The Immortal's Destiny
Emotions are high in the vampire family as they once again return to life on the run.
With Abigail now in power of the Calder clan, they appear more organized, disciplined, and deadlier than ever. While Jared and Calla are mourning the child they never got to have, and the rest of the family racked with guilt over the fact, they all agree that their main priority is protecting Mira. Morgan and Veronica come to the conclusion that the best way to protect the family, would be to separate them into groups: scouts, recruitment, and a core group to protect Mira. When it comes time to separate everyone, however, Morgan doesn’t have the heart to ask Jared to lead recruitment, knowing all he and Calla had just been through, and faces Veronica’s wrath in order to oversee it himself.
Migrating to new locations every couple of days to keep the Calder off their back, the family struggles to find any sense of normalcy. Kristian and Tessa crave stability to raise their daughter, the realization of the turbulent environment they had brought Mira into. They still wouldn’t change it for the world—their only hope is that their problem with the Calder soon resolves. However, nothing with their family could ever be so simple.

Loved the book but too too too short

Time to talk
With the vampires on the road again Kristian has a talk with Jared trying to clear the air. Apologizing to Jared for all he has done to him and Calla. Jared also has his chance to get stuff off his mind and tell Kristian exactly how he feels about what they have put him and Calla through. Tessa and Calla also have their talk. They all really do care for one another and hope they can find their way past all the hurt and craziness. In the meantime, Veronica and Morgan are trying to work some things out for themselves. Everyone must get past the hurt and move forward.
Meanwhile, the Calder have found out where they are and almost got Calla, but Kristian saves her. It is time to leave grasshopper. lol. The next thing you know, they are in a fight of road rage and fire trying to get away from the Calder.
It is when they are all safe at a hotel that they ask Calla to ask the Firehaven for help to fight against the Calder. How will that turn out? I left a lot out so you just have to read the book. I can't wait for the next one!

The Immortal's Destiny (The Vampire Prophesies Book 7)
Tessa and Kristian's bday is here and it's a girl. Now Calla have to give her up knowing she will not have another. The Calder because is after them and Kristian make a big decision to go after the Calder witch's and not wait for them to come after them. Will the First witch help them? Great story.

Such an ending
Why do we not know how the battle goes. Do the main charactors all survive? What about baby Mari? Story good as always another book but did not like ending of the 7th.

It just keeps getting more interesting. Can't wait to start the last one in this series to see if calls get to become pregnant or if she turns into a vampire.
