I loved this short action-packed paranormal read that leaves you on the edge of your seat.

Book Three of the Vigilante Series continues on Eric’s dark and sinister path and introduces Markus, a new dark and brooding character that I hope will somehow save the day.

Alivia is a nerdy librarian with low-key movie star looks and is a yoga buff to boot. She’s unassuming, intelligent, and though she’d deny it, she’s looking for real love.

Markus is a vampire with a mission to keep the universe in the balance until he’s thrown off balance by Alivia. If he chooses to pursue her, he’s putting himself in danger.

As always with Hall, you can expect a lot of ass-kickings as well as love. I love the fast-paced, page-turning nature of the read and the continued world-building. The reader gets a clearer view of all the paranormal things that makes up The Vigilante’s world.

Be warned this book ends on a cliff-hanger. LOTS of juicy secrets FINALLY get revealed with the promise of more to come!

Side-note: readers get to peek into Ashlyn and Jadon’s lives now as they grow into normal coupledom. They still have the fire and it’s cute to see them interact and move through the dailiness of their relationship.

Lawrence Hall Vigilante Assassins was a great read in a new world that has me intrigued. This book took me hostage, it was a page turner I couldn’t put down. Now I must admit I haven’t read the first two books. Honestly, I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything, but when I have more time I will be making a trip back to catch up for sure. Hall writing explained it all, so can be read as a standalone without getting the minion gif look, you know that huh face I’m talking about. So thank you Mr. Hall for that. I loved this book. Vampires, chaos and nerdy librarians what’s not to love? What hooked me line and sinker wasn’t only the main characters Markus and Alivia or the excellent story line, but the incredible fight scenes in the book. They were perfectly described and legit a movie action film going on in my head. You know I like a little bloody action in my books. Now this book does leave you with a cliffhanger and more questions, but honestly even though I curse like a well-educated sailor when this happens, I’m a cliffhanger addict. I love the feel when you get to download the next book and receive all your answers you’re looking for, a small adrenaline rush I look forward to. If you looking for a new paranormal read, check this book out download it today.

What an amazing book! This story just grows and grows the more you read. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone, characters are reintroduced and a basic story so far is given, but if you’ve read the other 2 books it adds so much more to your enjoyment.
This book introduces us to Markus Colvin, who is a little more than meets the eye. I enjoyed learning about his alter ego The Hunter and how he fits into this new world created by Lawrence Hall. There are a lot of brilliantly described fight scenes, no detail too small, these were great for adding depth and realism to the story.
The book ends on a cliff hanger, there are more questions at the end than at the start but you just know that the next book is going to blow your mind! Alivia is an interesting characters, very shy and almost scared of her own shadow, yet she still exudes a strength that pushes her forward and she’s not afraid to do what needs to be done.
It was nice to see Ash and Jadon again and to see them moving forward with their relationship and being a bit more playful than in previous books. I genuinely can’t wait for the next instalment.

This book is amazing. I gave it 4 stars because I am basing my review as a standalone book, as I have not read book one and two. I am definitely going to read the previous books and I am sure it will bring this review up to 5 stars.

The characters in this book are re-introduced so I didn't feel like I missed out however there were moments when I thought 'what?' and had to re-read.( I think this wouldn't have happened if I had read the previous books, however Lawrence has a great writing technique that is descriptive so I quickly caught up).

I usually never read paranormal romance books, so truthfully this is my first. I actually really enjoyed it! As I said previously Lawrence has an amazing writing technique that is quiet descriptive, this is amazing especially for the fighting scenes as it brought it to life! Within such a short book there is a lot happening. It really keeps you interested. This book does end on a cliffhanger. So watch this space!

