The son of a prominent Cosa Nostra Don, Corrado Guzzi’s life should have been all mapped out. He would be what every other Guzzi man was, too—made, mafia. It’s their way. But when given another choice, the chance to be something more, he takes it. Even if it comes with strings.

It’s there that he might find where he belongs, and Alessio Sorrento. The man who could change his whole life.

This love thing? It should have been easy, but they made it hard. Nothing about a relationship like theirs is simple. Dictated by rules, weighed down with things left unsaid, and already hanging by a frayed thread.

This is what love looks like before, and after.
Before she came along.
And after she was there.

It takes one woman to change everything.

Ginevra Calabrese wasn’t ready for this—for them.

So, what happens now?

NOTE: Corrado (book one) and Alessio (book two) are a duet within The Guzzi Legacy series, and should be read in order. All other titles in the series are standalone. This is NOT a love triangle.

I wanna read book 2 right away so I’ll come back and update this review when I don’t feel like I’ve got better things to do.

I do have to say tho, I wanna give Alessio a hug! If I had to choose, yeah I’d go with Les. Corrado seems a bit too focused on himself and I need a little selflessness to go with sex on a stick.

I really wanna see Ginevra have some one on one time with Les, so yeah.. onto book 2

"Pick the person you want."
description

Corrado is the first book in The Guzzi Legacy. With action, raw passion, and deadly romance, Bethany-Kris has created another dark and twisted mafia romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire read! Corrado Guzzi has always known he was different from his Mafia family members. But growing up in a traditional Italian home doesn't stop him from achieving greatness. While training to become a great assassin, Corrado meets the love of his life. Alessio Sorrento is a powerhouse of male strength and charisma. He and Corrado quickly form an unstoppable bond. However, when Corrado is sent on a job to care for the sweet and seductive Ginevra Calabrese everything is turned upside down and things will never be the same again.

description
"He was fucking breaking apart at the seams."
Told in multiple POV, Corrado offers a complex plot with intense characters living in extreme circumstances. All three main characters are desperate to live "their" normal and yet, normalcy cannot exist in the world in which they live. As the passion ebbs and flows between Corrado and Alessio and (Corrado and Ginevra), the love triangles of all triangles is pushed to the test.
"He couldn't trust himself around this woman."
Overall, Corrado will appeal to readers who enjoy M-M, M-F, and Mafia action. The plot was so intense that it also serves a heavy dose of angst to readers who are sensitive to triangles. Bethany-Kris is a truly gifted storyteller and I am never disappointed when I meet her characters and dive deep in the trenches of the Mafia!

I'm so mad at what I've just read I'm struggling to gather my thoughts together to write a review that will kind of make sense. My brain and heart is hurting right now.

I've ALWAYS said that this author's heroes love like no other ...... till now. Corrado is the exception and I'm sad to say I've found a BK hero that I absolutely despise. He's selfish and cruel, OMG so very cruel. My heart hurts for Alessio.

"Alessio had a bad habit of letting Corrado have what he wanted. Even if it hurt him"

This book also hit another first for me. I've no problem reading about cheating ... till now. I actually struggled to read the pain this caused Alessio, and yes, it was cheating in my view.

"At the end of the day, I'll always be the second choice. To everything else, I come second, and you just made sure to really let me know here"

"It wasn't about Ginevra, really. It wasn't that Corrado found a woman he was attracted to, or felt something for. It was the betrayal in it - the trust Alessio never gave to anyone, but that he willingly handed to Corrado."

"I'm so glad you found something in someone else," Alessio murmured, that betrayal coating every word and each breath he took, "because God fucking knows you never found what you wanted in me".

So I ask ... HOW is that not cheating??

The writing is, as always, outstanding. Bethany Kris is a genius author and story teller no doubt about that, so 5+ stars for the writing and 5+ stars for my broken boy Alessio because man, such pain. But I'm afraid Corrado and his bland and lacklustre love interest Ginny took away from my love for this book. I can't say I hated the book, but I definitely didn't love it. It challenged me and pushed me way past my limits, that's for sure.

I may come back and totally change this review once I've read the conclusion, though I'm not sure I can stomach much more of Corrado's BS and I really don't see how he's going to be redeemed. The grovel best be beyond epic!

