A mother’s anguish and her descent into hell after her husband’s death will be called on to face a demon. A child’s anger over the loss of his family will have him questioning his faith. Will he make the right choice between good and evil? He didn’t remember that night, but evil will do whatever it takes to try and collect another soul. Legion is many and still has Clyde in his sights. Could he survive a second time? FREE WILL. Horror and evil oozes off the pages and Ashley Fontainne leaves me wanting more!

Madness by Ashley Fontainne takes place ten years after the murder of Tyler Tidwell's family. Once a Drexler, he now the adopted son of retired Sheriff Clyde Tidwell. The story now follows Tyler's spiritual and emotional battle, along with the grip demons have on his soul. They are waiting for the right moment to take hold, and that moment comes with the death of Tyler's beloved dog. The story then becomes another spiritual battle with several surprising twists.

Once again, Fontainne's prose and strong character development captivated this reader, though I think the climax of this story is not nearly as strong as the first book. While still powerful, the spiritual battle too easily concluded. Whereas the denouement felt a little long for the length of this story. Still, an excellent read, with a satisfying conclusion.

Excellent Series

I have yet to read a book that I have not absolutely loved written by Ashley Fontainne. She writes in a way where you are there - you can picture everything clearly like in a movie. Highly recommend!

Once again we return to the world of "Many" in Ashley Fontainne's second book in the Legion series, "Madness." After reading the events in the first book, I was almost afraid to open this one, knowing what I was likely letting myself in for. When demons come to small southern towns, they come in a big way. As Raye, Tyler and Clyde try to come to terms with each of their own demons, they are beset by demons who are all too real. Some will have their faith to sustain them and some won't, but as each page brings new twists and turns, you'll find yourself frantically turning the pages to see what surprises lay ahead. For atmosphere, setting and suspenseful pacing, this author can't be beat. I can't wait for the next book in this series, as I know the demons aren't done with this intrepid group of warriors yet.
