Ahh and this manga is right back on the track of awesomeness!
While I definitely had some issues with the previous volume, I feel this one sort of clarified some things and felt better about it?
But goodness, the love triangle is in full force here! It makes me return back to my feelings of who do I want Nino to be with in the end!
I have deeply enjoyed a close and gradual secondary focus on Kuro. He gets even more spotlight in this volume and I feel every time him and Nino have a "moment," it always leads to them pushing the other to do something brave. Usually it's unplanned and they are just sort of sharing their heart, but I think it is what makes their friendship really special and LOVED seeing the tables turn where Nino unexpectedly spurred Kuro into action. <3
But yes, loving the Kuro spotlight and was especially very happy with how this volume ended in regards to his arc!
We get more Haruyoshi and I just love his character to pieces! He has to be in my top 5 favorite shojo male characters because he is absolutely so sweet! But even more that, the way he notices everything about everyone is so amazing.
I LOVE that we are back at Rock Horizon in this volume because I feel just as fired up as these characters and deeply LOVEDDDDD that turn of events involving Alice! She really is just growing and growing and so very proud of her!
Definitely cannot wait to see Yuzu have his moment in the next volume and honestly hoping that In No Hurry will continue to perform together even years after this series ends! (At least that's what I want to hope for in my brain! LOL!)

It's time for Rock Horizon again, and this year, they've got an even better slot. This new concert brings on new challenges, and a new opportunity for Nino in particular. She gets the chance to perform with another artist, which pushes her in a new way.
There's some potential progress between Kurose and An, which is good. He deserves something happy after his unrequited anguish.
Then we get a really sweet moment between Miou and Haruyoshi, in which Mious also gets some much needed closure regarding leaving the band. Somehow Miou and Haruyoshi have become my favorite couple without me realizing it, and definitely the most stable couple in this series thus far in the series.
As a note, there really needs to be a character page at the beginning of each volume.
Maybe I should watch the anime, at least to get a feel for what the characters sound like and how the bands sound. Aside from that, while this series isn't my favorite, it's still a very strong one and one that goes by very quickly. Very well written, too.

We get to see the band bonding and Alice/Nino enjoying herself again. I love the friendships between everyone in this right now, and I recently looked up the songs and I like the sound so that's making me even more excited!

Y'ALL. Y'ALL..... Y'ALL!!!!! This volume!!!!! I'm-
If reading the last bad volumes would lead us to this AMAZING volume, then I would do it again. This is honestly probably my favorite volume of the series yet. We literally saw the BEST character development FROM EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, AND I'M SO HAPPY. This is literally what I've been looking for for the last couple of volumes. Just as you thought the series was really starting to suck, Fukuyama-sensei writes this amazing collection of chapters. EVERY chapter was great from start to finish and EVERY character shined and really really developed! I am honestly gobsmacked and speechless at how great this volume was. I don't wanna discuss everything in detail simply because I want you all to experience this yourselves. But trust me, this is the biggest improvement this series had yet. As we are nearing our last 3 volumes, I hope the momentum never diminishes and Fukuyama-sensei keeps it up.

Nino’s curiosity for Girlless’ Mitsu is so adorable. Instead of being annoyed, she’s bewildered by his confidence.
Kuro is lowkey jealous of An’s guy friend who he thinks is her boyfriend and is so cute. Whoa! He powered through and asked her about the guy!
Yuzu, Nino, and Momo, the trio we never thought we needed.
Wow! Yuzu called Nino, “my Alice” when Mitsu asked if he can borrow her for a collab.
Damn, Momo dissing Yuzu that he didn’t like other guys calling her Alice other than himself, but he let her sing with another guy called Mitsu. Oh, wow, he even called Yuzu Shorty. And lastly, telling Yuzu that the Girlless punk version of Yuzu’s song is catchier. Bro, what’s up with your dissing? You’re on fire!
Even the folks from Girlless saw that Nino loves Yuzu’s music so much. I wonder if they are also right that Nino only loves his music and not Yuzu himself.

I love An. I love the spark she gives Kurose. What a fun addition she is! The cast has expanded quite a bit throughout the series to include lots of peripheral characters, other bands, and oddballs like Gummi (more Gummi please). I miss those 2 model kids. Hope they show up again. It's neat to see how fleshed out the series is, and the concert scenes almost always make you feel alive!
Rock on to volume 16... Rad.

Being on volume 15 is like mind-blowing to me, actually, and I think that's what it feels like when reading mangas. They go on for so long that you feel connected to the characters. I mean, I started reading anonymous noise last year February, and I'm now moving on volume 16, and I'm so connected to the characters, excited to watch the anime adaptation, and yea, I've grown attached to these characters. The highlight of this manga was Kuro moving on and finding a new reason to drum.

Woo! I’m so happy with the development in this volume! Nino’s finding her voice, Yuzu is writing again, and Momo is getting in touch with his emotions! <3 Kuro also had some nice moments, and Miou and Haruyoshi’s relationship is developing nicely.
Mitsu’s proving to be something of a mentor, too, so I’m glad it went that way instead of throwing in another love interest.

I was really excited to see the interaction between Nino and Mitsu because she had the opportunity to talk to someone who was where she wants to be and he could have helped her but that kinda ended badly. I really love watching Yuzu and Nino write music together. I'm really happy that Miou (and kinda Haruyoshi too) got closure.

Honestly, reading this series is just torture for me at this point.
I already know the ending and hate it but I will finish it.

Now that some of the triangle drama has settled (for now) and the plot is focusing more on the music drama, it's actually gotten better. Really looking forward to the next volume.

I really do love this series so far and was excited to see all the growth in this volume, as this really was a volume of growth.
The artwork, pace, and plot continue to be good and I like the characters still, all of them.
Can't wait for the next volume.
