Vampire story! Enough said. This was the first vampire book I have read since the twilight series. Very well done. Well recommended! What it means by a bitten past it means that!

A gripping and unconventional vampire mystery.
I really enjoyed this story – it was entertaining and kept me on my toes throughout. I was especially intrigued by the badass vampire heroine and her dark, mysterious backstory, as well as the secrets surrounding Great Fang.
The ending left me a bit baffled, but in a good way – there’s definite potential for a second part, and I’d love to see where the story goes from here. I’ve grown quite fond of Zoe and Karl and would be excited to meet them again.
Overall, the book had a unique vibe – like a vampire mystery crossed with a crime novel. A fresh and engaging read!

Interesting twist on vampires
So this story was interesting. Mystique is a vampire who hates vampires and being one. She believes she’s being hunted by the Royal Order. She’s feisty, explosive, defending and protecting her sister her most important goal. The pace was fast with a lot going on. I would have loved to have known more about the Royal Order and the back story. It intrigued me immensely. The ending does leave me wanting to know more.

*A journey of a vampire to find a truth about her past and to protect her family from enemies.
*Suspense and mystery ruling over the plot from the very beginning.
*writing style is very basic , one can easily connect with the story.