5 “Can’t Get Enough” Stars

Be still my heart.......Corrado Guzzi and Alessio “Les” Sorrento are my newest addiction. These two men who we meet at the age of 17, ingrain themselves into your soul and Do Not Let Go. They are moody, cocky and similar as they are different. Each not really fitting in, The League is where they meet and their lives connect and make sense.

Corrado and Les are MM but appreciate a woman when one peaks their interest. But their relationship is complicated. Corrado is from Cosa Nostra Guzzi Famiglia and much is expected. He would never cause issues for his family and he carries that weight in his heart. Les got himself “family” when he was 10 yrs old. It wasn’t a traditional family but it was one where he was cared for and loved and living in The League. Corrado and Les have a special chemistry that the author so richly expresses through magnificent words. While their life is unconventional and filled with obstacles because of who they are, they know that each other is ““Koi no yokan,” A feeling. It is the feeling upon meeting someone you know, eventually, you will fall in love with that person.”

But when a favor is called upon from Corrado, he didn’t know that “Koi no yokan,” could happen again, as in a woman, Ginevra Calebrese. And while Corrado and Les do not keep secrets from on another, Geneva becomes their first. Ginny is introduced towards the end of Corrado and all I can say is OMG.... Ginny and Corrado🔥🔥🔥. That is not to take away from Corrado and Les because their relationship is unique, special and also 🔥🔥🔥.

And while Les meets Ginny at the end, I know that this author is gonna rock my world with Alessio’s book. The heat and the passion between these three can only be combustible because she makes you feel the intensity between all the relationships. Their fears, doubts, lust, sexuality, and love are all heightened because of who they are, what they are apart of and what they feel for one another.

I know that Corrado, Les and Ginny will ignite my heart and my soul with a reverent type of fiery explosive emotional passion. I absolutely can not wait for the next book.

Corrado is the first book in the Guzzi Legacy Series. It blew my mind. I seriously don’t know if I could find the words to clearly explain how I felt reading it and even after I finished.

Corrado is so different from her other hero’s in the Commission World but not. His personality fit his character perfectly. Then there is Alessio. He is so alluring. I was enraptured with their relationship. You can’t help but be drawn to their feelings for each other as Love knows no bounds and I was enamoured. When BK throws in Ginny into the mix it had just made the story so much more fascinating though there isn’t much of the three together which is why I am looking forward to Book 2 which is Alessio’s story as you see how they go from MM to MMF.

I am a MMF virgin and wasn’t sure how I would feel reading Corrado but I was pleasantly surprised though I had no doubt that I would enjoy it since Bethany-Kris has a way with her words. You see beyond the gender and labels as it truly is about connection and feelings. This MMF story by Bethany-Kris is an epic read. It left me with a massive book hangover. I am dying for more and highly recommend this one. Don’t pass it up as it was an all-consuming and highly addicting book I could not put down.

Les and Corrado. Corrado and Les. Corrado, Les, and Ginevra. Oh, these three killed me. Their emotions, their stories, the tangled, tangled webs that Corrado wove. I loved it all.
In the beginning, I enjoyed learning more about the League, what the training process was like. Then thrown into all that was Les. This man that Corrado couldn't quite figure out, but knew he wanted like nothing else. Their relationship, what they each gave and took was so interesting to read. Interesting, and hot. They were rough, but somehow still soft.
Then came Ginevra. Something neither Les or Corrado expected. And she began feeling things that she never expected, especially with everything that was going on in her life. But emotions rose, becoming more apparent than ever before, and bonds were tested, with what was said and unsaid.
Cannot wait for the next book.

OMG....Well, this was a unexpected read..... Although it was a MMF mafia book I gave it a shot !!
It's Bethany Kris book after all right???
Certainly a roller coaster ride all way through but It was so so fucking good!!!! And I really love it !!!
The story was captivating you instantly, it was emotional, sexy, passionate and above all I loved Corrado, Alessio and Ginevra!!

Corrado is an incredibly emotional and compelling story that left me with a serious need for more. Bethany-Kris delivers a powerhouse of a story that is delicious and edgy and sexy. The blend of angst and turmoil and romance made this a captivating story that I did not want to put down.

