A successful architect, happily married to his high school sweetheart and with two beautiful daughters, Mark White has the perfect life. All of that changes when he and his best friend set out on a weekend fishing trip that goes terribly wrong. Raised on the ocean, both men thought they knew all its secrets, until they are faced with something unthinkable. The Devil’s Triangle was just a legend. That’s what they had always believed. Now they must fight to survive as the Triangle sends them through a time warp that threatens everything they love and leaves both men on the brink of death. Trapped in the past in a world they don’t understand, they must find a way back even if it kills them.
I just couldn’t put this book down. I had to find out what happened. What a great mystery . I had to keep reading to find out what would happen next . Since my twenties ( over 50 year’s ago) I have read everything about the triangle. It has always been an exciting read. This one just kept the reader involved. Thanks I finished this one will there be more. I am hooked.
I was pleased to discover this author 's characters felt like real people who were caught up in the myth. how the men coped with their problems were well resolved. what if every time they went out in boats trying to get home they landed in other times. The tales could be recounted for the children after the return so he would not have to get caught again after this book ends.
Having had a long-time interest in the Bermuda Triangle (a cousin of mine and her husband were actually shipwrecked out there for several days many years ago), I delved into this book. The ups and downs of losing a loved one at see kept me glued to the pages. The time travel was a bit out there for me, but overall it was a intense read with a surprise HEA. I recommend this clean suspense novel.
This was a fun read! A creative "mashup" of Gilligan's Island, Back to The Future, Kate and Leopold and The Lake House! Thank you, Jennifer and Debbie, for a pleasant escape from reality :)
Horrible writing at the beginning. Too much sickening "waiting for the love of her life to call" and other non-realistic love talk. Then, I realized the thing that would be scary was probably an actual thing and I didn't want to finish it. I like psychological thrillers, but this seemed very horror. Not sure if it is, just can't finish.
