Sacrifice is the conclusion to the Succubus Dreams serial arc and this installment, like the previous is a bit longer and gives a tasty return to the steamy that this serial has come to be known for. The fight is on in this installment as Adie and the gang goes up against the Dreamer and its drones seeking to gain enough energy to once again access the human plane and bring devastation.
There are some intense moments in this book that literally had me catching my breath in anticipation of what might happen. I knew from the title of this installment that there would be a sacrifice of sorts, but I was curious as to what exactly it would entail. What happens is a bit to be expected, but at the same time…it’s a bit too expected for me.
I was a bit disappointed in that fact and that I was expecting some sort of struggle/battle with the Dreamer itself. I felt a bit let down in that aspect of the story. It was quite a bit of build-up for only so much to end up happening.
For readers who love a good HEA (even a temporary one since this series is on-going) they’ll be delighted with this book and the closing of this particular story arc. I know that there are going to be more antics to look forward to as this series goes forward so I’m excited for that.
I am rating this installment and conclusion to the Succubus Dreams story arc 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’m taking off half a star, because things played out a little too predictable for me. I wanted a bit more drama and battle and feel that things fell short.

The time has arrived for Adie, Her Demons, and her friends to face the Dreamer and its drones. It must be caged, the bridges must be destroyed to keep the humans and Dreamland all safe. I can't say that this was my favorite battle Adie has faced. The overall storyline was excellent but the divide it caused between Adie and her Demons frustrated me. However, we did get Jimboba and the BBBB, so worth it! Plus, I absolutely loved gathering everyone together, the succubus, the destruction demons, the witches, the hag, and the baku. We even got time with the imps! So basically I loved all of it except that Adie was unable to be with her men. I love their times together and never get enough. That final chapter was fantastic and was hopefully a glimpse of more fun times ahead. I hope Adie and her men have a bit of normalcy to just enjoy each other for a bit before she gets them involved in her next (mis) adventure!

This was an interesting installment to the Succubus Harlem Series. It picks up right where the other book left off - at the begging of the fight with the Dreamer. Personally i feel like while the fight was good it was almost anti-climatic. That being said it was interesting how Adie defeated the Dreamer.

The only complaint i have for this installment is some of it got a little confusing as to what was going on in the story - i know a lot was going on but some details a little off for me - that being said i still enjoyed the book and am ready for the next one!!

Satisfying

Just satisfied with the ending to this chapter. Addie has come a long way in understanding her place and what needs to be done to have a normal life for her and her guys. Loved the last chapter in this book.

Wow

Never disappoints so much love and drama and conflicts and family reunion working together to defeat the enemy. She made things happen that many wouldn’t believe in the demon world.

Great Ending to the Dreamer Arc

I love how the battle ended although I can’t imagine how Adie will top her strength from this arc in the next. Looking forward to Feb’s book!
