Alessandra “Ale” Ridley, lawyer extraordinaire, attentive best-friend, cool aunt, Star Wars expert, Fortnite guru… is lonely.
Life has left her feeling vulnerable, unworthy of her own love story. At this point, she’s ready to fade off into the background of life.
That is, until Nathan Prescott shows up.
With his ridiculously blue eyes, dark hair, tanned skin and a body so close to perfect that it's hard to believe he is not the poster boy for Photoshop, he could have anyone. Ale can hardly believe he wants her.
Nathan is more perfect than any fictional character she ever pinned on, and he isn’t running away from her quirky traits like so many others before him have done. In fact, he encourages Ale to become her true self, helping her to see that she deserves to be romanced, to be someone’s first choice.
When a heart-shattering secret unravels what Ale thought was her shot at the love of a lifetime, she runs… but maybe she's run too fast this time?

I really enjoyed this story.
Ale was so relatable and sweet she melted my heart - I laughed so hard at her geekiness! And Nathan? Damn where can I get one of them? No, seriously, where?
The romance flowed nicely even if i found it went a bit fast at first i understood why later in the book ( sorry peeps no spoiler)
I expected the book to go a certain way and it really managed to take me by surprised which doesn't happen often in Romance so kudos for that.
The side characters were also well developed and i couldn't help but be protective of some of them.
All in all a strong romance novel which i think will pleased all the romance lovers!
I just love it when a book can surprise me and R.G. Angel certainly managed to do that with Lovable. This book packs quite a punch with humor, sweet romance, and some heavy hitting emotion and even caught me off guard a time or two leaving me gasping. I adored the sprinkles of nerdiness and humor as much as I adored the love between Nathan and Ale. As much as I really was hooked to this one there were moments that threw me a bit off track but not enough to really pull me out of the story. I would have loved to have seen more of a resolution at the end, but the epilogue certainly helped make up for it. All in all Lovable is a fantastic read that will have any romance lover swooning away.
I have mixed feelings about this book :/ It was OK-ish to me. I liked the literally "found" family troupe but with some things, I was not a fan.
Insta-love is strong here, just to be clear. MMC Nathan had his moments were I was really liking how attentive he was but some situations were very off and I was suspicious of him a lot. When it comes to FMC, I felt like Alessandra as a lawyer and Alessandra as a human, were two different persons. But I liked that she was a nerd and I could kind of see myself in her when it comes to attention from the guys 😂 I'm always like:
My rant because some things were just too much: ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
“I wish you could see yourself the way I see you.”
Alessandra may be a lawyer for a clothing brand, but this glamorous fashion world is nothing like her. With a preference for comfortable clothes, this nerd would rather spend her free time playing with her friend and his son than out clubbing. Extremely reserved, shy and insecure, few people live in her social circle. But when her friend demands a "girl's night" she can’t deny it. And that's why she stares in amazement at the woman reflected in the mirror. A well-dressed woman, even pretty, but nothing like her. And on this very different night, she will meet a man who will pique her interest. As much as she doesn't want to believe it or even question herself. Nathan is handsome, nice, kind and is clearly interested in the woman he met at the bar. But she resembles a puppy in distress, ready to flee at any moment. What he will not allow. Even with her reservations and insecurities, Ale decides to give Nathan a chance and maybe allow herself to be happy. But her new boyfriend looks very perfect. Too much. When a big secret is revealed, she will discover the pain of betrayal and will have to reevaluate what she wants out of life. When new surprises come her way, maybe a fresh start is what she needs. But the past still exists and appears seeking a second chance. How to trust again? How to accept the betrayal of the most unlikely people possible? Lovable was a pleasant surprise. My first reading from the author did not disappoint. I loved the plot, the characters, the story and the plot twist. Alessandra and Nathan were perfect for each other until they weren't. But the love still existed. And what unfolded was a story of how much one should forgive and be happy, or continue to hold on to the pain and let the opportunities pass. A beautiful book.
If only I could give more then 5 stars... This book, this story deserves every single one of them. It was beautiful, heartbreaking but so so beautiful. Heck I want to have a Nathan in my life because of this story! With all the ups and downs, the love and the heartbreak, this story gets to you in more ways then you would imagine at the beginning of it. I had a feeling there would be a ‘twist’, which it has (not going to spoil what it is though ;)). This book made me laugh, made me cry and even made me face my fears of being ‘unlovable’ myself. I know it’s only a story, but a damn good one it is! It is P-E-R-F-E-C-T.... R.G. Angel, you did it again girl, I’m so proud of you!!!
Such a beautifully written book of overcoming your past and forgiving mistakes that were made with good intention. Ale and Nathan were a great pair in that they allowed each other to just be themselves and open up. However their relationship may have started, it blossomed into something real, something that neither expected. When having such low self worth, it is nice to finally be proven that you are, in fact, lovable. Wonderful read!
