Chaos and bloodshed befalls the Bar P in northern New Mexico as seven riders seeking vengeance descend upon the vast 30,000-acre land grant spread. Spared by the attackers—for now—is Adam Laurent, the owner of the Bar P . . . but only until his first wife, Lilith, can calculate how to best claim the land as her own upon his death.
As they are given to being tangled up in such cases, the Rivers and Sinclair law firm finds itself representing Adam's second wife in the land grant matter. And, when Josh Rivers gets deputized to help investigate the incident at the Bar P, it is no longer just a legal matter—Josh’s life is on the line, too.

This book was hard for me to read until I realized this was this guy's beliefs
They came for New Orleans, now that don't make them bad I got a bunch of friends in New Orleans. But down in Louisiana where the black trees grow lived a Voodoo lady named Marie Lavoue. She practiced a little Voodoo, Hoodoo. She had this lady so screwed up and her name wasn't even Marie Lavoue. Anyway murder and mayhem. Men doing exactly what she wanted when she wanted. Josh has to help straighten her up. Took most of the family. Frank

This was another good storyline just like all the others in this series! I couldn't put it down! I hope someday we find out what finally happens to the crazy woman and her brain damaged son!
Another great romance action and adventure set in old New Mexico! Excited to read the next book in the Rivers adventure! Strongly recommend reading the entire saga.
Really like this series. Easy to like and follow the characters. I plan on reading every single book this authors writes. On to the next in this series.
BOOK 5 of the Law Wranglers Series maintains the excellence of the Series
I chose this rating because the books, in my opinion, are very well done with good proofreading. The stories, and characters are believable, the locales well described and action scenes well laid out. Looking forward to Book 6.
This is an ongoing saga that definitely is the most intriguing western story I have ever had the opportunity to follow. Most certainly suspenseful enough to maintain anyone's attention from beginning to end.
Definitely five stars worthy, as the Rivers Clan stands tall tall in their quest for justice. This story is one exciting and entertaining gunplay after the other. I have enjoyed each and every exciting adventure of this outstanding group of individuals that definitely keeps my interest throughout their many outstanding endeavors. These stories consistently maintained my utmost interest, as they were outstandingly heartwarming and compassionate renditions of what I perceived as realistic old American western folklore was virtually based on. The storylines successfully depicts what I perceived as realistic, and the characters were definitely befitting of their assigned roles. Lots of gunplay, and plenty of episodes camaraderie throughout the entire book! Definitely recommend this compassionately outstanding masterpiece to all readers, regardless of your desired reading preference, as the never ending detailed extravaganzas will appease anyone's reading appetite. Do not miss reading this exceptionally well written masterpiece, as the ?loss will be yours!!
Well developed cast of characters who will play parts as the Rivers family and friends fight off land- grabbers, rustlers, and thieves. Other than mentioning the notorious Santa Fe ring, the villains in this book escaped, new trouble await the family.
I wood have given this book a t star except that the book is continued. I just hate books like that. I wish an author would just make more pages and tie all together. I’m sure they have other reasons except scaling another book? I just hate short stories and to be continued. This was a good book and didn’t need to end this way.
Ron is one of my favorite authors always providing a great read, and this book is no exception. Interesting characters and an intriguing storyline keep the reader engrossed. I look forward to the next installment
If you enjoy a good intriguing story set in the days of the past Comanche wars in New Mexico and surrounds, this series is for you. Contains graphic content so not for everyone.
