WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?! THIS BOOK IS A LIE!!
This is not a reverse harem, this is a VERY short story about a woman who meets four guys, goes on boring dates with three of them and fucks one, missionary style and he doesn’t even make her come. Don’t get sucked in by the cover, the title or the blurb. This was lame.
NOPE!!

Reverse Harem Novelette

This is a very fast read, but even with the reduced length, there is still some substance. There is a surprising amount of detail that I had no issue visualizing the characters or scenes. Yeah! Plus, grammatically it reads wonderfully and at a great pace.

Things progress organically, as situations align, but do not purchase thinking there are multiple hot intimate scenes involving multiple partners. There is one semi-steamy scene between Holly and a gentleman (sorry not telling 😘, that would be a spoiler).

There is also very minimal swearing, I think it it something like 6 words, so no real trigger warnings from me concerning this story.

I gave it 5 stars because it delivered exactly what it promised. A short story that is fun and flirty.

A quick overview of the story:
Holly owns a gift shop in a Sydney hospital. Despite her name, she is not a fan of Christmas, having had the holiday spoilt by her parents when she was young.

She meets, or has her foot broken, depending on your interpretation, by a very interesting guy. Whom is wearing an interesting choice of outfits, while caring a giant teddy bear to cheer up his niece. True LOL moment …

Later, she gets extremely upsetting news when her gift shop is flooded by a burst water pipe. The only good thing to come of it, is she meets the maintenance man.

This leads to a set of circumstances that causes her to meet a nurse in one of the hospital wards. This in turn lets her meet his brother.

All, to Holly’s great surprise, seem to be interested in her … Go Holly!

Not the quantity of spice I expect from why choose

I enjoyed this short story, alot! Absolutely loved the concept & storyline. The men are amazing! The FMC is adorable & relatable. This would have been a 5-star read, but it lacked the amount of spicy scenes I've come to expect from why-choose romances. There is one, ONE, spicy scene that was pretty short & kinda low heat. She only hooked up physically with 1 of her men on page. There were so many opportunities for scenes with the other 3 men individually, & the last chapter was the perfect set-up for the group scene expected from this trope/genre. But it was not meant to be sadly. I'd love a full length, extended novel of this short story! This just felt like the beginning, a prequel novella, for their relationship & I'd love to see it in its entirety! A great quick read, but leaves you unfulfilled.

Sweet

Awesome story. It's so cute and heartfelt. I loved this. It could've had more action and a deeper plot, but it's still sweet
