I always forget how young Los Angeles (as we currently know it) is.

LA has had French, Italian, German and most notable Mexican era architecture and influence. The addition of freeways post WWII was a turning point for LA.

Fascinating to see how the city looked before. Very different them what we know of today. Most pictures are from the downtown area and most locations do not exist anymore.
