieved when she sashayed up to me and hissed, "Get this damn thing out of me. I better come hard like you promised or there will be hell to pay for what I went through today."

That right there...that got my cock to go to full attention.

And good Lord! The kink. The Kink!! Be still my pervy heart. It was definitely indulged with this one. Menage elements, a little bondage and edgy fantasies, ass play and maybe even a pierced cock (though just one passing through one night and not the hero's). It was all gloriously, decadently filthy and made me deliriously happy. lol

I loved these two together, too. While neither was looking for much of anything besides a fling it was fun seeing them together. Their connection sizzled. And gah! Once things fell apart...holy crap. While some let her deceptions pass a little too easily Cain was not one of them. He made her work for it. Whew! And I loved that too. It was brutal and real and had my emotions swinging all over the place. (I was totally on his side though)

All in all, if you're looking for something hot and luscious and just a little bit wicked--okay, a LOT wicked--you need to snatch Bennett up. She brings the heat, the kink and the romance that'll leave you panting for more.

When I saw that the galley of this was available for request I might have screamed and dropped everything to log in my request. After the tease of Cain’s book at the end of Wicked Fall, I was hooked. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t have done to get my hands on this book.

As head of security for the Wicked Horse and his membership to Silo there isn’t much that this man can’t have whenever he wants it. But the little blonde that keeps showing up at the Wicked Horse has his full attention. But for Cain, when he’s on the job – he’s all business.

Sloane isn’t just looking for a good time while staking out the local bar scene. She’s here for a juicy story. As an undercover reporter she knows she has to find her in, in order to gain access to the Silo and get the dirt she needs to keep her job. But she never expected that one night with Cain would have her questioning everything.

This was hot. H.O.T. Sawyer Bennett turned up the heat with the second installment of the Wicked Horse Series with the story of Cain and Sloane. This story was pure excitement and packed full of explosive sexiness.

I loved that Cain was this sort of tough character that you did not really expect to be one driven by his emotions, but he still was so damn sweet at times. I loved seeing his inner battle of working this girl through his system, although I admit his stubbornness towards the end was frustrating (in all the best ways).

This series is a bit dirtier than the usual romances Bennett writes, but I am loving seeing her explore this new series. All of the cast of characters leave you fully intrigued. I love that we are still waiting for the real juicy story for Bridger and I am a huge fan of how she closes out each book – that little taste of the next book is just what this reader needs to feel twitchy for the next book.

Fantastically written, amazing characters that you can’t help but fall in love with and a superb job at creating a story that will hold your attention from the first page to the very last. I have one lonely book from this author yet to read and I am freaking out a bit over it. This author has become my go to author when I need a quick fix of perfect. And I need to make that last one last me until her next release. I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out though. Her writing is purely addictive. I mean, I went into this week thinking I’d read this and move on and instead I read this and three more of her books. Back to back. You just can’t help it. They are that good.
