I followed my heart from San Diego, California to Cedar Falls, West Virginia. Too bad that heart wasn’t worth the trip.
Thankfully, I had my job, new friends - which consisted of an entire motorcycle club I’d fallen into - and my newfound responsibility for a family that was torn apart by needless tragedy.

Dude!
Lol every time that came out of Surfers mouth you have to laugh. I loved G and Kade. That kid was great. Kayla I truly hope karma bites her in the a$$.
Wonder if Beth's book will be nest I would like her to get a HEA especially after what she has gone through.

Hmm gotta say I was disappointed. I love CM's books but this was pretty average and if it hadn't have been her I would have stopped half way.
Just no umpf. Sex scenes were non existent
Just the same as the rest of the forgettable mc books out there.
I expect so much more from this author.

ok i have changed my mind about this book, second time around i am really enjoying this story. the characters are well developed and its an interesting storyline! i don't know what i read first time around but i disagree with myself and my review above!!:) though it does slow down n get a tad boring around 66%.
I've upped the stars to 3 and i wonder if i didnt like this book so much cos i couldnt stand kayla so much and surfer continuously putting up with her shit and being a dormat? i cant stand seeing men weak and to me he came across as weak. not until his patching in day do we see him grow some balls and finally dump the bitch. finally!!!
just proves that sometimes, esp from your fav authors its so worth doing a re read of books you don't like the first time. I stand corrected.

Another case of a great story with wonderful characters and a HORRIBLE case of proofreading/editing.. So glad it was a KU because it wasn't worth even .99 for this quality of story. eorrs: me/my, messaged/messages, vandalism/vandalizing, in/it, there/their, the/they, poor punctuation, missing words or extra words in the sentences, the same as ALL the other books. Is she in too big of hurry to proofread? doesn't she have an editor? she really needs to slow down and read what she is putting out.
Great story line again, love the characters, really like the story as a new twist on the MC books but the editing errors are some my granddaughters could catch and they are in elementary school!

Surfer was a very cool guy. How he tolerated a mentally ill girlfriend for so long was hard to imagine. Hope springs eternal, I guess and he's a decent man.
I took a star because I didn't feel the chemistry between him and Gillian. I got that he cared for Kade ( cute kid).
Enough MC stuff to satisfy the genre, I think but they are trying to go legit. We'll see.

I couldn't put this book down. Love the Aces High MC. Gray goes threw hell with his x girlfriend. She's one crazy b*tch. Them he meets Gillian and Kade. Her past comes back to haunt them. I just love all the characters. I can't wait to read what happens next.

I really enjoyed this book, the characterisation and storyline were good. It's was good to see some of the old characters again as well.

September 24, 2024This book was full of likable characters and written by one of my favorite authors but it bored the bejeezus out of me. I liked the MMC in the other books of the MC spinoff but he was never book worthy. And this book really shouldn’t have been written. It added nothing to the series or to the world this author has written. If really likable characters with no emotional depth, in a non-exciting story are what you want then this is for you. Honestly, it just isn’t up to this author’s usual levels. I was seriously confused as to who wrote this book. At the very least it can be a palette cleanser. Good luck.

EMT Grey is beginning to open his eyes to the extent of his girlfriends manipulation and selfish ways
when she pulls another trick he is left with no other option but to relocate to Cedar Falls. On the upside he settles straight in with his new colleagues and is introduced to Aces High MC.
His girlfriend crosses a line and Surfer embraces his new position as a club brother. Fate has him attending a tragic accident one night, can something so wretched be the beginning of a happy future?
Another fantastic Aces High Cedar Falls read, brimming with tension, drama, crazy ex-partners and passion. Definitely 5*

All over the place but in a good
This storyline was full of twists and turns, which kept it interesting and so easy to read. The characters were appealing and down to earth, people that you would love to be friends with. I'm hoping that Hold-em gets his story some when. Although it's a series set around MC's it doesn't have the hard hitting and violence that most do, so if you are just starting of down this rabbit hole and don't want to be hit in the face by it then these books are a great way to start.

Great series
Another great book from Christine Michelle. This series is awesome. Surfer (Dude, lol) and Gillian are great together. Loved Kade. Can almost see a next generation book with him. Hope Chief gets his own book soon.

Great book
This book has it all rival motorcycle clubs, plenty of action and twists and turns, psycho ex boyfriend and ex girlfriend, murder, mayhem, sexual chemistry and romance, well worth your time to read.

