What's more dangerous? The lie? Or the ramifications that follow after the fact?
That's what I've been asking myself. Secrets were told, trust broken, and sacred blood spilled. The puppet master has finally been unmasked.
My world has been flipped every way possible and I'm trying desperately to hold on to the life I knew, but like everything else, it's a lie. Taking down The Power? Easy.
Taking down the man who started our game of guns, drugs, and violence will be a miracle. Lies I'll have to tell, trusts I'll have to break in order to succeed could tear everything we've built, everything I've gained to pieces.
Clyde, Cass, Dalton, Cam, and all of the Berserkers. My rash decisions have cost them--and it won't happen again. Ever. Club first.
I'm cutting the strings of the puppet master. The most dangerous crime lord on this side of the country, whose connection to me fuels the raging beast, the reaper inside. I've flourished. But some say emotional connections make you weak. I say bulls***. I'll die for them, kill for them. And that is exactly what I'm going to do. While they plan reconciliation, I seek Retaliation.
Print length is 449 pages.
**Retaliation is book 2 in the Berserkers MC: Bay Lake Chapter Series. This is a Reverse Harem Dark romance with possible triggers and is fully intended for a mature audience**
An action packed MC series with a feisty strong FMC and amazing male harem members is just what I need!
At the time of this review, there are three of the ten installments of the series out available on KU.
The story revolves around Kat, a bar owner, who has ties to the Beserkers MC. She is scrappy and mouthy. She rushes into things half cocked and doesn't hold back. I just love her! But, yeah, she has some maturing to do even though she is in her early 20's I think.
I look forward to seeing how the series progresses. Highly recommended for MC loving RH fans.
Yup, just as disjointed and over dramatic as the first book, but it’s so over-the-top that I can’t stop reading.
Fundamentally, the characters still feel like caricatures of real people, they are inconsistent and lack any real depth, and so far I see absolutely zero character growth for any of them. Maybe a tiny smidge with Clyde, but it’s very, very little.
So, lots of drama here with the characters behaving reactively to everything, but it’s also steamier than the first book. Has at least three explicit open-door and very descriptive scenes, plus the RH is now up to four men.
Things to note: multi third-person POV, substance abuse, alcoholism, miscarriage, mention of previous sa and new threat of sa, mention of past physical abuse (by one of the MMCs)
The story line is pretty good a little jumpy but questions are usually answered fairly quick. The romantic scenes are hottish. But my biggest issue with all of the books in this series has been grammar and kinda out right bad editing. In one book she says chilly but it's spelled as Chili and there are blatant missing and misspelled words to the point I had to double check if I skipped a line and even deleted and redownloaded the book thinking it was a kindle error. I look forward to reading more but I hope in the future her editors help correct those issues.
WOW, this book had me on the edge of the seat from beginning to end. This book was edgy, suspenseful and gritty. It will keep you reading and turning pages till the end. It moves along at a great pace, which was the perfect speed for this book. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you know them personally. You want to be there with them to help them achieve what is needed no matter what. The story grabs you and does not let you go. I cannot wait to read the next thrilling book in this amazing series.
I have read this book before and will probably read it a dozen more. I only gave it 4 stars because the ending always makes me mad. Why did she have to kill those people????? I know why she decided too but I wish she didn’t end up going to jail lol. Feels like it just put a whole wrench in the plan. Love the addition of Cam and his goofy character. I always hope Clyde will change but only time will tell. Definitely recommend reading this series though

So this story picked up right where the first book left off and did not stop. Action packed from beginning till end. When you think that you know what is going on, you end up surprised. There are so many twist and turns that take place and the cliffhanger at the end. I need the next book now.
Ughh I am so conflicted with this book. I absolutely loved Dangerous Lies, but this book left me...feeling..idk...confused. The ending was lacking. No type of resolution to Clyde and Kat. The whole thing with her brother’s murder. Jail with no type of rights. So many grammatical errors. Honestly, I need a do over!
I am impressed with the story content in this installment. Though some of the characters seem to come out of nowhere , it's easy to follow who they are to the club and to Kat. Good story line and interesting bunch of characters. The only negative is a lack of good eduting, which detracts from overall enjoyment.
It's not really the book series for me. It's well written, has a bunch of good sex scenes, but the plot isn't want I'm really looking for. It's different from the other biker reverse-harem books and it's all about Kat finding revenge and her harem gets messed up after she goes away to jail. Not really my cup of tea.
Oh my god. This definitely had the action I have been looking for. Definitely hot, dirty and bloody. The ending definitely makes me wonder what is going to happen in the next installment. So excited.
This book went dark. And I loved every dark minute of it! There are so many sexy men to drool over too. Kat is even more bada$$ than she was in the last book. The twists in this book had my emotions every where. Another fantastic read. Can't wait to read book 3.
If you can get past the spelling mistakes and grammar issues then this story is quite good but the author seriously needs some help with the editing 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
This picks up right where the last left off and it's just as good as the first. There's plenty of action, twists and turns along the way. You'll be hooked needing more.
Hello everyone!! Fixing some issues with the ebook version and I will Have it submitted tonight. (Format, and some missed grammatical errors and spelling) sorry for the issues. On my end it shows it’s fine, but on the readers end it’s a mess.
so many questions answered, and yet so many new ones started. The wrtiting and charactes go deeper than before. It made it hard to put it down. I need more. I need to know what happens next.