”Something about Alessio Sorrento drew Corrado in and made every single one of his nerves turn on in a good and bad way. He wanted to run away as much as he wanted to stay right there and do it all over again.“

Everything about this story was executed so well. I am not generally a reader of MM or MMF romance but am a huge fan of this author and the amazing world that she created, and am so glad that I decided to read this story. Bethany-Kris writes with such emotion and passion. The main characters are all so rich and multi-faceted, and the focus was on them and their identities, feelings, and emotions. I have been eagerly anticipating this story ever since Ginevera’s escape from her and Andino’s non-wedding. She had no idea what a complicated situation she was walking into. The story was broken up into two parts, and I while loved Part 1 and the building of Corrado and Les’s bond, I also loved how things really picked up when Ginevera came into the picture in Part 2.

“Did he even know how intense his stare was? Like he’d found prey, and was ready to go in for the kill? A part of her wouldn’t mind that.
Being his prey.
Not at all.“

Corrado is both well plotted and well written, in a writing style that is uniquely Bethany-Kris. There is an authenticity to her words and the characters she creates that sets her apart from others in this genre. I loved the emotional elements just as much as the erotic scenes. I enjoyed the connection that the characters share, and look forward to seeing it grow further with Ginevra’s presence. There is so much that Corrado and Les need to face head on, both with each other and within themselves, and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to play out. The second book in this duet cannot come soon enough.

I enjoy this author. I follow a thread on GoodReads. I do it because, now and again, one of the people will talk about a book and/or author that appeals to me. I'll try it and be pleasantly surprised. This happened to me with this author at the beginning of the year. I think I've read most of her backlist and anxiously await new books by her. This one was good, but not one of my favorites.

I actually loved the story until Part 2. Then, it seemed like she was moving quickly and not providing her normal backstory for us. The attractions seemed to be immediate and not based on anything tangible or lasting. The heroine just seemed to seemed to pull on Corrado and expect to be engaged in his life, feel like he owed her some part of himself .. without really earning it. This disappointed me.

What were my top 3 things with this story?
1 -- The authors story telling abilities are pretty amazing. She makes her stories evolve so easily. You never have to struggle to "get into" one of her books. They have just enough detail. I look forward to a new book of hers. Very enjoyable.
2 -- I re-read Gian and Cara's story before reading Corrado's story. I still really enjoy Gian. I enjoyed all the previous characters I encountered here.
3 -- I had no idea this would be a m/m story. I thought Bethany-Kris did a really nice job with this story content. I don't remember reading another by her. Part 1 of this book has an evolving relationship. I really enjoyed watching it happen.

What 3 things did I not like as much?
1 -- Corrado needed to man up to his feelings. I wanted to tell him to grow a pair and get over himself. He wanted a relationship, but had trouble committing like he should. How is that fair to the other person?
2 -- Ginevra. I hated this name. I could never get it right when I pronounced it in my head as I was reading. I seemed to always need to pause to get it right. I also didn't like the character, in general. It seemed to be truncated. She wasn't fully evolved. She was beautiful, and per Corrado, she had a unique way of responding to things or a way of thought. I didn't see it, but okay ... Also, she seemed to feel proprietary where Corrado is concerned, and this seemed [to me] to be without cause. Overall, I'm not a Ginny fan.
3 -- The ending seemed rushed. The books length is meaty, but for some reason, the ending seemed rushed to me.

Bottom line, I liked this book. I LOVE this author. I would give Part 1 5+ Stars, but Part 2 was probably closer to 3 Stars. The book, overall, is 4 Stars for me. I can't wait for her next amazing read!

2.5 ⭐️ for the spoiled ending!

I liked this book from the beginning until the introduction of Ginny. Now I am confused. It kinda seems like it was the author’s intention to confuse the plot, but I just don’t get why. Corrado and Les’s relationship was not perfect but it was working, and quite steamy at that. Corrado just needed to work on his issues and then they would have lived happily ever after, or so I thought. I don’t understand why Ginny had to come in to the picture and frankly I find her a little creepy.

For me this would have been a solid 5star if it was just a story about the League and the lovers, and their story was properly resolved. Throwing Ginny into the works just spoiled it for me.

Sweet Holy Hell

This author is one that always has me on the edge of my seat. Her stories are sublime and her characters are in a league all their own. She manages to portray a lifestyle that, even though completely foreign to me, seems like home. I can always count on her stories to evoke a maelstrom of emotions. Every new book she writes becomes my favorite. EVERY. TIME. That was most assuredly the case with this story.

