Noah Rise of the Pride, Book 10 By Theresa Hissong
Noah Shaw has a secret, and the only person who knew his true nature took it to her grave. The presence of Landon Bryant is a test to the desires he keeps close to his heart, but he refuses to separate himself from the human male when his mating scent reveals his true feelings to the pride.
Landon Bryant’s only goal in life had been to start his veterinary practice and learn to live with the scars of his past. From the moment he first laid eyes on Noah Shaw, Landon wanted to know more about the male. As a human, in a world of shifters, he finds solace in being accepted into the pride of panthers while living on their protected lands. His new home comes with the ability to be closer to Noah, but he isn’t sure if Noah is the right male for him.
The news of Gadaí wreaking havoc on the human world will put the Shaw pride on the streets to hunt the alphas who created them. The shocking discovery of female rogues will change everything the pride has ever vowed to keep sacred. With the new threat, Noah will set aside his demons to protect the humans and his people.
As the new war wages outside of the pride, Noah and Landon find peace with each other, binding themselves as mates. Will Noah’s pride and family stand beside him when he makes the ultimate decision to make Landon his in soul, body, and blood?
Theresa is a mother of two and the wife of a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. After seventeen years traveling the country, moving from base to base, the family has settled their roots back in Theresa’s home town of Olive Branch, MS., where she enjoys her time with old friends and family.
Theresa daydreams of the perfect love affair and takes those ideas to paper.
TH work is still likable. A quick flow, spontaneous writing that you will read whatever she wrote. Though, I been waiting for this book to come out, I never expected that this book will be a gap book. A story that has an ending but still there is a continuity.
I been weighing my scores between 2 & 3 stars. 2 for it lack a depth that can be found mostly in TH works, or the passion that runs through each of the book of the rise of the pride. I am really tempted to put 2 for in my mind this one needs improvement or something is lacking in this one. But 3 stars prevail, for maybe it lacks compassion but it has love. It may lack depth but an ending is always a beginning. Transformation might not be as good as the previous but still it has results. And maybe in my mind I'm not satisfied with what I have read but still life has to move on, probably next time...
WOW!!! Another 5 star MUST read by Theresa Hissong! Highly recommend this book and the entire Rise of Pride Series!
Where do I begin?!? I LOVED everything about this book and since I'm not one to give away spoilers because I wouldn't want a great story like Noah's to be ruined for me before I got to read the book myself, I will give my review like this......I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Noah, Landon, Taze, Calla, Evie and the entire Shaw Pride, as well as rogue shifters and some new characters that Theresa Hissong has brought in this exceptional Series. If you love reading about the paranormal, falling in love, action, excitement, good versus evil, strong females and their mates who love and cherish them with every fiber of their being and a book/story that you never want to end, Noah's story and ALL of the books to this Series is a MUST have. ❤
This is the tenth book in the series. I think they are better read in order for a better understanding of the series. This book focuses on Noah and his mate. The pride must also decide if they are going to help protect the human world from rogue shifters, Gadai. Noah is not in the closet he just doesn’t talk about his choice of partner. Landon has been living with the Pride recovering from what he went through. He has a vet clinic in town. He lives with his brother and brother’s mates. Noah believes Landon is his mate. But he worries Landon isn’t ready for what that would entail. When things with the Gadai get worse Noah can’t fight his need to claim Landon. The Gadai are like they were in the past. This time they are fighting dirty. They are using females knowing it will make it harder for the males to catch them and stop them. Will the Pride be able to figure out who is behind the Gadai and stop them? I couldn’t put this down once I started reading it. I love this whole series and always look forward to the next one. This one was no different. Fantastic job Theresa.
Yes, finally we find out what is Noah's deal. What a deal it is. So remember Landon, Cole's brother, yeah these two are the same. So Noah has a secret that no one knew except his mom. So we find out why her death hit him the hardest. She was his confidant. He knows that his panther is telling him something about Landon and he understands but he is waiting for him to heal. Landon sees him but is not sure what side he bats for until he finds out. Which in a way is funny how that happens. Dane, Olivia and Cole sit down with Landon and explains the mating process to Landon. He is human and learning about the shifters. However, they are no longer up against the community, they are now fighting against the rogue shifters. Noah being a guardian is out on the front lines of all fighting. Landon has some choices to make. So what will he choose? I can say that this story I cried for the heartache Noah endured and the pain that Landon is going through. Will they be able to heal each other? You need to read to find out.
This is Book 10 in the Rise of the Pride series. Wow, what a good book! This one definitely keeps you on your toes. Noah as a secret that will surprise you so I recommend that you read it to find out the secret. I do want to warn you that this isn’t a sweet love story because it’s not! Noah and Landon both have things in their pasts and the future is gearing up to be wild since there’s a new war going on that the Pride will have to get involved in. The life that the Pride knows is changing. Can everyone make it through the change is the question, isn’t it? Go find the answer for yourself. It’s worth it!
