I've already reviewed each of the Venus Rising books separately but rather than just copying and pasting those reviews here I wanted to give you an overview of the series since this box set contains all 5 stories.
This series starts with Jessica attending the Venus School of sex where she gets to experiment with her sexuality and fulfil all of her wildest fantasies. She went there hoping to learn her preferences but she didn't expect to develop feelings for two of her instructors. She's thrown for an even bigger loop when she returns home only to discover that Justin and Chris both work for the same company as her and that they're both interested in dating her outside of the school. Their developing relationship is the focus of the whole series and while they have fantastic chemistry from the get go what I really appreciated was that this series also shows how difficult it can be to maintain an unconventional relationship when the rest of the world start passing judgement.
There's no denying that this series is hot as hell but these characters also go on an emotional journey that was really satisfying to read about. Not only do they have all of the normal relationship issues but they also have to deal with disapproval from family and friends who can't understand how a triad relationship could ever work. Luckily they do have supportive friends though. Jessica's best friend Hilary has her back from the beginning (and the relationship that develops between her and Liam, one of Justin and Chris's fellow Dom friends, is another highlight of the series!) and they also get a lot of support from members of the Stronghold sex club where they all like to hang out on a regular basis.
I'm not going to lie there are definitely some editing issues with this book with missing or incorrect words etc and I wasn't always comfortable with some of Golden Angel's word choices but there was something compelling about the characters that kept me hooked throughout. The Venus Rising series also introduces a lot of characters who get their own books in the Stronghold series and I honestly can't wait to start reading those too.

Are they meant to be
This author has really outdone herself with the re-release of this series, and she even did us one better by setting us up with the wedding of the century. You are going to find yourself falling in love with the couples from these books and maybe even wishing for a school of your own. I can’t wait to see what this creative mind comes up with next.

If this school was real, I would certainly be signing up as a student. This author has an uncanny knack for having her characters take on a life-like quality where you really feel you are in the room with them. Her ability to use descriptors to promote better visualization and an emotional connection with her characters is phenomenal. I know that some areas of the school are not for everyone, myself included, but keep in mind that it is a school to allow experiences and personal growth. I really enjoyed the relationship between the three main characters. The only thing I would have wished for is no cliffhanger. But I have faith that these three will find their HEA by the end of book four. Regardless, I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Building something to last
This book flows so perfectly from where The Venous School left off, you are going to want to read it before venturing between the pages of this one. I love that the author really focused on the building relationship between these three and how quickly I was pulled back into the heat of this threesome in the making. These three have to overcome a lot to be together, but as Jessica gains her confidence in herself and her guys they just might make it. I am really looking forward to the next book to see how this plays out for them and their friends.

This author manages to merge reality with romance in this third installment of the Venus Rising series. She really showed us how emotionally difficult it can be when your family doesn't support your lifestyle. Thankfully Jessica has her men to help her through. The intrusion of the outside world on their relationship adds a depth to the story that you don't find a lot of books. I also enjoyed the addition of Hilary and Liam both as a couple and the way they all interacted as a group. You gotta have your support group. I can't wait to read the next book by this author.

Stand up for what you believe in
I love these two couples, they have been through so much only to almost lose it all because of family and what society thinks is acceptable or not. But the author helps theses characters learn what they love and need in order to give them the strength to stand firm in their beliefs. Because of that their relationships only get stronger and the love they feel only gets deeper. I don't know what the author plans to write next, but I can't wait to find out.

Will they finally say I do
Just when you thought it was over, we got invited to the wedding of the century. Every time I read the wedding invitation, I wondered if these would finally find the HEA they have struggled so hard for. Of course, once the family got together and the drama started I knew we were in for one wild ride. Nothing like a gathering of family to test the bonds of a relationship. I was so glad that these three are ready to stand the test of time. I am really looking forward to the next book by this author.

