I Saw What You Did

Rate this book
If you're on his list, he'll make you wish you were dead.
"I saw my husband kidnap a woman forty minutes ago."
Shortly after Emma says these words to a 911 operator, her husband, Paul, is arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and murder. His victim, Alison Bowles, is found raped and strangled hours later. The evidence against Paul is irrefutable: there are traces of his DNA on Alison's body, and her hair was discovered in his trunk. The police believe he may be a serial killer.

Paul insists he's innocent and claims he was with his lover, Julie, at the time of the murder.

A few days after talking to Paul's lawyer, Julie disappears without a trace. Emma is surprised to find out that all fingerprints in Julie's house have been wiped off.

Where is Julie? Why were the fingerprints wiped off?

In her search for answers Emma uncovers a diabolical conspiracy masterminded by a serial murderer. He has a long target list, and he knows who he'll kill next.

More an unfinished rough draft.

This book is strictly narrative that rushed along with zero character development. Told from the points of view of various characters, there is no focus, and who is who gets confused. This could be an interesting plot, but this book is far from finished. It even has parenthesis ' around critical plot points, rather than take the time to develop and introduce the point within the narrative itself.

She saw it happen!

What a great read! I actually thought she was right. But then afterwards, right smack dab in the middle the whole story changed... What a great story. Weird ending though but I'm on to book two!

When Emma suspects her husband of having an affair, she has to know the truth. With the help of her newest friend, she decides to follow Paul and catch him in the act. Tailing her wayward husband, hiding in shadows, Emma sees him kidnap a woman. This can't be happening. Certainly, he is slime, but to kidnap an innocent woman and force her into the trunk of his car? Surely, she is seeing things. But Emma is a good person and she provides the police wth information on what she has witnessed.

When the victim's body is found raped and murdered, Paul is looking at a life sentence. How will Emma explain this to their son? Paul's parents are livid! How could she?

But Paul has an alibi, he was with his lover! Now if his lawyer could only locate the woman. And why won't Emma believe him? She has to know he would never kill someone. After all, he's an attorney... they habe a good life together... he lives her. ( funny way if showing it!)

As Paul tries to convince detectives that this is all a mistake or a set up, he falls further and further down the evidence rabbit hole. How can this be happening.

As Paul attempts to untangle the events that are ruining his life, more and more people are missing or dying, and the connections seem to point to a conspiracy.

Mixer keeps the reader guessing as the bodies pile up and connections start to form. Will they figure it out before the killer reaches his/her quota and before the victims are ruined?

Emma’s plan was to finally catch her husband cheating on her. Instead, she sees him shove a woman in his trunk, kidnapping her. This obviously gets off to a great start, but, of course, initially the woman and her friend are constantly asking the same questions. Was he raping her? He must not be done with her? Will he kill her? Will he let her go? This was too repetitive. Fortunately, it doesn’t stay this way for too long.

The police arrest the husband, who has no idea what’s going on. Could this all be a mistake? Was it someone that looked like her husband that Emma witnessed? But the dead woman’s body had his DNA all over her. How do you explain that? Very interesting!

Of course, the husband is confused and denies it all. It wasn’t him. He’s innocent. However, everyone, including Emma, believed he was a killer. Who was telling the truth?

Story was much better than the family abduction case. What’s really going on here? You just gotta know.

I thought this might be a worthy read, but then it starts to taper off by like chapter 25 (77 chapters in this whole thing – really LONG). It gets really SLOW, complicated, and confusing. It’s still better than the last book though.

Excellent reads and bonus book too!!

Okay, now I'm sold on Tim Kizer's books!! I just absolutely love it when I find new authors to love😃😃
The first one was definitely a non-stop read. You just have to keep reading, because the story is truly bizarre!! Then you realize there's a second bonus book, which is also a non-stop read!! Two GREAT books in one, I'm seriously loving that!!!
You most certainly can do no better than to grab this book! You'll be turning pages because you just have to find out what this twist is about, only to come upon another, or maybe 2 or 3 more twists!!

I was hooked like a fish!
I couldn’t put this book down. Right from the start there was a lot going on and I was intrigued to see what lengths some people will go too to seek revenge. It was a great story that kept me glued to the pages as I didn’t want to miss what was unfolding on each page that I turned. I enjoyed this book immensely and highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the storyline and the pace of this story. The characters are all believable, but someone is lying, who is it?
I never figured that out until the author disclosed it! What an amazing story!!! If you haven't read it yet, and you like thrillers...get it now! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout.

Keeps you guessing

I saw what you did was slow to start but kept me guessing on what was actually going on the entire time. Well written and lots of details make you feel like you are in the story rather than just reading a book. The story is told from multiple viewpoints and has several storylines that don't seem to connect until the end.

Mystery Suspense

Psychological suspense is how I would describe both I Saw What You Did and Mania. Two twisted tales. Although both are well written with interesting characters, the first was the better story and by itself would have been given 5 stars. Mania isn't bad, just somewhat hard to follow.

Mediocre Read

This book was just ok to me.
A lot of back and forth with a lot of characters.
Was just a so so plot. And the ending was a bit weird . Held your interest even though not much going on with the plot. Some things were to repetitivel.

Good book, but the story only continued half way through the book. The rest of the book was a different story. Not sure if the second story ended, because I wasn't going to read only to find out it was just a teaser. Not sure why the author did this.

Didn’t think it would ever end.

Took me 4-5 times to pick this book up & sloughed my way through it. Over a month. Wasn’t a gripping thriller, more like how much longer does this drag on.

Disappointed

The more I read the book the more confused I was . Even going back a few pages or chapters didn't help. The ending made no sense

Confusing ...

There were many good parts and features in the first part of the book, the second not so much. I'm not interested in reading any more from this writer.

Excellent storyline. It switches characters back and forth later in the book which is a little hard to follow at times, but over all great read!

This book is very poorly written. The plot was interesting at first but then events just plod along. There is no suspense and very little in the way of character development.

Good thriller

This book kept you guessing until the ending. What a plot for revenge. Can't believe the way they framed everyone.

Had the potential to be a very good read, but after hearing the same thing stated over and over again throughout the book, I gave up. I never finished this; maybe another time in the future.

The main story, "I Saw What You Did", was a really good story. The other story " Mania", was really weird.

Our heroine sees her husband kidnap a woman and all the evidence points makes him look guilty, but all is not as it seems.

I found this to be a rather intense and engaging thriller. The story is plot driven, so we don't get a lot of character development. Instead the focus is on the plot which is both fast paced and unpredictable, with several twists and turns along the way that keep you guessing as to what comes next. It worked for me as I was drawn in at the beginning and couldn't put it down. Overall, a very enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.

I just finished this book and I liked it. I thought it was entertaining and kept my interested. I think it could have had more twist and turns than it did. It was pretty straight forward and nothing to keep you guessing. Other than that, I would recommend this book.
