Il tratto di Kamimura è eccellente, semplice, raffinato, sensuale e delicato.
Impossibile non esserne affascinati.
Trama che a tratti ha dell'assurdo, ma nel complesso molto cupa con la scelta di metafore e termini meravigliosa.

Illustrazioni magistrali che incantano a ogni tavola. Rispetto al primo volume, questo secondo capitolo è più spinto e intenso dal punto di vista sentimentale, esplorando con maggiore profondità il mondo interiorie di Yukie e anche quello di altri personaggi, come sua madre. Come nel volume precedente la poesia è onnipresente.

Finito il secondo volume di questa stupenda saga. Rispetto al primo è più spinto dal punto di vista sentimentale. Iluustrato magistralmente come sempre. Veramente bello.

Le Fleuve Shinano, Tome 2
I'm really enjoying this series, my first real venture into the graphic novel world.
I love the pacing and the whole feel to the story, from the mysterious start to the first volume in the series, to the various tragedies endured by Yukio in this second volume. Despite the pretty dark ambiance, it was an engrossing read of this girl's apprenticeship in life and love in 1930s Japan.