I knew going into this book that it would be different because this author is known for amazing one of a kind love stories that are not MM. I still knew that I need to read this as if I need her words like air even though my preference isn't MM (nothing against it just my personal choice). I was right to feel this way because this connection? SWEET. HOLY. LORD. Alessio and Corrado were proof that love should have no limitations. I LOVED them both. I felt the confusion that Corrado felt because he knew how it was perceived in this life. Les had his own baggage to deal with. Watching them both love unconditionally without words was both beautiful and hard because not everything is black and white, and love isn't exclusive to only loving one gender. Insert the twist, also known as Ginny. I felt the connection here too. I liked her. Really liked her. I wanted things to be easy for all involved. Only, the thing is, love is never easy. It is messy, chaotic, and a fickle beast.

This was slow to begin but intense. I knew by the time that Ginny came into the story that there was no way that this beautiful journey of love would be completed in one book. Silly me, I just now noticed that it said Guzzi Legacy #1. That is what this author does to me. I don't even pay attention to these things. Instead, I just go into the story blind because I know she is going to make me lose all sense of the real world as I find myself finding the comfort of home, i.e., whatever world she has created. So it ends with things very much up in the air. I am not sure where this is going to go and that is the beauty of it. Will this turn into an MMF relationship or will someone have to be given up for the other? I cannot wait to find out.

Okay so if I had to rate this book on how I feel right now then I'm going with 1 to 1.5 at best but if I rate on how well it's written, BKs storytelling and mad skills as an author then I've got to be honest and go with a 5 cos as we all know BK tells one hell of a story and I’m never gonna deny that.

Now I loved the first 50% of the book when Corrado and Alessio meet and the whole “Koi no yokan” thing they had going on, I liked learning more about The League and how that worked. But after that not so much and I really ended up disliking Corrado.....in fact that’s not true dislike is far too mild I actually hated him H.A.T E.D yes hated him for what he was doing.

Corrado one hundred percent shattered and then shit all over the trust in their relationship and it felt like he was having an affair behind Alessio’s back. Sorry but cheating in a loving relationship is a massive hard limit for me and that's what this felt like for me. You can whine on all you like about them having an “open” relationship and they’ve had women before BUT this was different and he knew it and keeping it secret was a huge betrayal. FFS just pick up a phone man and talk it’s not that bloody difficult (can you tell this really bothered me!)
I know there were some long term issues for them both but having Ginny there only exacerbated them as far as I can see.
Corrado really hurt Alessio and he's going to have to do some serious and I mean SERIOUS work to rebuild the trust if you ask me!

Corrado thinks something near the end of the book that made me think he was a total T@#t and that was "If he couldn't have one. He needed the other" WTF the selfish prick what about Alessio off somewhere breaking his heart huh???? Fuck that noise 😡
This wasn’t the MMF I had been expecting and looking at other reviews I know I’m in the minority but there you have it.
I think Corrado is a selfish prick

Oh I suppose I should say something about Ginny……well not really feeling the love for her either. At first I felt sorry for her and felt she was a victim as much as Alessio in this big mess, after all she can't help it if she falls for Corrado right! But as things progressed she knew Corrado was in a long term (as in living with) relationship with Alessio and at the end she STILL pursued him and tried to force him to choose so no not really feeling the love for Ginny either. Sorry NOT sorry!

Anyhoo moving straight on to Alessio as I need to see him get his happy or I think I might literally explode or punch someone preferably Corrado!

"In their life, love was weakness. Love was a fucking target. It was something people could use to hurt you, and when you loved someone that much … you did everything you could to keep it, and safeguard it from whoever might try to take it from you. Even if that meant hurting the person you loved in the process, too. Because sometimes, one had to do what one had to do."

I have read a lot mafia books. Let’s say I am obsessed with the genre. Imagine a hot made man organizing crime and finding love behind the chaos, blood, guns and mayhem. Sounds like an antihero you would read, right? Well, only Bethany-Kris writes the baddest and sexiest mafia men you can’t help fall in love with. I have been a fan of her books for a long time. Looking for a fast paced thriller, she delivers. Looking for a different kind of mafia read, she has it. Looking for addictive characters with exciting qualities, she gives it. Every book she has written has been outstanding. I always happen to fall in love with them all the time.

