A quick read as a focused approach building from the framework of Michael Fullan and Joanne Quinn introduced in their book Coherence: The Right Drivers in Action for Schools, Districts, and Systems.
Readers will be provided with tools and rubrics to help with their improvement planning.

While I am sure that the concepts of this book are worthwhile, the way the book is written makes it ridiculously hard to follow and understand. I was so hoping to read a book that I would be able to implement in my school. After having read some of these chapters multiple times, I don't feel that I could implement what I read with confidence.

Read this for graduate school - I really enjoyed reading of all the success stories the author has had, creating cycles of improvement and aligning efforts throughout the district. Good strategies for really hitting the core of instruction and keeping the focus of efforts "on the student desk."
