As a former OTR truck driver,I came to enjoy and appreciate the services of "Flying J". "Flying J" was like being home while on the road. This book is an easy read and tells the story from "the beginning". I recommend this book to all who are traveling on those highways and byways out there.

Very well written. I'd love to see a second volume covering years 2002-Present.

One of the joys of copyediting is that you find yourself reading things you might never have picked up otherwise. So it was with this book, a well-written and informative book about the Call family. The book is a history, but reads almost like a case study in entrepreneurship, while also containing some well-researched background information about the oil and gas industry. And it's held together by the colorful characters themselves.
