A cosmic noose tightens around our heroes’ necks as, once again, they are tasked to fight a war not their own. Their every move is watched, their every action, thwarted, yet failure here will seal the fate of countless billions to something worse than death. Can Jack, Mike, BT, Trip and Kalandar find a way to overcome the odds that have been stacked against them, or will it all come crashing down upon their heads? Follow along as our small band of dysfunctional brothers do all that they can to ensure the universe doesn’t fall into the hands of those that would use it for their own vile purposes.

Tufo and O'Brien skillfully blend the POVs from their respective imported protagonists (Mike Talbot / Jack Walker) to create another great installment in this series. And Trip? He's still a trip. This was the best book in a few, and a good sign for where the series is headed.

Better and Better

Two of my favorite authors writing a fantastic series is exciting enough, but this series is a Trip! Pun intended! Mike. Jack, Trip, and a whiny version of BT are despatately trying to find their home realities in a crazy world overrun by all types of creatures. More questions are answered, and the guys must work together to save all the realities in order to go home. Characters I already know and love together on a wild action packed adventure! Both authors add their flare and style and it blends so well. No spoilers! What are you waiting for? Read this great addition to the series. I can hardly wait for the next book to see where our gang has landed.

I enjoyed this book, and the entire series. Monsters and horrors out of the imaginations of two of my favorite authors. The collaboration of O'Brien and Tufo, with their unique and very different writing style, creates an excellent read. I never knew what was coming next. They team up several of my favorite characters from their own separate series. It is an unusual mix and adds some humor. I recommend starting with the first book in the series.

I AM not a fan of Big and Beautiful BT. The addition feels like useless filler. He's not even good at anything. I think they are in the house from the Spirit Clearing, so that's cool. Kalandar is a huge plus, even though he IS a demon. The Jack parts got so bad in this one it took me 3 months to finish, and I only accomplished that by just deciding to forgo those sections entirely.

The adventure continues...

This one was less funny and overall a bit darker than the previous ones. The story is unfolding in a very interesting way, and the character growth is good. I'm still enjoying it!

Great book

From bad to worse. The world is getting very unstable and the team hadn't found the way out yet. On to the next book.

great series!

I thought I’d start this series because I’m a fan of Mark Tufo. Couldn’t put it down and am getting John O’Brians books also

Absolutely love these two authors and their collaborative work on this series is brilliant.
Really looking forward to the next book but sad to hear it'll be coming to an end soon.

Reread - getting ready for the final book in this series and the reread has been just as great.