I can’t believe anyone gave this a bad review. It was a very enjoyable read. I loved Gray, G and Kade. The story was well developed and a little different. Yes there were a view edits needed, but it did not overshadow the read at all.
Can’t wait for Book 3.

The character work was good. The story line was okay. This book didn't make me feel one way or the other. I really wish that this author would invest in a good editor that would help in actually editing and refining this authors books into something great.

Surfer
Omg I absolutely loved Surfer, Gillian and Kade's story. I can't wait to see the two of them have a baby together and Kade be a big brother and future member of the club. I love the saved High series and can't wait to see what happens next!

Where to start with this review....
First off huge fan of ALL ACES High MC books no matter what chapter it is. You fall in love with each and every book and the characters that Christine brings to life for us readers. This author is definitely a one-click author for myself no matter if it's MC genre or her Rocker Series (T.I.E.) all are amazing.
Surfer was an amazing addition to the MC. He was so cool under pressure and got stuff done when needed and NO questions asked. And that COVER of this book just WOW!! now that's a visual I can fall in love with just dang girl I want him! And the author knows whom I would love Wren to be woohoo! ok oops I digress but wow this cover right ladies. And it really helps that he likes the word "dude" like a lot.... he originally comes from California to help his girlfriend out but he's kind of ok well mostly kind of done with her and her crazy. I mean nutsy bobo (yes that's my word ok) crazy....yes "Alice" anybody?? Just put this way she's very whack!
Gillian walks into the picture and it's like the birds are singing and chirping and then the music just stops because she's a sight to see in Surfer's eyes. She's drop dead gorgeous. While attending a benefit for her best friends tragedy she meets the one. They have a chemistry from the start but guess what crazy has to be out of the picture first. Let's just say once the crazy is gone then the sparks fly and it's like meant to be. Well of course that's not all we can another form of crazy coming from her past coming and coming hard. Now crazy baby daddy......
Then we got Kade and he's a great little guy he will still your heart. He's definitely a future biker in the making and can't wait.

I normally pick a song to fit the book I'm reading but Christine's playlist hit it on the head with this one....I didn't find a song but I did find a quote that was just brilliant so here goes courtesy of Wren...."Jesus! It looks like you're smuggling a whole 70's disco worth of Afro down there....." and "tickle torture on his ass" lol I mean really I've got to have Wren's story.
I highly recommend this book and series.

What a great bunch of new characters in latest chapter of The Aces High - Cedar Creek series by Christine Michelle.
I have always enjoyed Christine Michelle’s novels but the various series she has released in 2019 have just blown me away - she can do no wrong.
As mentioned I loved the characters from Surfer to Gillian to little Kade (I loved that mischievous little kid). Surfer had such integrity. Gillian was genuine and had a sneaky wild side to her. Hated Kayla (but we’re suppose to!).
It was filled with little cameos from Smoke, Poppy and Brantley and the others from Cedars Falls.
It was a great story. Very believable and flowed well with great writing.
Once again a great book. One that I am sure I’ll re read again! Thank you again Christine Michelle for awesomeness!! Looking forward to Smoke And Flame!!

It’s ok
Christine Michelle quickly became one of my favorite writers, I have loved all her other Aces High MC books. Proven just didn’t do it for me. It doesn’t have the same flow as her other books, everything seemed very rushed. Didn’t feel any chemistry between Grey and Gillian. Hoping it is just this book and not a sign of things to come in her future releases. Christine also needs a better editor. Quotation marks were missing all over the place, and the person speaking changed in the middle of dialogue with no warning.

Love it
Ties is the 2nd book in this series that I've read, and must say I'm impressed by what I've already read.
Great story line. I didn't know straight away what was happening, but knew I didn't want his girlfriend to be his old lady. The way G was woven in was brilliant.
Will be looking at other books by this author.

I started reading this book some time ago as the first few chapters were on the authors website. Waited impatiently for it to finally be released and it did not disappoint. Really enjoying Aces High - Cedar Falls series. Best bit is book 3 is only a few days away.

Started reading this via the blog and discovered I couldn't find Proven #4 when I realised it had been published. Phew I was able to enjoy in peace.

Just a awesome read. Loved Surfer he was just so sexy and sweet. Being from southern California and then moving to New England, I got picked on for my use of dude and awesome. I could totally relate to the ribbing he took from the guys. The story was just a great read.

I have to say that this book is ok, but it did not get me yearning for the next. With that said others may be more enthused as I was looking for a different book and 'settled" for this one. I might enjoy it more when I read it again.
