"Ethan, what's that up ahead?" I asked, gripping the door handle. It's almost Valentine's Day, and when Mia Jordan and her boyfriend Ethan Banks discover a car accident on what is supposed to be a relaxing day off from work, they're crushed to find it's a friend who has died. When that accident turns out to be a crime scene, can Mia and Ethan catch a killer? Halloween is celebrated all year long in Pumpkin Hollow. There are no paranormal elements, just good clean fun. And a murder, of course!
I didn't love this one as much as I've loved some of the books in this series. However, I can fully admit that the reason for that (I think) was entirely personal and not at all owing to the merits of the book.
I am missing the fall and winter themed cozies (my favorites), and I just don't get as excited by the other holidays. As I said, that's about me, not about the book, itself.
As for the book, it was just what I've come to expect from the books in this series. It was a cute little cozy about the death of someone in the small town of Pumpkin Hollow.
I did suspect the killer, but not until a little after halfway through the book.
I recommend these cozy mysteries to anyone who likes holiday themed cozy mysteries. I will mention, however, that if you're like me, you may find that you prefer the ones that are centered around the holidays that make you happiest.
I really love this series!!!! Mia and Ethan finally get a day off to do something fun, but is short lived, when they find a car has crashed into a tree. To find out it is a friend of Ethans', Wow, then wonder was it an accident or who would do this and Why? As Ethan finds out no accident, the investigation begins, there are alot of rumors going around town about different suspects, it's got Ethan and Mia puzzled!!!! Now, you have to get this book to find out what happened and who did it and WHY??????
The last of this series thus far, hoping there will be more . As you know my reviews , I really enjoy this series. Evan tries so hard to do his investigating but Mia and Christi always seem to get involved. Such an enjoyable series.
I really enjoyed this story and the series so far. Great characters, adorable small town setting. Love the descriptions of the candy store. Can’t wait to read the next one.
I love cozy mysteries, this series is no exception. I love that I can go from one to the next without stopping....well until I get to end. Please keep writing
