Join Leah and Milo as their imaginations take them on a wild and crazy dinosaur hunt. Will they find all of the dinosaurs they see or are their eyes tricking them? But be careful, don’t get stepped on by a Brachiosaurus. They don’t have the best vision.
Pterosaur in the Hardware Store encourages active play and imagination in kids ages 4-8 and will have your kids seeing dinosaurs everywhere!

I love the imagination and education on dinosaurs!
I'm a huge fan of any book that encourages imagination and this book does an amazing job! I also love all the different dinosaurs mentioned and the info sheet on the back! My son loved it!
This wonderfully illustrated book combines two of my sons favorite things- tools and dinosaurs. It encourages kids to use their imaginations and be reactive with their surroundings. A fun read for kids!
My kiddo loves some dinosaurs so we certainly enjoyed reading this book. I think the best part about this read is how fun and imaginative it is. It embodies playful parenting, entertaining kids in the hardware store with the search for dinosaurs (in the shapes and shadows of the items sold there) while the mom does her errands. Brilliant, since it keeps the "Why are we here so long" at bay. I used a similar concept this morning at the hardware store to keep my kiddo from combusting. The illustrations are fun and cute, and this book is great as it teaches the different types of dinosaurs and their pronunciations. Great for reading aloud to kiddos and later for reading on their own.
Mom sure knew how to activate the imagination of her dinosaur loving kids as they made the most of a shopping trip to the hardware store! It was fun to watch them discover some of their favorite dinosaurs and then run back to find each other when they got spooked out when trying to find the Tyrannosaurus rex solo! I enjoyed this sweet story.
A wonderful idea that captures young imaginations!
This story is so much fun; I can imagine young readers being inspired to look for dinosaurs every where after reading this delightful story. Definitely one that you can read again and again.
