This is the story of William Crossing who lives in the little town of Ashdurton on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon. According to an ancient local myth, an orclike monster called Cutty Dyer lives beneath the town's bridge. If you cross the bridge while drunk, Cutty will get you... William Crossing knows the local legend and decides to promote Ashdurton as a centre for paranormal activity in an attempt to attract the latest economic trend - dark tourism, to reinvigorate the declining, cultural backwater. Unfortunately for William, the villagers of Ashdurton do not want any publicity because in every village there is a dark secret which people will kill to keep hidden.
Cutty Dyer is the fourth short story in the Bad Decisions ebook series - because every horror story starts with one bad decision...