First book is The Venus School; This is the story of Jessica who wanted to experience more out of her affairs than what she had in the past after breaking up with her boyfriend, who wasn't happy with her need for more.... She decides to go to the Venus School of Sex to learn more about her body and how to get more out of her sexual encounters...she meets two instructors at the school who work at the same place she does, who have been interested in her for a long time, but the instructors all wear masks, so Chris and Justin don't worry about her knowing who they are. She takes quite a few courses in her two weeks at the school and looks forward to all of them...the second book is Venus Aspiring; After getting back from the Venus school and discovering her two favorite teachers work where she does...but to make up for their deception, they both date her, sometimes one at lunch and the other for dinner and movie and sometimes together for a weekend...she can't decide which one she wants. Neither of the guys are jealous of each other and both willing to share...but are they ready for what society deems as right. The third book is Venus Desiring; the new trio, Jessica, Jason and Chris find that her parents are not as accepting of her love for her two men as she had hoped. She and her mother discuss the situation as her father not willing to meet or hear out her reasoning on not deciding between her two loves...meanwhile, Hilary is still not dating, so decides to return to Stronghold and see if she is willing to learn more about her submissive tendencies. After her scene with Liam, she is undecided in what she wants...she is drawn to Liam and agrees to go out, even though her is not her normal Preppy type of guy. The fourth book is Venus Transending; finds Jessica was text message shamed by her ex, Sean because she is seeing two men...he got several of his friends to text messages to her calling her vile names and suggesting lewd behaviors. Sean included her brother Jay in the people he told. Jay was reluctant to see Jessica, so she hijacked him from his apartment, showed him the texts and took him to dinner to meet Chris and Justin. Jay liked the guys, especially Justin's cooking, even told his mom, who also was avoiding Jessica...meanwhile Hilary and Liam are growing closer, with him meeting her overbearing mother who questioned him on the merits of spring or fall seasons for a wedding and handled the interrogation she gave relatively well, while discovering her dad can talk about the English language through the entire dinner and the final books is Venus Wedding where Chris' father is trying to stop the wedding, although he disowned Chris because of his choice in a polyamorious relationship. He sent his brother Steven to make offer of cash to Justin and Jessica...but you will need to read the set to see what happens to the trio...I voluntarily read these books through an Advanced Reader Copy.

The Venus School of Sex
(Venus Rising #1) Never thought I would have been the MFM type but this story was told with so much skill and concern that I was able to get into it without no problems. I loved how the guys took their time to get Jessica into the groove of different kinks and was able to work her up to the more adventurous things the school had to offer. I cant wait to read the next book.

(Venus Rising #2) OMG!! I didnt realize that this was the stories that started it for STRONGHOLD!!! OMG!! Once it hit me that I knew these characters from the other series I was all for reading this in one sitting and couldnt wait to see the whole gang come back together again. I was able to read this as well as enjoy the audible!! I am waiting for book 3 to make it to my kindle anytime now.

(Venus Rising #3) I am so loving how this group of friends came together and reading the 'before' on all of them is just great. I love it when a book can branch off from the others and the characters can cross over. I get the new feels of the story but the warm fuzzies of the familiar with the characters. I am waiting on edge for the next book to see what will happen next!!!

(Venus Rising #4) I was so ready to yank Jessica's out of the book and beat the crap out of him!! I thought that was so rude, mean and vindictive of him to pull such a stunt! OMG! I havent felt this way about a character in a while...lol
Venus Wedding: an MFM romance
(Venus Rising #5) The whole story leading up to the main event was good, my most favorite part was the actual wedding. It was so cool to see how their friends all took part in their special day to make sure that it went off without a hitch. It was something that I would like to see on the big screen or maybe even PassionFlix.

I loved this whole box set! It starts off different then other books with Jessica going to the Venus school. And it moves on in the next book to Jessica finally meeting and starting her relationship with her guys. And then it continues in the next one with even her friend Hilary getting into a relationship in the third book. Then it finally gets to the next to last book showing Jessica's family their relationship. And then it finally ends with the wedding! I loved these books from start to finish. And since I've read the Stronghold series the past book was even better! I love this author and I look forward to more books!

Good
Since this is the box set of Venus rising you should know it's very long. Also with all the books together it seems like sex, sex, and more sex. Which I'm mean we like sex, but it gets to be a little too much sex. If read as separate books it would be good though so just keep that in mind. Between all the books and the last wedding book there are relationships that happened that I had not read about. So somewhere in between the books and the wedding book you should look into some separate books in the Stronghold series to see where they come in. Otherwise you will be reading about couples that were single before the wedding but are couples at the wedding,.