OMG!!!!!! When Bethany-Kris writes one captivating mafia romance, you feel it. You feel the drama. You feel the danger. You feel the passion. You feel the mayhem. In the pages. In the characters. Man oh man, Corrado punched my heart deeply. With every word, I was plunged deep. With every scene, I was catapulted into a seductive and deeply pulse hitting world. Wow, Corrado transported me to another world. The story capturing. Mesmerizing. Heart Hitting. Heart Paralyzing. Entrancing. Luring. Corrado is the spellbinding first book in the Guzzi Legacy with a MMF trope, giving you one fascinating ride. Corrado is sexy. Corrado is a crackle of endless emotions. Angsty. Taboo. Dark. Alluring. Unconventional. Corrado will split your heart and ravage your soul.

Corrado and Les. Corrado and Ginevra. Les and Ginevra. Omg, these three truly made my heart go crazy and my soul bleed. Tangled. Complicated. Delicious. Emotional. Electrifying chemistry. I felt their struggles in feelings for each other. I felt their despair. I felt their passionate. It is sinful. It is addictive. It is unforgettable. You fall in love with Corrado, Les and Ginevra.

I am so excited for the conclusion. I am so freaking ready!!!!!!!!

Wow! What another amazing read by Bethany Kris! I just love this author and everything she writes. The story drew me right in from the very first pages and once I started reading it I could not put it down. The story was gripping and suspenseful and had a great cast of characters that you could not help but love. This author impresses me each and every time I start reading a book by her, she just draws you right in and grabs your attention right from the very first pages to the very end.

I loved Alessio and Corrado's story their love story was intense and filled with tons of chemistry and a lot of hotness. I just loved them both. The story was also an emotional one and one with a lot of ups and downs and I have to say that toward the very end, I even teared up and my heart broke for Alessio and what he was going through.

Overall simply an amazing story that we did not want to see end and I think we will be hearing from these characters very soon as they have a lot of unfinished business. An engrossing tale from beginning to end and you just have to love these mafia families they're dangerous and deadly but, one thing is for certain is that they just love their kids right down to their very bones.

I loved it up until Ginevra was introduced. Les and Corrado had a good thing going and I don't see why she was needed. I have read numerous MMF before and loved them but I don't like how it felt like she was coming between them in this 1. I would've definitely liked it more if they both met her at the same time and I also won't read the 2nd book because it'll feel like Les is only accepting her because Corrado wants her. Without her this would've been 4 stars.

Update after a few hours.
I just realised that I don't like Corrado at all. He's selfish, a closet case and didn't deserve Allesio. After 5 years and the only time he said the word "love" was to stop Allesio from leaving him? What he did with Ginevra was cheating because it wasn't just physical like it was with the other women, feelings were involved and he didn't let his partner know. Also the sex scenes were 1 of the worst I've ever read in an MM book. You don't introduce a 3rd person in a relationship when the book is almost over. She saw that she was coming between them but she still stayed and fucked him. Am I really expected to like a character like her? 😂

I really liked the premise of this book, but the beginning, where the two heroes met, was very boring. Having to read through all of their "training" from the league was not enjoyable to me. I wanted to get to the threesome part of their story. Yet, we only got that near the end.
I have read almost every single one of Bethany-Kris' novels and usually love the hero/love story, but I didn't enjoy this one as much, because I really felt that Corrado cheated on Alessio with Ginevra. I would've liked to see their story start a different way. This was too sad for me. Alessio waited so long for Corrado's love and still didn't get it. Obviously the sequel will end that way, but I still found this sad.
And it was also sad that he kept them a secret because he was worried about what his family would think about him in a relationship with a male, yet they all knew and didn't care, were actually supportive (like when they asked where Alessio was at the party). I think Corrado handled everything very poorly.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Cliffhanger... grrrrr.

I think that should be a preface for these kinds of books but I think it's already understood. Obviously I churned threw this one in a day so OBVIOUSLY I was into it. Ok, so it was engaging and I was curious enough to pick up the next one and start right away. Good tactic but I still irritates me. Ok, spew over.

ARC KINDLY PROVIDED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

I’ve read every single book of this author. I was a fan before becoming a book blogger and getting ARCS.

Honestly, I’ve LOVE every character and every story. No one does mafia like BK. That’s facts.

I’m not into MMF, authors seem to focus more on the sexual part of the relationship and not the feelings and struggles. It is not as easy as being a relationship, to love someone and then suddenly meet another person and boom let’s have a threesome. The stories seem like a bad porno. But god this book was magnificent.

We get all the feels! The shame, guilt and everything in between.

