Shanae Johnson was raised by Saturday Morning cartoons and Afterschool Specials. She still doesn’t understand why there isn’t a life lesson that ties the issues of the day together just before bedtime. While she’s still waiting for the meaning of it all, she writes stories to try and figure it all out.

And by the way, the E elongates the A. So it’s pronounced Shan-aaaaaaaa. Perfect for a hero to call out across the moors, or up to a balcony. If you hear him calling her name, please send him her way!

Author needs to do research

No rancher or farmer would EVER jeopardize his or her livestock by signing away water rights. That just killed the entire premise of the book.

Water way

This is a good book written by Shanae Johnson and I enjoyed reading a lot. A young rancher woman, firing her ranch hands, A retired military man and his men, setting up a trading camp, realizing having to lease water way, her exworker destroyed her fence,
her bull escapes, attacking a jeep, injured, lawyer, her preacher brother performs a marriage, helping on the ranch, start setting layout of training camp, branding calves, more troubles. Will he make the deadline for the camp? Will there be more trouble on the ranch? Will they fall in love? Will they have a happy ever to? I would recommend this book to everyone. Buy the book to find out what happens. Enjoy the book.

The Rancher takes his Convenient Bride is the fun first romantic story in the Rangers of Purple Heart Ranch series. Ranger Tony Keaton and cattle rancher Brenda Vance make great leading characters for a really entertaining storyline. Shanae Johnson reminds me of Mary Connealy with her fun and irreverent humour that just enjoys human nature. The Rancher takes his Convenient Bride is filled with descriptions of settings, characters and moments, which also brings about expert character development and a great romance.

First book I have read by this author, looking forward to reading more in the future. Well written with believable characters and a fast paced story line. A young rancher dismisses her ranch hands due to the fact they won’t follow direction, now what should she do? Newly retired Army Ranger, Keaton is planning on building a training facility, will they be able to combine their plans to work things out?

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Another winner by Shanae Johnson that pulls you in from the very beginning. The characters are so real and the story is written in such a way that you feel you’re a part of it. Proves that there really is someone for even the most independent strong-willed person. Brenda felt she had no one to depend on until retired Army Ranger, Keaton showed up making her realize sharing responsibilities actually works. Go on this bumpy ride with them as they get their own HEA! Beautiful love story 💗🏆

The ranger and the rancher-- a love story.

Some would call it love at first sight, but it much more. Two strong willed people who had a plan, not necessarily the same plan. Heroes and a villain helped to make a great story. Good, easy read with strong characters. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, enjoy I did.

Book review

I loved the characters and the redemption of stubborn hearts that yield to love. Manual got what he deserves, so it brings a sense of justice. No vivid love scenes make the book very enjoyable to read.

He had a plan and she had a plan they just had to come together

I liked the way the story had them getting together and showing that family comes first. How things work better when put together.

Best So Far

Loved this book. It had mystery, respectful love, kindness, and lots of adventure. Much better without the explicit sex in it. I didn't have to skip pages because of that. My kind if book.

I would normally be skeptical about a marriage of convenience story, and the “magic” of the Purple Heart Ranch, but I really enjoyed this story! The military aspect was so appreciated, as was the alpha female. Thanks for a fun read!

Teamwork

I would consider this a novella as opposed to a novel. It is a sweet love story about love at first sight, having a dependable support system, and leadership. A worthwhile read.

Brenda and Keaton just fit. I enjoy their story of how they finally came together. Shane Johnson catches your attention and I love her writing. Her efficient manner kept me from skimming the pages and that was wonderful.

The Rancher takes his Convenient Bride

This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The storyline was a bit different an Army Ranger rather than a cowboy. It was a lovely romance.
