A very informative book. I liked your approach, practical, informative with good content. I loved your Einstein quote. It is the starting ignition and the ability to be ruthless that is missing from many people's resolution to declutter their lives. Mine included. I agree that clutter increases your stress level and can weigh you down. It is lovely to see homes in Architectural Digest and other home magazines and often sigh ' if only mine could look like that'. Well, this book gives a very good explanation, and direction to help anyone getting started on re-structuring their lives because in effect by getting rid of the unwanted, unloved, unnecessary things we surround ourselves with, we can free our minds also. Madeline is right in saying, that decision fatigue can be the enemy of your progress. The saying, ''One can't see the woods from the trees' is in reality what happens when we allow our clutter to overpower us. The author has an excellent, logical and practical approach to creating some order back into our surroundings. I am glad to have read this book and highly recommend it for anyone who needs a little inspiration and push in decluttering their environments.

This is a how to book on how to declutter your whole life. That means, your living space, your physical possessions, your finances , your workspace, your family activities, yourself, and your mind. It’s a tall order but suggestion on how to tackle each area is given. It is a positive book full of motivation and a “you can do it attitude”. Taking the time to do it right and develop it into a way of living -not just a quick clean up. I enjoyed reading the book and found it motivational. There are things I noticed in my life that need decluttering and I will be using her suggestions and tips to do so. I hope you find this book as useful as I have.

The cool part about this book is that instead of focusing only on decluttering your house, she advised on all parts of your life you can declutter. I skimmed the chapters that didn’t apply to me as much but this book can be enjoyed and utilized by anyone looking to declutter any aspect of their life!
