First off, I like the aesthetics of the cover of the paperback version of this book. Over the other Filipino teen flick covers I’ve seen, this is a step in the right direction even if the cover design barely has any relevance to the story or theme of the book. This looks so professionally done!
I am really not a fan of Wattpad teen flicks because I find most of the tropes it utilizes kind of annoying so I kind of expected that this book will have the same tropes that these group of books have. Spoiler alert: THEY DO!
Though, I like the friendship between Puma, Chord and Dilly. Cooper's side story kind of provided the emotional pull of this book, even more than the past of the trio could provide.
