I've been a Smith Wigglesworth fan for almost 20 years.
This book is filled with his sermons (transcribed from recordings).

I've been reading this book off and on for several years. I would read it for a week or two and then put it down for a month or two before picking it back up again.

Sometimes it is a bit of hard read (using terminology from the early 1900's). But overall - this is an EXCELLENT book and truly does teach what GREAT PREACHING should be like!

Many of our modern day preachers could learn a thing or two (or three or four) from following the example of Smith Wigglesworth and his style of preaching and taking a stand of Faith today!

Smith Wigglesworth is called one of the General's of the faith, and after reading the collection of his life teachings, I can see why, as the depth of his teaching, and commitment to the call God placed on his life is evident in every drop of ink in these pages. His words are so engaging you can feel the passion of His spirit as if you where in the assembly of those he was ministering unto in the early 1900's, as he freely flowed in the anointing and unction of the Holy Spirit.

Smith Wigglesworth was a man of God in every sense of the word. He believed in the comined power of God the Holy Spirit and the Bible, his written word. For those who are looking for encouragement and insight, I strongly recommend this book. Do note however that Wigglesworth repeats his sermon allegories and I found it repetitive to a point.