This book was just as good as the rest in this series but, had more of a relaxing feel to it.
Noah is gay & the only person in the the that knew died (his mom). But, ever since he meet Landan he knew that there was something special about him.
Landan had been tortured & the found & was recuperating in the hospital when he met Noah; but, he never thought that Noah would be interested in him. Boy, was he wrong about that.
There’s still a good vs bad plot in this book as there’s a new badie in town but, you’ll have to read the book to find out what or who it is.
I actually loved this book. Touching on a loving gay relationship was wonderfully done. I couldn't wait to read their story. What impressed me the most was that Landon wasn't dying. He was very smart in gathering information before making his decision. one of the things about this series is that you know before hand what the next couple/book is going to be if you recognize the clues. I keep reading because I want to know if it am right. I will finish because I think I know who the master mind is.
Oh my the most action and adventurous one yet! We have been getting hints of Noah's story through out the past few books and I loved it. Finding his mate and their finaling getting the touch and confirmation of their being fated mates was wonderful. But oh no now I'm all caught up and have no more to read of these. Great job I love this series it's wonderful.
Both Noah and Landon secretly desire the other. Neither is ready to reveal how they feel. Landon, Cole's brother is a local Vet. Noah is a guardian. The guardians are asked to help police the Gadai'. Will Landon and Noah get their HEA? Read this spectacular story. So well told. Secret passion turns into real love. From a True Fan... Pam James.
Noah from finally gets his mate! Threats to the pride and humans are on the rise, and the masterminds are proving very difficult to find. In the middle of the danger, Noah finally takes the step of beginning a relationship and mating. Heartfelt and passionate love story with a background of tension and danger.
Another amazing book in this awesome series. Noah has kept a secret from his brothers and the rest of the Pride. Once Noah sees Landon he becomes protective of the human. Landon has been through a lot and feels like he isn’t worthy of Noah. Will they have their happy ending or not? Read this book and find out. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Noah has known that Landon is his mate, since he met him the first time in the hospital after he was taken by a cartel that had some issues with his brother Cole. Noah is unsure how to tell everyone he’s gay as the only person who ever knew was his mother, but she’s gone now😢
A really good story and I’m looking forward to Taze and Calla next❣️
I’m so happy for Noah and Landon but wanted mote from their story. It seemed so short and focused but on to many other things! I hope another book is coming soon for this series!
So glad that Noah has got his happy ending with Landon, but will the war that is going on around them be one? Calla is doing her new job but will she put two & two together to see what is going on!
I was expecting something a little different then this i was dissapointed because this book was a gap book it didn't do anything and left it open for the next which should have been this book it didn't do anything for me sorry to the author this one Just wasn't me
I have loved Noah from the beginning of the series. So happy he found his mate in Landon - there are still threats to the pride, hopefully all will be well in the end. Enjoyed this story alot but wanted more of Noah and Landon.
I have been waiting for Noah's book for awhile now. He has been one of my favorites. I loved it. Landon was just what Noah needed. I feel like they needed each other. I can't wait to read the next book!
Loved seeing a MM book! Only wish that their intimate scenes weren't to vague and rushed through. Other than that, the book was amazing, just like the rest 💞
I enjoyed this book. I really liked the connection between Noah and Landon, even though it takes awhile for Noah to actually tell Landon that they’re mates as only his mum knew the truth that he’s gay. It wasn’t that Noah was ashamed it just never came up, Talon was so busy training to become alpha and Kye was too young so that’s why he spoke to his mum about how he felt. Talon was a bit upset when he found out about Noah and Landon as he could smell Noah’s mating scent as he wondered why Noah never came to him and told him. Noah knew that Talon and the Pride would except him but he was worried that if he came out before becoming a Guardian that no one would want to train with him so he just kept it quiet. It was awesome seeing everyone accept Noah and Landon without even batting an eye. I loved how thankful Talon is to Landon for him loving Nate. This book focuses a lot more of the Guardian and Protectors fight against the rogue shifters, the Gadai who are causing issues in the human world with robberies and kidnapping human females and changing them against their will so there’s not a lot of build up with Noah and Landon’s relationship but you still get a sense of their feelings and see their relationship grow throughout the book. I liked getting the wee snippets of Taze and Calla and I’m really looking forward to reading their story since I’ve been invested in them since Taze ran his mouth and disrespected the females for wanting to learn to fight but after he got told off by Talon he apologised and decided to help train Calla to fight, where they became close friends, until Calla stopped her fight training after she turned 20 years old, as she’s decided to get her law degree and work in the human world to eventually help protect the Pride and shifters a like by using her brain instead of her fists. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
