Ok
This story was just ok for me. There were some inconsistencies like she said she met her friend Liz back in grade school and a couple chapters later she met her when she started university. I wasn’t a big fan of Jason. He was definitely a manwhore who didn’t care much for the women he took back to a hotel, never his house. He really didn’t care if the woman came or not, it wasn’t his main concern when he hooked up. He was a wham bam thank you ma’am kind of guy. Not cool. If my heroes are going to be manwhores they at least need to be really good guys. This was a super quick read so I really didn’t get a chance to get to know the characters or feel their connection. I will read a few more stories to see if they are better.

Safe. No ow drama, om hits on h and H rushes him off. No real drama. H is a 37 year old manwhore and h is 21 with only a few experiences under her belt. No abuse.

For Keeps is another quick and sexy story by Matilda Martel She is quickly becoming one of my favorite steamy short story authors. There is a line from the book that best describes what it is about - "good friends, dive bars, and one-night stands that just don't end."
Ashley is a young college student. On a Friday night she plays "wing woman" to her best friend and roommate, who is looking to get under someone so she can get over the cheating and possessive boyfriend she just broke up with. To do this they end up in a smokey dive bar that is where the cops hang out.
Jason is a 35 year old cop (from the description I am thinking detective). He is single having a drink when he spots Ashley after she walks in. He definitely wants her for at least the night as he just loves her luscious curves. Jason ends up dealing with a perv that approaches Ashley first and it is instant panty wetting from Ashley when she sets eyes on this over 6ft, muscle on muscle Alpha.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Ashley and Jason. Ashley went to a bar with a friend to help her get over a breakup and she met Jason. Jason was a cop and when he saw a creep talking to Ashley, he stepped in and got rid of him. Ashley was attracted to Jason, and when he offered to buy her a drink, she accepted. Jason wanted to take Ashley home and when she agreed, Jason knew she was different. Later, when Ashley woke, she left before Jason was awake, but she didn't leave a way for Jason to find her. Jason tried to find Ashley, but she hid from him, only making Jason even more determined to find her. Jason wanted more with Ashley and she was scared. I liked this quick and steamy read. I really liked Jason and thought he really cared for Ashley and knew she was going to be more to him. Good one.

A fast paced steamy hot read. You are hooked right from the beginning and glued till the end. A fast pace read great for your lunch break or just before bed. The chemistry between Ashley and Jason is off the charts. A short, sweet, and steamy love story about an older Alpha male and his younger curvy girl obsession.. You will enjoy this one.

This story will keep you on the edge of your seat from the instant and off the chart chemistry between the characters! It is full of hotness and is a great balance of story and erotica! An instalove romance that is short, steamy, and to the point. Definitely recommended!

Ashley was reluctantly dragged to cop bar where she meets Jason and instantly sparks fly. All the characters are likable, the plot is interesting, and the story is easy to follow. Not much story. A whole lot of sex. Not much to recommend for this book. He’s kind of a jerk. She’s scared then not. Mostly everything is hard to swallow.
