NYC archaeology student Nikki always loved exploring ancient worlds - that is, until a mysterious mirror literally transports her to another dimension! Rescued from certain doom by a mysterious inter-dimensional traveller, Nikki slowly uncovers her secret connection to this weird and wonderful new place, not to mention the irresistible stranger who saved her.

I really hope they are going to change the covers in these series. They don't suit them. Why? Because in my humble opinion, they are not some kind of cheap erotic stories. J.M.Felic has created a very complicated and detailed universe with realms that cooexist in somewhat different dimensions. The stories extend from one realm to the other though, as the protagonists of the series are usually their kings and queens who mendle. Undressed by the King is one of the books ( having read only two I think it is the first one in chronological order) which take place in this universe. The King is arrogant, with high self esteem and apparently selfish. But no. While we go deeper in the story ( a really action filled and adventurous one) we see that he is much more - we just have to scratch the surface. I like stories with a lot of action, historical battles, spells and monsters. The author has surely ignited a spark in them, adding comical elements and naive (but only at the beginning) however powerful female characters. Good read.
Please find my review on our Instagram page - https://www.instagram.com/p/CD5XEpjhS... Heads up for new readers - the book is now available in full(paid) in Galatea and the sequel is also available there for free (Can't wait to read it).
Was intrigued by the world-building and magic in the first couple chapters but it quickly dissolved into a cringy frustrating mess and followed the same trend of trash male characters and stupid female ones. The characters quickly become unlikable and the “heroine” is ridiculously naive and lacks common sense and critical thinking but the story tries to convince us she’s intelligent. It’s frustrating because it’s very obviously a poor tactic to try to drag out the mystery but readers are not that dumb and we pick up on everything way before she does so then it just makes it an unpleasant read having to sit through her continuously making stupid decisions and asking the same questions over and over again, while still not demanding any answers from anyone or reaching any conclusions on her own. Then the worst part is the male leads are sexual assaulters who are constantly ignoring her boundaries and threatening sex on her but passing it as “he just wants her so much uwu” bullshit. One literally sneaks into her room without her permission to watch her sleep and then uses his powers to force her to not be able to move so he can touch her. Im mad I wasted my time and that the potential of the world was wasted on a problematic “romance”.
Started off very interesting and like it had potential, but it quickly went downhill. The logic and actions behind certain events make ZERO sense. Specially the spicy scene when they were in the other world and Nicolette was drunk. For Lucien, as long as Nicolette was saying yes, it equal consent even if she was drunk. And I quote:
“ I wasn’t used to asking permission, even from virgins, but knowing she was drunk, I had to. I didn’t want to force her to do anything she would regret later” -Lucien
What?? What logic is that?? She is still drunk and could still regret it later because…she’s drunk.
It starts off having potential then gets so cringey or eye-rolly, just no. Most of the characters are just gross. The story isn't developed well. Nicolette comes off as an idiot. I skimmed through 85% or more. It was just so poorly written. And Nicolette was not likeable. Waste of time to read, especially on Galatea.
Really hate the title but really enjoyed the books. There were some grammatical errors but that’s common in books like these I’ve noticed.
Truth be told my favorite aspect of these was the world created, I feel like if the author writes a third book it would be awesome to get more in depth with all the kingdoms & the depicted nature scenes.

This is a really interesting story. But the summary of the first part reveals more than actually happens in the whole book, it seems to be for the whole series. I listened to the audiobook on Galatea, but I don't really care for the narrator, she has an annoying nasal voice and speaks very slowly. Some actions don't make much sense, but I'm intrigued and will read the second book.
There were many spelling and grammar errors. Besides this I really enjoyed the concept. I have never read a book that you transported between worlds using mirrors or water like this book did. I really liked the different kingdoms and landscapes.
Read this book on Galatea this was a truly fascinating book wrote with plenty of detail long chapters to keep you interested in the story. Gives an exciting look into other planets. Hope there is a follow up book as of love to read more
This was such a fun read. I expected something completely different. It kept me on my toes and I expected nothing by the end. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire story line.
Another Galatea app special. Want to find the man of your dreams? Well, it appears all you need to do is slip through a mirror into another dimension. Simple right? Intricate worlds connected and so are the people that live in both of them. Strange things start to happen all around Nikki whenever she is near a mirror, or by certain men. Her attitude can come across as naive at times with how trusting she is. She really needs to start to listen to that little voice in her head more. Won't be long before she starts to feel a sense of déjà vu while in this whole other place. Like she may have been there before, if only in a dream with her dream guy. Let's see if she can make it a reality and put the pieces together about what is really going on. Magical adventure ride that has a lot of promise but does need a cleaner edit on it.