Love, love, love, love, loved this box set. I had already read the first 4 (they’re what got me started reading BDSM books) so when I heard there was a wedding OMG I had to have it straight away. I bought the box set to refresh myself with the characters and I had to stop myself from reading the Stronghold series again before I read the last story. Can’t wait for the Marquis series to come out I love these characters so much. I’ve just read the list of your other books and can’t believe how many I’ve actually read or are in my library to read next. You are an excellent writer and I am a huge fan xx

Ok this boxset lead me down a rabbit hole. I stated with the Venus School which I loved. It left at a cliffhanger so I had to read the boxset. The following books weren’t as good but not bad. It was just slow at some parts and sometimes a bit ridiculous but not in a funny way. I also ended up skimming thru some of the sex scenes just to get to the story. But I did enjoy learning about the different characters in their lives which made me want to continue reading about them in the Stronghold series.
For me the 1st book Venus School and the last book Venus Wedding carried the whole series. So glad that beginning and ending was 5 stars. I had to stop reading Venus wedding when I realized there were a bunch of characters I had no clue about and the timeline was way in the future. So I ended up reading the whole Stronghold series (which I loved) then came back to finish with The Venus wedding. 4 boxsets in total but worth it imo if you want to read about variety of kink, friendship, love, and lots of ridiculous humor. Each boxset gets better imo. I’m about to start the spin off series Masters of Marquis.

A surfeit of pleasure
How on earth can you review a box set? Each segment is different. I guess I'll just throw out some overall impressions and you can take them however you like. Golden Angel is definitely one of my favored writers. She has a tendency to get carried away with some of her sex scenes but I just skim them and read on. I think she's one of the best at making her characters' emotions clear to her readers. She has a keen sense of what I would probably feel in a similar situation and communicates it. Her books are peopled with lively personalities who are usually charming, even if they are a***oles, which is a lovely attribute if you think aboubt it. I enjoy her spice, even if it's not for me. This is a marvelously interwoven tale you're sure to gobble up if you can stomach the kink. Don't miss it!

I really enjoyed this series. It starts with Jessica heading off to the Venus School where she learns a lot of techniques for her pleasure and a partners pleasure.
Jessica falls in love with two of the instructors Justin and Chris.
The series moves on to Justin and Chris meeting up with Jessica after she has left the school and then starting a relationship together.
It covers the issue of parental disapproval and I thought the story was well written.
The series then moved on to include Jessica's friend Hilary and the development of her relationship with Liam.
I felt there are a few continuity issues towards the end but this was my first time reading Golden Angel and I would choose to read more of her work.
Jessica falls in love with two of the instructors Justin and Chris.
The series moves on to Justin and Chris meeting up with Jessica after she has left the school and then starting a relationship together.

Just unbelievable!
There are so many story's, and many hot and naughty ways to talk about them all. Justin,Chris, and Jessica find each other on this roller-coaster ride of how them meet at the school. They get totally wrapped up in one another and find a place in each of their hearts for one another. Continue to read the ups and downs of how to be accepted or not by family. You just want to root for them and wish all they went through was worth it. This is a fantastic series and worth through read. A set I would read again and again. I wish there was an audible version on this box set. I would totally get it!!

Good but needs editing
I loved the trio of Jessica, Justin, and Chris. I was hoping for a bit of MM action there, but oh well. Hilary and Liam were great. Chris’s family drama was emotional and made me cry.
That said, the book needs edits. The possessive of Chris is Chris’s, not Chris’. Pronouns were switched (‘he watched her put her hands above his head’ instead of her head). Names were confusing. We had Chris and, at one point, Kris. Then there were Adam and Andrew, Patrick and Rick, Justin and Jared. The names are too similar. There are also typos that are an easy fix if the author just did basic proofreading.

I loved these stories. This was s great introduction to Golden Angel and now I want more. I love Stronghold and the characters born out of the Venus School. It's a story of discovering and embracing your desires, now matter what anyone else thinks. It's also a story of discovering who your true friends and family are. It's intense, hot, sexy, and full of every emotion. I fell in love with all the characters! The best thing is that in this box set, you get all four stories in one so you don't have to put it down to look for the next one because they do have to be read in order.

