This book is a study on the kind of anointing Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the governor had in their lives. It is a prophecy of the unleashing of powerful spiritual and civil power in the Body of Christ. Joshua represents spiritual or ecclesiastical power and Zerubbabel represents secular or civil power. We shall discover the powerful nature of the anointing in us. We are the sons of oil and cannot lose our identity. The Body of Christ has been operating with just one anointing – the ecclesiastical or spiritual power – without the corresponding anointing – the civil or secular power – for ages. We need the combination of these two anointings to fulfil our purpose on earth. We are in the day, spiritually, when these two anointings are coming together.
