Rate this book
Harry Potter meets Ninja Scroll! Shonen's past in the infernal realms tortures him to this very day. The haunting memories have driven him to train in ninjutsu his entire life, seeking a way to defeat his cursed the Shogun's heir.  Now an old enemy from his past appears, and offers him a chance to finally settle the score with the heir once and for fall... in the ultimate duel.

Kai's present is he's scrawny, pimply, has no athletic ability, no money, sucks at school, at gaming, and especially with girls. However, he's about to find out that his past is not what he's been told, and he doesn't realize just who he is... or what he is.

Immortal Ninja Academy is a new series inspired by anime such as Naruto, Demon Slayer and Ninja Scroll, as well as academy series such as Harry Potter and My Hero Academia. It has explicit content that is for mature audiences only!

Some things that are in store for —Tactical, yet visceral fight scenes. —Explicit love scenes, with a good dose of romance. —Cultivation of internal powers, similar to Wuxia Cultivation books and Gamelit. When you sit down and open it on your kindle, you'll feel like you are watching an awesome anime like Ninja Scroll and Demon Slayer!

Staggeringly unlikeable protagonist.

Protagonist starts off as zero. Reasonable. Common story approach, almost cliche.
Then he gets his radioactive spider bite, letter from Hogwarts, etc. moment. Goes zero to hero literally overnight. Not interesting but whatever.

Guy who starts as a humble nice guy nerd immediately becomes an arrogant hot-head. If he had any more interaction with the Sleeper world I’d call him a bully. As is the soccer thing is weird and stupid. Why is he playing these 10-0 games? He’s disgustingly thirsty for social attention and status, even though his activities in the Sleeper world are glossed over. His classes or any Sleeper friends are never discussed. It makes sense cause he was originally an ostracized loser, but his obsession is played as normal. It could be interesting if he was shown as walking the path to becoming a bad guy, but everything he does is approved of by the “people we like” crowd.

Great

The author said this took 5 years to bring to completion. It was worth it! A great story with complex characters. A setting that I find both familiar and unique. The dual MC perspective was done with just the right touch to keep the reader engaged in both plotlines. Can't wait to see the confrontation between them, and what comes thereafter.

Who doesn’t love ninjas, and gone thru your I’m a ninja phase as a kid!

Good paced read, mystery building into action and exploring family history, friendships, Kia is an easy character to capture you, can’t wait to read more especially after reading the last lines of the book, did not see that coming.

Interesting!

As it mentioned in the book description it is a interesting take on the Naruto type story with an adult slant.

Decent story

First half of the book gets 2 stars , second half gets 4.5. It’s almost like two different authors wrote it. I really enjoyed the second half of this book and hope he writes another in the series.

Great book

I thought this was a great book loved the story and the content my only criticism is there were a few words missing from some sentences like you were typing to fast and skipped them.
