I've read other mash-ups of Pride and Prejudice with Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, but the three ghosts always visit Mr. Darcy. In this unpublished fanfic, it's Elizabeth who gets the ghostly treatment.

She's with her aunt and uncle Gardiner in Lambston, and they plan to tour Pemberley the next day. Elizabeth becomes more and more uncomfortable with the thought of visiting the personal home of the man whose marriage proposal she so cruelly refused. By the time she goes to bed, she has decided not to go.

Then she's awakened by the three ghosts in succession. Elizabeth knows and trusts each of her spirit guides to the past, present and future, who each show her one scene.

I was disappointed with the resolution. Elizabeth doesn't get up the next day believing that her visions were anything other than fantastic dreams, unlike Mr. Scrooge. Since she's wasn't a miserable human being to begin with, there's no dramatic turnaround - she simply agrees to go see Pemberley. I do like when her vision of the future comes true. Cute but not compelling reading.
