I really like this book. Yes, it was simple, but it interactive and has some neat options for extension into the classroom.
If the teacher had the resources to buy a lot of beads, students could create their own bracelets and have classmates continue the patterns.
If not using beads, students could draw a monster with a necklace that had a pattern for classmates to describe.

Simple language which has encouraged my kids to try and read, and inspired them to make some beaded necklaces as a project
