Glock & Nina: A Hood Love Story
The streets are no place for a lady, but when there are no other options, the streets are where one must go. With money tight and a child to raise, Nina hugs the block just like her brother. She was taught the game by her child’s father, but it quickly backfired, and she was left to raise her daughter alone. With a heart as big as Nina’s, you would think she was soft, but everyone in her hood knew how she got down. Nina and her brother, Dough, have a close relationship, but even he wasn’t expecting her next move. Nina steps into her own and becomes the woman no one expected. Glock is a woman’s dream. He knows it, and he uses it to his advantage. With money and his gun to back him up, he moves around the city as he pleases. Glock quietly runs the streets, but when he steps on the scene, everyone knows who he is. Glock has high standards for the woman that he settles with, which is why his mind is not on settling until he meets Nina. She had a nasty attitude, and she hugged the block like one of the boys. Who would have thought two strong personalities would link? Glock thinks he’s ready for love, but a deal he made with the devil will slow that down. Glock and Nina’s love will test them both. The streets belong to them, and they will remove anyone in the way of their money and their love.

Great Read
Nina was out there trying to make it happen for her and her daughter since Sean started getting high on his own supply. Although her brother Dough would've done anything for her. Nina didn't want any hand out. Dough should have taken heed when Nina told him Taylor was sneaky. Taylor extracurricular activities came to light when she got busted. Glock came into Nina life at the right time and treated her daughter like his own. His past came knocking at the door and shocked Nina. She had no clue about the secret he was hiding. For Kayelynn to not want Glock. She's doing a lot of lurking and done something underhanded that put Nina, the baby she's pregnant with, and her daughter lives in danger. Kayelynn has no clue how treacherous Nina will get when it comes to her child but she's about to find out. I'm looking forward to part two

for me this was a good read. there are a lot of twist that you dont see coming. these characters have layers to them. when you think you know what is going on it turns out to be something different. i dont know if i want to love these characters or throw them away. this story keeps you reading and anticipating more to come. i love the fact that this story shows the struggle of drug abuse (the ones you love using and you having to survive with selling drugs). i love that this story hits on loving someone even when they do you wrong. you can love from afar. the ending makes you want to keep turning the pages the Cliff Hanger was everything. this book was worth the read and i would recommend it to anyone that loves urban fiction.

No she didn’t leave me on edge like that. Nina jus can’t catch a break with Kaye lingering around. She thinks she’s untouchable. Bre is a mini gangster in the making and Nina should be proud of the way she handled things. Glock is never around when ish hits the fan. I wonder what secret he has to tell. Dough is self destructing and I pray Jasada is his safe haven. I need pt.2 ASAP

Great Read
Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. I couldn't put it down.... a page -turner. It was full of action, drama, secrets and lies with some twist and turns. Kept me wondering what's happening next. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters.....these characters had me guessing. The more I read the more I'm drawn into the story; especially, after that ending. I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Jenica Johnson.

What a cliffhanger. I thought they beefed up security at the house. Why was Glocks’s wife able to walk up to the door ? I’m glad Nina shot her. What could he possibly have to tell her about his wife now ? I thought he had her in check, obviously not ! Please don’t keep us waiting too long for next installment.

Omg this was a great read. I was 30% into the book and didn’t want to finish because I knew it would be a part 2 that’s not out yet but it was just to good I couldn’t stop. Love all the characters even the shady ones. Ready for part 2 now!!
