Dorran’s father is supposed to be dead.

But he’s not.

Dorran is finally settling in—things with Eli’s parents are going well, even though Eli’s mom is still uncomfortable with their relationship, and Eli seems to be more accepting of Dorran’s ability to see ghosts and Francis’ presence in their life.

Then Dorran opens his door to find his father, Angus, on the other side.

Dorran grew up thinking his father was dead. That’s what his mother told him, and Dorran never doubted her. He clearly should have, though, and now he’s confused and unsure whether or not he wants a relationship with his father.

But when Angus is arrested for the murder of his mother-in-law, Dorran can’t abandon him. Angus might have done exactly that when Dorran was three, but that’s not the kind of man Dorran is.

Catherine is the creator of several series, most of them paranormal, including the Whitedell Pride Series and the Gillham Pack Series. While she graduated in translation, she decided to go the writer’s way because it was more fun to create her own stories and characters.
She’s been living in Italy for more than twenty years, but she’s a daughter of the North—Belgium to be precise—and she misses it so much that she’s already planning to move back.
She loves pizza—probably too much —her pets, and of course, books. She sneaks some reading time in her schedule every time she has five minutes free from writing, demands from her various pets and son, and lastly, housework.

I really don't understand how can some character leave his children for years, just because he had problem with his ex-wife. Angus, father from Dorran, story plot was weak, but acceptable. In overall, I'm glad Dorran helped out. It was a predictable story, but still enjoyable one, too.

I loved this story! So many conflicting emotions and difficult choices! This is a great addition to the series, the plot progression is awesome and guarantees no boredom! It was a great read!