“Lovable drew me in from start to the end. I never heard about R.G. Angel before and I’m so glad I read this book. The story was sweet and lovely. The characters development was perfect. Ale and Nathan’ story is far from easy, they story was complicated just like them. The plot will take you into a rollercoaster ride of emotion. I enjoyed every single chapter. The twist and turns, humor, drama and the breathtaking moments made this story unique in the most fascinating way. Funny, quirky and lovely. A sweet story that I highly recommend it to you.”
Talk about a book that made me feel all warm and fuzzy. This book did that and so much more.
Ale was everything. I loved her oddness. I loved getting lost is how she was so different from most female characters. I loved Nathan. He just got Ale. He was such an amazing man. I loved how they each allowed the other to be who they are. I know their relationship was conventional in the beginning, but it becomes something, real in the end.
This book had me sucked in from the very beginning. This book is about moving forward, overcoming hurt, and learning to truly be who you are.
I'm new to R.G. Angel, but I can't wait to read more from this talented author. Please check out this amazing book.
4.5 stars I really enjoyed this story. I loved this quirky heroine so much. She had hang ups and insecurities. I could relate to her so much. I liked that she was a force of nature in the courtroom. I loved her friends and family. This story had wonderful secondary characters. Georgie was the cutest kid. I love the Star Trek vs Star Wars competition. I love them both. Nathan was dreamy. He really took care of her. It’s what every woman wants in their goal for a relationship. I would totally be friends with Alessandra. The story was predictable to me. I guessed it right away. I still recommend this book. I want to look at the authors other works. I like her writing style.
This was so much more than I expected. The story flowed so well and the relationship between Ale and Nathan developed so organically that I couldn't put it down. It's sweet, funny, and quirky. I fell in love with both Ale and Nathan. They grew and it was nice seeing how they were going to overcome their own obstacles to realize what they needed.
As a girl who never felt good enough to be someone’s first choice this book really hit home. I could identify with Ale in so many ways! Awesome story with a HEA.
Got that book because it was only £0.99- Never heard about this author before and i'm so glad i did! The story was lovely and the character development really got me going. I was so invested in Alessandra and Nathan relationship I felt it was a bit me. It also took me by surprised which rarely happen in contemporary novels. I might have swore a little which my husband was not overly fond of. The side characters were also adorable and George cheekiness reminded me a lot of my own son! You're in for a treat let me tell you. I read the book in one sitting and then downloaded the novella from him POV and it was amazing! I have to say i just felt the story could have been a little longer but the epilogue and novella helps for that. I'm going to keep a eyes on this author that's for sure!
I'm not sure where life decided to mess with my head in my stories, but here we are. Lovable had a great premise, came off realistic, and I did feel the heartwarming moments, but, I mean people really upset me. And yes, I consider my book characters people too. Anyway, let me talk about Ale for a minute, as I totally LOVED her! She's smart, a Star Wars geek (yes I'm one as well), has a very good career, but low self esteem, which made me want to cry once or twice. Nathan comes into the picture when she goes out one night, and he's perfect for her from the get go, especially since he wanted her, and let her be who she was. I loved them together. However, their journey is full of complications, which I did get upset about, because Ale believed he was too good to be true. Those complications made for unexpected twists that had me dropping loud f-bombs, and indulging in colorful metaphor name calling. I won't say why, but there was some lethal drama & other things that tried to make my head explode. Lovable was a story which kept me gripped in the pages cover to cover, but I felt like the resolution to things a bit too rushed to be honest. However, don't take my word for it, just one click this story to decide for yourselves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Alessandra's fun, quirky, geeky, cool, smart, a lawyer, and all-around good friend. She's had a crappy love life in the past, and has practically given up on love. Her friend Angela drags her out to a bar filled with suit-wearing professionals, where she meets Nathan. She's so surprised when he wants to see her again. He encourages her to be true to herself, and she falls in love with him. He tells her he's in love with her as well, and she's convinced that he is. Everything is perfect. But if it seems too good go be true... Angela's heart was in the right place when she tried to help Ale. But a friendship, a marriage, a working relationship - all destroyed. Along with Ale's heart. She ghosts her life, and finds family in North Carolina, family that becomes close friends. And as she learns to trust and let her new family into her heart, she also has to trust and forgive her old family. This is my first read from this author - it certainly won't be the last.

