The book is a must-read for every woman/man who wants to have a kid or who have one already. There is a lot of practical information, as well as general knowledge, that is backed up with the science and medical researches.

A very easy-to-read practical guide for thriving and nurturing your body through pregnancy and motherhood.
The author, Emma Brockwell is a pelvic health physio whose passion and desire to equip women with knowledge really shines through in this book. This guide is packed full of info on how to heal effectively from birth, how to tackle common and treatable pregnancy and post birth conditions, and how to return to exercise safely. If you work with pregnant or postnatal women (especially as a physio), its a great book to recommend to clients.
This book aims to break the cycle of new mums believing that debilitating conditions during pregnancy and following birth are 'normal' and should be put up with... there is so much that can be done and Emma has done an incredible job of showing women this, and empowering them with easy to digest evidence-based material. Emma also shares a lot of her own pregnancy/birth experiences which I think makes this book all the more relatable.
A very informative, reassuring, and empowering book that all new and expectant mothers should absolutely read.