Corrado: A beautiful man that is confused and it’s just trying to do the right thing. I enjoy that we get to read his pov since he was a teen that felt like he was alone and different to a strong and lethal man who still struggles with his feelings.

Alessio: This man is so damn hot. He knows what he wants and who he wants. He’s loyal and would do absolutely anything for Corrado. While reading his POV I felt all the emotions from sadness, pity, compassion, anger for him not toward him. He didn’t have a great start in life. He found a home in The League.

Ginevra: She was sweet and I love that she held her own. I can’t wait to read more about her. She’s in a bad place right now between these two lovers. I need to see how her relationship with Les will turn out 🙈😍

Relationship: It is very difficult to explain it without giving things away. It was HOT and heartbreaking at the same time. A complete mess of emotions. Lies, betrayal and love so much love. I need you guys to read this **** epic book.

I need ALESSIO 😭😭😭 now.

Overall Rating:

Corrado: 5
Alessio: 5

Sizzle to spare…

Oh man, did Corrado and Alessio burn up the pages in this mafia-esque romance! This author knows how to write about the made life and this was a slightly different take on a genre she easily owns. One I can’t get enough of…

Corrado wasn’t sure if he wanted life in the family. He loved his family, very much, but he wanted something different. Little did he know what he would find when he dared to look outside the line… Alessio was wary of Corrado at first but even then the connection they had couldn’t be ignored. By them. By anyone. It was intense. Uncomfortable. And mesmerizing….

Their story bounced from the wonder of discovery to the uncertainty that even time couldn’t take away. When their relationship was challenged in a way it never had before, that’s when it got even more interesting…

This was a duet so I knew I was going to have questions but this is cruel. Just cruel… Bring on the next story please!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS

Corrado is the first book in The Guzzi Legacy and it is set as a duet. This story is spellbinding! Especially when reading how Corrado and Alessio initially meet, to how their relationship develops and grows. I was intrigued when I first read the synopsis and was fascinated with how Ginevra would tie into their relationship once I started reading further into the story. I’m eager to see Ginevra and Alessio’s future interactions, as they were limited to the one initial encounter in this book. I’m so looking forward to book 2!

What can I say other than I loved all aspects of this story! It was a phenomenal and EPIC read that I would highly recommend! Bethany-Kris never fails to release a book that Ill end up loving and writing characters that stick with you! Corrado by Bethany-Kris will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

~ Thank you to the author for generously providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Such an amazing book. You really get to see into the head of Corrado. How he felt when he saw Alessio for the first time and when he saw Ginevra. It's a roller-coaster of emotions though out the story. I also like that you get to see some of the other characters you fell in love with in the beginning. Seeing Corrado perspective on how the Guzzi family sees their mother is so touching.

Be prepared to be left begging for more at the end!

This is an MMF duet story meaning there will be 2 books total. This is book 1.

Hasta Dare, Cree y The League.

"Koi no yokan."

¿Exclusividad?
—No, lealtad.

CORRADO!

I have never read a MMF book before but I was not disappointed. BK did an amazing job with not only two characters, but three!! No one is ever overshadowed and the before and after Ginerva take works perfectly. I love that we get to see Corrado and Les’s relationship before a Ginerva is introduced.

I will say as much as I love Guzzi boys, Les is one of my favorite characters.

5 Star all around because honestly when is a BK book not 5 stars?!

For me this book was one of the most anticipated books of this year. I was so looking forward to it that read it in one sitting. This book is fantastic like all Bethany's books. The plot, characters, angst made me feel and my heart beat. This is one of my favoutite MMF books. It's not a triangle, it\s love in itself. Can\t wait for book 2! Please, Bethany release it sooner.

Corrado is worth million stars and not just five!

I’m seriously obsessed with this book and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I loved the plot, it was intense, emotional, passionate and angsty. The chemistry between the characters is undeniable. First between Corrado and Alessio, and later with Ginevra too. At the end of the book, though, I really wanted to hug Alessio. I felt so sad for him. The cliffhanger has me wanting to start the next book right now, I don’t think I can wait.

The concept of The League was so interesting to me and if I had anything I would change or add to this book, it would be to see more of life at The League because I loved the idea.

Third person is something I rarely read but I adored Bethany’s writing and found it gripping. She’s very talented and I can’t wait to read more of her work outside of this series and explore her mafia world.

Overall, a great read. I would seriously recommend and I’m so ready for the next book in the series.