This is a new author to me, and I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future! Ale and Nathan’s story is complex and intricate, as well as being sweet, humorous, emotional, heart-warming, and with unexpected twists and drama. I was intrigued throughout, and the only problem I had, and this is only my opinion, is that the story was very rushed in places. I look forward to reading more from this author.
I’ve never read from this author before but I really enjoyed this story. Ale is successful, smart, sweet and a really good friend. But she has low self esteem. So when she meets the utterly gorgeous Nathan she can’t quite believe that he’s interested in her. And through Nathan, Ale learns to love herself and is truly happy. Nathan is perfect for Ale. But is he too good to be true? I did not see the next part coming at all but it really worked well in the story. I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I really liked Lovable by R.G Angel it drew me in from start to finish I didn't want it to end but what a ending . This would be the first book that I've read by the author and I can't wait to read more by her in the future . As I said before I love a book that can make me laugh and feel many emotions while reading it and that is what Lovable did for me . The characters and the story line just drew me in and just blew my mind with how is was written I hope to see more from the characters in the future .
This was my introduction to this author, and I'm so glad to have found her!
Ale and Nathan's story is complicated, just like them. This book took me for one heck of a ride, and I enjoyed every second of the ups, downs and twists. There's some really great humor, some painful realistic tension and drama, and the whole cast of characters was really well drawn.
Highly recommend this sweet, unexpected romance!

Great characters, humor, romance - a perfect book to cozy up and read. A very enjoyable book. I can usually read a book pretty well and know what is coming, but this one was incredible. Ups and downs. I could relate to the self-esteem theme between them so well. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed this heartwarming romance. Ale and Nathan are wonderful characters, well developed, relatable, and yes, lovable. The storyline is well written and captures your attention from the beginning. This story has humour, geekiness, self-esteem issues, reality, family, surprises, and a heartwarming romance.
I am looking forward to reading more books by this author. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
What was clear from the beginning of this story was how lovable Alessandra really was already and how unaware she was of that. And how essential coming to believe that was necessary. I liked Nathan and they made a great couple but the crux of all of this was no matter who else believes, Ale needed to believe that she was lovable. Great read.

I really enjoyed this story. I so didn't guess the twist until it was revealed and then it made me gasp and then chuckle. I enjoyed watching the characters figure their way through everything that went on. I loved watching their interactions and George just steals whatever scene he is in! I would quite happily have spent more time with these characters as they sucked me so far into their world and I really enjoyed their company.
Love Alessandra (Ale) and Nathan. Though there is betrayal, backstabbing, and a few twist that bring both of their past into play, their love for each other never falters. Ale has never felt truly loved so everything that Nathan does for her she either questions or feels oddly about. Nate tries to make her see she is lovable if when no one else has shown her love.

This is a book that made me feel many things. Mad, exasperated, happy. I yelled "idiot" a few times, mostly because I can see myself in Ale. This book also managed to surprise me more than once and kept me entertained all the way through. I don't take time to leave many reviews but this book is worth it.
Sweet, funny, quirky and a bit nerdy, Lovable was a nice romantic story that brings Ale and Nathan into our kindles. I like the characterization of them and how the story flowed even if it seemed too fast.