This is the Third book of the Vigilante’s series and it can be read as a stand-alone book. I love paranormal stories and this book was and excellent read full of action pack moments that left me on the edge of my sit. This book is based of a fictional world were 4 pillars keep the balance and there is different enhanced beings that help with this balance. All the characters in this story played a very important role but the story mainly evolves around Marcus a very old vampire that keeps the balance between good and evil and Alivia a librarian who happens to be Ashlyn sister which is Jadon’s girlfriend. (Jadon it’s the Vigilante) and the daughter of one of the 4 Pillars of the world. From the moment Marcus sees Alivia he has this feelings that he never experienced in all the years his been alive and Alivia can’t comprehend why she can’t stop thinking about Marcus.
The story ends on a cliffhanger and the ending just makes me want to read the next book on the series.

This is book 3 out of the series. It can be read as standalone but I prefer to start with book 1 in series anyway. So I’d still recommend starting there.
We’ll be introduced to Markus Colvin a vampire who is supposed to keep the balance between good and evil in the world. As the vigilante crossed a line in book 2 Markus is after him now. He gets distracted when coming across the librarian Alivia, Ashlyn’s sister. They feel a connection right from the beginning. But Markus is supposed to walk his life alone. Will he keep on track and kill the vigilante or follow his distraction? Let’s not forget to mention Eric Dean…. My heart rate literally picks up when he shows up.
I love seeing Ashlyn and Jardon together. Ash is still badass and there interactions are fun to read.
Please be aware this one ends in a cliffhanger, thank goodness book for just came out so I can continue right away.
I highly recommend this page-turning, paranormal, super hero, steamy unpredictable read.

Alivia is going on a date with her boyfriend. Little does she know he's breaking up with her and then leaves her with the bill. Marcus, who keeps the balance between good and evil, pays her bill. She is the sweetest scent to ever smell. He loses his focus which is not good. Alivia works as a librarian and helps a guy look up some information. Then in comes Marcus and again he is distracted because of her. Her sister moves her boyfriend in, little do other's know he's The Vigilante. Meanwhile, Marcus keeps running into Alivia. He is confused because again causes him to lose focus.
So much happens in this book. Secrets, intrigue and drama. Will Marcus continue seeing Alivia or will he kill the Vigilante? Read for yourself to find answers, if there are? TBC!

This is an intriguing contemporary, paranormal romance set in a fictitious world. Markus is an immortal and he is charged with maintaining balance in the universe. It's a task he's performed for eons and he's content with it. Then he meets Alivia, the sweet and sexy, if a little introverted, librarian and the meaning to his life shifts dramatically.

This is the continuation of the Vigilante series, but it is the start of a separate two-part account about Markus. I have not read the first two books in the series and found that wasn't a problem at all. This book is written skillfully enough to fill in on what went before.

I thoroughly enjoyed the premise and look forward to the next part! If you enjoy super-hero stories and vampire romances, then what are you waiting for?

Just when I think I know where The Vigilante series is going, Hall throws me for a loop. The Vigilante's Assassin adds a layer to the overall Vigilante series that is truly unique and intriguing. We see plenty of returning characters from the first two books as well as meeting newcomer Markus. Is he a bad guy with good intentions or a good guy with bad execution? That remains to be seen. There is plenty of gore, laughs and intrigue in this book. The story does end in a cliffhanger, so keep that in mind.

This third book of the Vigilante series is action-packed!

I really enjoyed the continuation of the series, the characters, and even the cliffhanger.

I’m not normally a fan of paranormal romance, yet, I really have enjoyed this series from Lawrence Hall. His descriptive writing keep you engaged, constantly turning the pages to see what happens next. As I said, there is so much action it’s easy to keep reading and become completely engrossed in the story.

I highly recommend this one!

This was so interesting and so descriptive that you can't help but feel like you are actually there. Markus and Alivia are so great together and you can see how they are perfect for each other, even if they are so different. The story does end on a cliffhanger but it's so good, that I can't help but wait anxiously for the next one.

Phenomenal book!!!! Well written, strong characters, and intrigue for miles!!!

I would suggest reading the first 2 books to fully understand the back story, but technically this is a Standalone within the series.