Jessica enters into the Venus school to learn pleasure techniques. She ends up falling for her two sexy instructors, Justin and Chris. The trio end up being together but can they overcome all the family and other problems? You also get a bonus story for a wedding, will they be able to keep things calm or will a trainwreck happen for the trio? A great read and set from this author.

Venus Rising boxset
Chris Jessica And Justin oh so very hot love affair starting at the school was very well written. I loved that Golden Angel put in how society shamed them from feeling free to be themselves. Chris's family disowning to the work place gossip making Jessica leave. Than at the same time Jessica finds her true friends being there for her, The guys friends at Stronghold excepting her. The trio sex scenes where very hot.

Hot and sweet
The first book in this set is a very steamy tale about all the things that happen in the Venus School. Might become bothering… The next books delve deeper into the relationship between the three MCs, which makes the story much more interesting. They are funny and sweet. Besides steamy, of course in a reverse harem situation. And meeting some characters from the Stronghold series.
I liked this series very much and strongly advise to read this box set to get the whole adventure.

Great book to follow from beginning to wedding
I love watching the lead character blossom her sexuality over time and become comfortable with herself and her partners. It was a pleasure that she had support with her best friend and made more friends along the way.
So much prejudice from others about her life choices.
It’s hard to be in the middle of what others believe to be wrong and don’t understand or accept. This is a good way to learn about BDSM in some ways.

This is a great way to grab this series all at once and with one simple click. If you like books that offer plenty of heat, kink and emotion this box set is for you. Entertaining story lines, likable characters, hot chemistry and intense emotions make for very enjoyable reading. This is my freely posted, frank review.

Amazing set of stories!!
This is the first book/books I’ve read from this author and I am so glad I did!! The story is unlike any others over read and I was hooked from the start! The idea of the school and then finding love from it was so well written and the characters become like your friends from the very beginning. I can’t wait to check out more from this author!!

Hot, hot and just hotter!!!
Wow she had no idea what she was getting in to going to the Venue school but in the end run it was exactly what she needed and she was exactly what Chris and Justin needed.
The who story from start to finish held my attention and the family dynamics just added to the curiosity of it.

Venus School - Started interesting, but soon it was just one sex scene after another.
Venus Aspiring, Venus Desiring, Venus Transcendent - It was two stories in one book. It was dragging. Not really that much was happening.
Venus Wedding - I was glad it was over. Steve was too much drama in such short story.

Venus Rising box set by Golden Angel. This is a great box set and the best way to read as far as I’m concerned because the books end in cliffhangers but you can go right to the next book. I hate cliffhangers! The only other issue is between books four and book five a lot goes on in other series with these characters by this author. So you feel a little lost in book five.

I have most definitely become a fan of this author. I am very grateful that she offers her books in bundles. This is apparently the beginning of the Stronghold series, but I found this set after I had read all the others. I am glad to have gotten the storyline on these characters. If you are into some kink, give this series a try.

This was my first read by this author. It started off pretty interesting but as the series continued, there was a huge gap missing between the storyline of the fourth and fifth book. It was extremely hard for me to catch up with what had happened.

What a fantastic boxset! I devoured every single word and loved every page of it. There are so many ways I could describe these books, sexy, thrilling, hot, steamy, and romantic. I fell in love with Jessica, Justin and Chris and you will to, so give this boxset a read you won't be disappointed!

This book sucked me into her world. I adore friends or families like this. As a reader it's a sign of great story telling when you like nine books in a three week span . I still think it would have been cool if the guys were a couple as well but the storyline is great.

I just read all of these books seperately last week! They are so good and HOT, HOT, HOT! You get the stories of two couples within this series AND you get to know the entire Stronghold gang. Make sure you're up for it. These books are SPICY! Collectively this series is 5 stars!

Loved the story
I enjoyed reading about this triad and how they made things work. Loved the story of Hillary and Liam and getting to know their friends. The latter books could really use a proofreader for both sentence structure and continuity.
